JOY

When I shared passover with My disciples in the upper room, I taught them the secret to having My joy continually in their lives. I knew they would need My joy to strengthen them for the days ahead. I ended My teaching and said, "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full."

There were three main things I shared with them that evening. I exhorted them to:

• Abide in Me - Recognize My presence with them always.
• Abide in My love - Love Me with all their hearts and love one another as I had loved them.
• Abide in My Word - Remain in My Word by listening and obeying it.

Do these three things today and every day and Satan will not be able to steal your joy.

JOHN 15:11

WAITING ROOM

The waiting room is a hard place to be for most people. I know you and many others have experienced the anxious moments while waiting in the Intensive Care Waiting Room to receive a report from the surgeon who performed surgery on someone you love. However, you do not have to be filled with anxiety in My waiting room - the time spent waiting for the answers to your prayers.

You can have peace and even joy as you wait for a response to your prayers. You can have great confidence that if you pray anything according to My will, you will eventionally have those petitions you required of Me. Two things to keep in mind while you wait are: know with an assurance that I intensively care about your every need and also know that My Father in heaven knows what is best. His heart is to always have good come out of every circumstance you may experience in your lifetime.

When you wait upon Me with confidence, you will mount up like the wings of an eagle. You will be able to soar above the circumstances and glide on the wind of My Holy Spirit.

1 JOHN 3:21; ISAIAH 40:31

WARFARE

You are seated with Me far above all principalities and powers, rulers of darkness, and wickedness in heavenly places. See yourself in that position today, and you will have victory always over your enemies. I have given you the keys to the kingdom - the keys of knowledge and the keys to bind demonic spirits and lose ministering angels in every situation.

I have given you all power over all the power of the enemy. The weapons of your warfare are mighty through Me. Speak My name, My blood, and My Word out loud and the enemy will flee. Call upon Me and I will do battle for you. Remember the battle is mine and the victory is yours.

EPHESIANS 6:12, 2 CORNITHIANS 10:4-5

RUNNING THE RACE WELL

Lay aside the weight that hinders you in the race of life. What is the weight in your life that keeps you from running the race of life well? The answer is simple and this answer is the same for every believer. The only weight that keeps you from making progress spiritually is YOU. Your fleshly nature has to be laid down.

You may ask, "How can I lay down My life?" Faithfully do the following and you will see great progress as you fulfill your call to share the good news of My kingdom with many. Daily, reckon yourself dead to sin and alive to Me. You do this by lifting up your soul to Me and allowing Me to take control over your mind, will, and emotions. Daily, offer your body to Me as a living sacrifice. Offer your body to be used as an instrument of My love, joy, and peace. Daily, moment by moment, take every thought captive that is contrary to My Word and give it to Me. Then I will help you to have right thinking.

HEBREWS 12:1; ROMANS 6:11, 12:1; 2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-6

CONTENTMENT

Contentment in all circumstances is what I desire for you to experience. Look at this word carefully. It contains the word, "content." Your contentment no matter what you may encounter each day depends upon your recognition of My presence within you. You are a vessel that contains My glory.

In Me you live and move and have your very being. My glorious presence is within your inner being. When you are dependent upon Me moment by moment, you never will be fretful, fearful, stressful, or anxious for anything during the day.

My servant Paul experienced many trials, but he learned to be content no matter what condition he was in or what circumstances he experienced. You also will experience total contentment today when you draw upon the true content, My presence, within you. The contents within you are My love, My joy, My peace, My patience, My faithfulness, My goodness, My mercy, My self-control, My kindness, and My gentleness. Draw from the contents within you today.

ACTS 17:28, Philippians 4:11, Galatians 5:22-23

ATONEMENT

My Father ordained animal sacrifices as an atonement for sin when He killed an animal and covered Adam and Eve's nakedness with the skins of the animal. That sacrificial system could only provide a covering for the sins of mankind. Without the shedding of blood there is no atonement for sin.

I came to Earth to provide the perfect sinsless sacrifice. My Father laid the sins of all mankind upon Me when I was crucified. My heart broke under the heavy weight of those sins.

On that day, the perfect atonement for sin was provided. That atonement provided more than just a covering for your sin. My shed blood provided a way for the debt of your sin to be canceled. On that day your sins were taken away, not just covered. As far as the east is from the west so far have I removed your sins and transgressions. When you receive these truths by faith and confess Me as Lord, you can rejoice!

Leviticus 17:11; Isaiah 53:5-6

RELEASE

I cannot bless what you tightly hold in your hands. In order for you to receive My blessings, you must release every care and concern to Me. I am able to see into the future, so I know what is best at all times. I am able to perfect every one of your concerns when you release each one to Me.

It is My joy and pleasure to give you the kingdom - righteousness, peace, and joy in My Spirit. I desire for you to dwell moment by moment in My kingdom. However when you refuse to release all to Me, I am not able to move on your behalf. Do not try to project your will upon My will. Instead, surrender all to Me, and most of all surrender your will to Me. Then the peace that passes your understanding will guard both your heart and mind, and joy will fill your soul.

Phillipians 4:6-7

PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

I came to lead you in paths of righteousness for My name's sake. When you stay on that path, I will empower you to do righteous deeds that have eternal value.

It saddens Me to see so many of My saints running down rabbit trails instead of staying on the path of righteousness. Staying on My righteous path will relieve your restlessness and give you My peace.

Those who seek to please themselves more than they please Me are traveling on rabbit trails that lead to destruction. Pray that you, your children and grandhcldren will always stay on My righteous path.

LESSONS LEARNED

Lessons learned can be of no avail if they are not applied later. So many times, I hear you say, "Well, I guess I really learned my lesson this time!" However, if you repeat once again the same mistake, you really have not learned your lesson.

The lessons I want you to learn will help keep from making wrong decisions that will have eternal consequences. There are only three lessons I want you to keep in your heart and apply in your life. The three lessons are based on two simple commandments, "Love the Lord your God with all your mind, soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself. The lessons I want you to learn are: Learn to abide in Me, My Word, and My love.

You learn to abide in Me when you are aware of My presence with you moment by moment. You abide in My Word when you take time to meditate on My Word and then take action to apply My Word. You learn to abide in My love as you learn to walk continually in My Spirit.
My love is shed abroad in your heart by My Holy Spirit. Only My Holy Spirit can help you love like I love. Daily review these lessons and apply them, and you will have abundant peace and joy.

JOHN 15

GLORIFY GOD

Let everything be done unto Me. Paul wrote and exhorted the saints to do everything to glorify Me. Your purpose on Earth is to glorify Me in your conversations and actions. I asked My Father to impart to you the very same glory that He gave Me. Never forget that you contain My glory.

You glorify Me whenever you manifest My love, joy, and peace to others. You glorify Me whenever your conversations are ordered aright. David, My psalmist worte, "He that orders his conversations aright glorifies Me. Glorrify Me today in all you do and say.

JOHN 17:1-5, PSALM 50:23

KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge is increasing daily, but few are seeking to know Me. This is the eternal knowledge that will not pass away. One day knowledge will cease. When that knowledge ceases, you will know Me even as you are known by Me. That day is coming.

In the meantime, seek eternal knowledge and allow My love to flow through you. To know Me is to love Me.

1 CORINTHIANS 13:8

PRACTICING HIS PRESENCE

Awareness of My presence is something I will help you develop. Truly the unseen world is more real than what you see with your natural eyes. The seen world is temporal and will pass away. The unseen world is eternal.

I am and will be with you always even until the end of the world. When the earth passes away, I will still be with you. Meditate on this today as you go about your daily tasks. Practice My presence with you. I not only am with you, but I also am within you. Allow My love to flow through you today. Do everything today with My strength and My peace. At the end of the day you will feel refreshed by My Spirit.

Matthew 28:20

MISSION POSSIBLE

JOY TO THE WORLD!! When I made My entrance into the world as a little babe, the angels rejoiced. The angels now rejoice when someone on Earth enters My kingdom as a little babe. What a joy when they see someone repent, receive by faith My true Word and be born again by the Spirit.

Your mission on Earth is to add to My kingdom. I desire for you to be on the alert continually for the opportunities I give you to share My good news with others. Never fear that the words I give you to speak will fall on deaf ears. I have the power to open both physical and spiritual ears.

You have the words of life. Share them. Keep sowing My Word and leave the results to Me.

LUKE 15:10

MINISTERING ANGELS

Run to Me whenever you feel a moment of doubt or fear. I am your shield and your high tower, your rock of safety. Understand that I have legions of angels waiting to do My bidding. They are waiting to mnister to you. However you must speak My Word and abide in My Word to activate them on your behalf.

They have flaming swords in their hands to dispel the enemy and to place a firewall of protection around you. Never allow doubt or fear to come into you. Pray the moment you are fearful and say out loud, 'I will trust in the Lord and not be afraid.' I am "Captain of the Heavenly Hosts."
I stand ready with My angels to protect and do battle for you. Call upon Me today.

HANDYWORK OF THE LORD

You are my handywork. Just as a seamtress takes the material given to her and cuts that material according to a pattern that has a specific design, so it is with your life.

There is a perfect pattern I have designed for you that I wove myself when you were in your mother's womb. Even before the foundation of the Earth, this specific design was in My heart for you. Now I am laying this pattern down on the material of your life. I have to pen, cut away the access, and finally stitch the seams together, and press the garment. It is an eternal garment. If you resist My skillful hands and move away from Me as I pen or complain when I cut and press, you will delay the finished product.

You have a choice to cooperate with Me, the "Master Seamstress" or to resist Me. The white robe you will have in heaven is made of the deeds I did through you while you lived on Earth. Allow Me to finish the garment, and thank Me for your destiny.

Revelation 19:8

FRETTING

Fret not yourself. Yes, I repeat this again, 'Fret not yourself.' Much of the discontent, disastisfaction, and even depression comes from your fretting over matters that truly are not your concern. Remember always that I am soverign and that I hold you close to Me.

You are hid with Me in God, My Father. This is a secure place that keeps you in a pavilion of peace. Never leave that pavilion by fretting yourself over what is happening in this world. Let My peace blanket you today, and then you will be able to walk victoriously and joyfully throughout the day.

Psalm 37:1

SHINING LIGHTS

Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify My Father in heaven. Truly, I am the One Who works through you both to will and to do of my good pleasure. I am the light of the world, and now you have My light within you. Shine for Me today.

My good pleasure is to give you My kingdom. My kingdom is not like a worldly kingdom where the material things of meat and drink are so important. My kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in My Holy Spirit.

Enjoy My kingdom today by remaining in My presence all the day long. You remain in my presence by keeping your mind stayed upon Me. When you do this, My light within you will be seen by others.

EXPECTATION

Joyful expectation is the path I have prepared for you to walk on the rest of your life. Never allow the mundaness of this life to pull you off this path. I have arranged suddenlies for you along the way and they are all good suddenlies.

I recognize that there have been suddenlies in your past that have caused you much grief.

I was there when those suddenlies happened, and I supported you through them all. My hand is always upon you and has been from the time you were in your mother's womb. I have been, am right now, and always will be with you. Keep your mind stayed upon Me and My joy and peace will fill you right now and always.

COLOSSIANS 3:2

TRUST

Trust in Me always. Trust is even a deeper spirtual level than faith. When you trust in Me, you never have to be worried or fearful. Elevate your thoughts to My majesty, My might, and My miracle working power. When you do this, you drop the props of your own understanding that seemed for a time to support you.

Whenever you lean on your own understanding, you have not trusted Me to be your Provider, Healer, Helper, and your everything. Remember My name is "I Am." I am all you need in this life to live joyfully and vistoriously. Release yourself into My everlasting arms and allow Me to support you through every trial. When you do this, My peace will overwhelm you.

RESISTANCE

TUESDAY-APRIL 2, 2010

Resistance to My will is rebellion. My children in the wilderness resisted Me whenever they murmured and complained to Moses. I desired to bless them so much, but their murmuring prevented the blessings from Me to shower them.

I am the "All Sufficient One" Who is able to do mighty miracles, but the stiff necks of My chosen caused a disconnect between them and Me. Whenever they murmured or complained, they raised their umbrella of pride and the showers of blessings I sent them never reached them. Their pride made it impossible for them to have faith in Me.

Pride is your greatest enemy because when you are in pride, you are also in rebellion against Me. I resist the proud and give grace to the humble. I exhort you to humble yourself every morning by casting all your cares upon Me. When you do this, you will see miracles and you will receive blessings upon blessings.
