STORMS

When I went fishing with My disciples, the skies were blue and the Sea of Galilee was calm. There were times, however, when the winds roared over the Golan Heights.  Suddenly we found ourselves in angry waters.

It was such an occasion when the disciples found me sleeping during the storm.  They were so afraid. I woke up and simply exclaimed, "Peace be still," and the waters became calm once again.

When the storm clouds in your life are brewing, I want you to remember that My strength is in the clouds.  I am in the midst of every storm you may experience in a lifetime. My strength is sufficient to give you peace. so you will not be submerged by the waves of adversity.

LUKE 8:23; PSALM 68:34

TRY

There are four words I want to give you this morning.  They are: "try, trial, truth, and trust." All four of these words begin with "TR."  I am "THE REDEEMER." When you meditate on the fact that I am THE REDEEMER, the four words I gave you will help you through every trial.

I know that when you go through horrific TRIALS that you TRY your best to have faith in Me.  TRIALS will never help you to grow in faith no matter how hard you TRY.  Only as you rely on Me, YOUR REEDEMER, will you be able to be an overcomer in every TRIAL.  It is My faith within you that helps you to overcome the world with all of its TRIALS and tribulations.

My faith within you will only grow as you remain in My TRUTH.  Faith comes by hearing My Word.
Today as you face certain trials, put your TRUST in My Word which is full of My promises to you.
I am THE REDEEMER, and when you put your TRUST in Me, you will be an overcomer.

VOICE

So many want to learn to hear My voice.  They forget that I love to hear their voice.  I rejoice every morning when you take time to just say "Good morning" to Me.

The promise in My Word is that all My sheep hear and know My voice.  Then you may ask, "Why do so many of My beloved have a hard time hearing My voice?"  The answer is simple.  They are easily distracted.  Their minds are filled with the worries and cares of this world.

Tomorrow morning and every morning, I do not want you to leave your house without taking time to hear My voice. Quiet your soul as My servant David did.  He heard Me sing to him, and then he wrote songs to Me as he watched the sheep.  He wrote, "I stilled My soul like a weaned child."  A weaned child does not have to cry to get his mother's attention because he trusts that she will feed him solid food.  I want to feed you with solid food ((My Word) every morning, and I want to sing songs to you also. Hearken to My voice.  The word "hearken" means to "listen, listening."

CONTROL

It seems like the whole world is out of control.  The severe storms, the crimes, the wars, earthquakes, and the infighting in politics are all manifestations of what I called the beginning of sorrows..

The whole earth is groaning like a woman in labor.  Her labor always is more intense just before birth.  Never forget that I have everything under My control.  Even the principalities, rulers of darkness, and wickedness in the spiritual realm are under My control.

Take comfort today that I also have the events of your life under My control.  However, you still have a will that sometimes does not cooperate with My plans for you which are always good. Release your day and yourself to Me today, and then My Spirit will be able to comfort you, guide you, and lead you throughout the day.  He will tell you the next thing to do.

MARK 1:8; JOHN 14:16 AND 26

PLEASANT

My desire for you is that you are pleasant whenever you speak to someone either by phone or in person.  My servant Paul exhorted believers to allow no corrupt word to proceed out of their mouths.  He challenged believers to season their conversations with grace so that the listener would be edified.

I want you always to impart grace to those with whom you converse.  Words are containers that can hold either bitter or sweet waters.  A prayer I want you to pray daily is: "Holy Spirit help me to order my conversations aright."

My promise is that  when you praise Me and order your conversations aright, you will glorify Me and you will experience daily the benefits of My salvation.  Those benefits include forgiveness, healing, and deliverance.

EPHESIANS 4:29; PSALM 50:23

FORGET/FORGIVE

I gave you these two words today because those two words describe My character.  When I walked on Earth, I was not forgetful, but it was My goal to both forget about those who said all manner of evil against Me falsely and to forgive them.

I never reviewed the wrongs others did to Me.  Reviewing wrongs keeps you in prison to an unforgiving spirit.  I exhorted others to bless those who curse you, and to do good to those who hate you, and to pray for those who spitefully use you.

Do not go to bed with anger in your heart towards those who have wronged you. Release those who have wronged you to My judgment, and know with assurance that I will do battle for you against those spirits that control your abusers.

MATTHEW 5:44

LAST

Many believers believe that these are the last days before My return.  Only My Father knows when I will return.

My disciples also believed that My return was immanent. The expectancy of My soon return gave them an unction from the Holy Spirit and an urgency in their hearts to spread My gospel quickly.
You do not know when you will take your last breath.  However, you do know Me and love Me.
There are multitudes who do not know Me.

Ask My Holy Spirit to give you the same unction, anointing, and urgency that My disciples had to take every opportunity to spread My gospel.  Ask for divine appointments to share My gospel with others today and every day because it may be your last day or the last day for someone to hear My truths.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:2-4

LISTEN

After I presented a parable, I often said, "He who has ears, let him hear." Of course, most everyone who listened to My parables had two physical ears.  However, many did not understand My parables.  I even had to explain those parables to My disciples. 

Everyone born has 2 sets of ears (physical and spiritual).  However, the spiritual ears of people are closed until they are born again.  Your rebirth ushers in a new way of hearing what My Holy Spirit is speaking to you.

Today, I want you to hear My voice with your spiritual ears.  I have given you My Holy Spirit to help lead and guide you in My truths and also to reveal the steps of faith I want you to take.  During this day, I want you to ask My Spirit to tell you the next thing to do.  Then wait to hear the still, quiet voice of My Holy Spirit as He instructs you throughout the day.

MATTHEW 11:15; JOHN 16:13

SELECT

I know you would love to select the day of your departure from this earth.  If you knew that day, you could give a blessing and goodbyes to all your loved ones. I know your days.  Everyone on earth will have an appointment with death.

I have heard you pray for those who are ill this prayer: "Lord, I pray that they will make that last appointment on time, (not a day late or a day early)."  I am able to prepare your heart for that day and often I even will speak to your heart the exact day, but this requires a listening heart.

You have a day to be born and a day to die.  All this is written in your Book of Life.  Until your special appointment arrives, I want you to enjoy every day, and spend quality time in My presence because in My presence is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore.

PSALM 139, 16:11

PASS

When some of My beloved go through trials that seem unending, they ask Me, "Lord, when will this ever pass?" I also have heard people tell others that their favorite phrase in the Bible is "It came to pass."

Trials, situations, circumstances, and experiences in life do pass, but My love for you is eternal and will never pass away.

The day will come when you will pass away and many of your loved ones also will pass away.  When My beloved pass away, they will pass My way, and will instantly fall into My everlasting arms of love.  I am the way, the truth and the life. When your time comes, you will pass My way.  I will never pass you by.
