SOMMER FAMILY BLESSING

Welcome to the blog for Linda Sommer.

My Blog will cover three subjects:

WORD FROM THE LORD, FAMILY, and MINISTRY.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

MINISTRY
Tom and I have traveled the world. To find out more about our ministry you may consult our webpage -

I will keep you updated on future speaking enagements and ministry developments.

STEADY

"Steady as you go!" is an instruction that the captain of a ship often gives to those who are in the control room of the ship. These are instructions also that I want you to hear every day. You are on the seas of life and to complete your safe journey home, you need to be steady as you go. By that I mean that you need to be steadfast in your walk with Me.

I am the Captain of the heavenly hosts and I am also the captain of your life. I desire for you to hear My warnings to you daily. The devil would love for you to get off the course I have designed for you to travel. You will not get off course if you are steadfast in your walk with Me. Steadiness is established in your life as you abide in Me, abide in My Word, and abide in My love. Together we will successfully bring the ship of your life into its safe harbor where you will be with Me face to face. Until that time, I say again, "Steady as you go!"

Paul gave this exhortation to believers, "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, imovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." Remain steadfast until the end.
