REQUIREMENTS

The first question anyone usually asks when they consider taking a new job is: "What are the requirements?"  The job you have daily is to glorify Me in everything you do and say.  In order to do this, there are certain requirements.

The requirements for fulfilling your job to glorify Me are to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Me.  The other four requirements are simple:  Love Me with all of your heart and soul; hear My voice, keep My commandments, and allow Me to work through you to both give you the will and the way to do My Father's good pleasure.

Think about these requirements and depend upon Me to fulfill all of these requirements through you today.

INTERVENTION

Some people do not believe that I intervene in the affairs of people.  However, I always intervene when My beloved pray.  You are living in a day when there are so many distractions that even those who believe in Me do not daily pray. 

Prayer is simply talking with Me.  Sometimes you may feel that I am not listening or answering your prayers, but I hear every word as you make your petitions known to Me.  I know that you feel like you pray for the same things every day.  This does not trouble Me at all.  Many of My beloved do not even greet Me in the morning.

Always know that your prayers are important to Me.  I have chosen to intervene the most in a believer's life who loves Me and who takes time to pray.  I love to hear your voice every morning, and I never get tired of hearing your petitions.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-8

REFLECTION

Time spent reflecting on your past is time well spent.  Even though faith can only work in the "now," one way to build up your faith is to reflect on the times that you have stood on My promises in faith and have seen Me fulfill My promises.

All of My promises are "yes" and "amen"when you put your full trust in Me.  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.  I exhort you to speak out loud some of the promises that I have fulfilled in your life, and then your faith will be built up enough to claim My promises in the future.

I know you have heard of the value of keeping a prayer journal. However, of equal value is keeping a promise journal.  You can begin today by writing down just a promise or two that I have fulfilled in your life today. It gives Me great joy when you reflect on what I have done in your life.

REVIEW

The way to effectively study is to constantly review your notes.  I have called you to study to show yourself approved of My Father, a worker of God who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. As you study My Word, review, review, and review.  When you do this, you will discover the hidden treasures found in My Word.

My Word is presented layer upon layer.  I know how many times you have read My Word, but there is always more to learn.  When you are with Me in eternity, you will still be learning. 

My Father created you with an insatiable hunger to learn.  Listen today for the new revelations I will give you as you review My Word.

2 TIMOTHY 2:15

DISCOURAGEMENT

When My enemy developed the tool of discouragement, he saw that this was good and he rested for a season.  Discouragement is a dark cloud that often envelopes My beloved, and keeps them from shining as lights in the midst of this dark world.

Fight discouragement with My help when this wicked tool of the enemy invades your peace.  Put your focus on Me the moment you feel discouraged.  Recognize the fact that discouragement is a feeling.  It is not a fact.

My servant David leaned to encourage himself in Me.  When he felt discouraged he poured out his complaint to Me, and then he rehearsed all the victories I had given him.  This is also what you can do when discouragement comes your way.

PSALM 64

REFUSE

Consider the word "refuse."  When you refuse something, you take no action.  The word "refuse" can also mean waste or garbage.  My friend Paul wrote that he considered all of his accomplishments as "refuse."  The only thing important to him was to know Christ."

When our major desire is to know Christ, then we will be able to refuse all the "refuse" or garbage that this world offers.

Today refuse to become entangled with the affairs of this world and instead, seek His righteousness and His presence.  Your day will then be filled with joy, love, and peace.

MATTHEW 6

BEGINNING

In the beginning I created the heavens and the earth.  The day is coming when there will be a new beginning.  There will be a new heaven and a new Earth.  Most everyone likes new beginnings.

I give you a new beginning every day.  My mercies are new every morning.  I want you to forget the past and press on to what I have in store for you today.  Memories are precious, but the adventures I give you in a new day are exciting.

Look forward to this new day and enjoy what I have planned for you to experience today.

GENESIS 1:1

RECENT

When you think about Me, I want you to know My resent past through reading about My life in My Word.  However, never forget that I am making history through your life today.  I work through you moment by moment to accomplish My purpose in your life.

You may ask what is that purpose?  I purpose to glorify My Father through you just as I glorified My Father when I was on earth.  You glorify My Father by allowing My Spirit to work through you both to give you the will and the way to do My Father's will. 

My desire is that you demonstrate My presence in and through you with every person you speak with today.  I love it when I hear people you have recently talked to say, "I just met someone who is full of joy, peace, and love."  Let My light so shine through you that others may see your good works and glorify My Father in heaven.

PHILIPPIANS 2:13

BUILDING

When I was on Earth, I was more than a carpenter.  I was a Masterbuilder, and I still am.  Carpenters during the time I lived were builders who worked with both wood and stone.  I learned that trade from Joseph. 

I learned the building trade that I am now accomplishing from My heavenly Father.  I see you as My building.  Of course, you are still under construction, but you right now have all the building materials present within you to become an outstanding Temple for Me.  The building process began when you accepted Me as your Lord and Savior.

You are a living Temple who represents My presence wherever you go.  Daily I add jewels and finishing touches to your Temple as you release yourself to Me.  I take great pleasure in making you more beautiful inside and out every day.  Always remember that I am the One Who works within you both to will and to do of My Father's good pleasure.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:10-17; PHILIPPIANS 2:13

READY

I know how much you have to do to get ready for a long trip.  You have to pack and see that things are in order in your home before you leave.  All of My beloved will one day take their journey to be with Me forever.  There are only a few things that you need to do to prepare for this journey,

First, live each day as if I were coming that day.  Second, stay in My Word and pray.  Third, use every opportunity to share My gospel with others.  Finally,  allow Me to work through you both to give you the will and the way to do what pleases My Father.  Do these four things and you will always be ready for My return.

PHILIPPIANS 2:13

TEMPTATION

You were born with a soul that Is vulnerable to My enemy's temptations.  You have three weak areas in your soul: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life.  When I was tempted in the wilderness, I demonstrate exactly how you can overcome Satan when he tempts you in the area of your lusts. I had no lusts, but Satan was trying to form lusts within Me.

When Satan tempts you to satisfy your five senses in an addictive obsessive way, you can speak out the same words I spoke in the wilderness.  You can say, "It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God."  When Satan tries to fill your mind with vain imaginations, you can say, "Get behind me Satan: for it is written, I shall worship the Lord my God, and Him only shall I serve."  When My enemy tempts you to be prideful, you can say, " You shall not tempt the Lord Who lives within Me."

1 JOHN 2:16; LUKE 4:1-13

SUBSTANCE

You live in a world of the seen.  However, there is an unseen world all around you.  That world is the spirit realm.  You can see things that have substance, but you usually cannot see into the spiritual realm.  There is an unseen substance that you is a part of your faith.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. If you could have your eyes open to see the spiritual realm, you would be amazed at how your prayers travel up to My throne room.  When you pray, you send a laser beam of light to My throne room..  That laser beam of light is the highway of faith that gives you immediate access to My throne room.  The highway of faith is paved with a substance called hope.

The substance of hope is My Word.  As you pray My Word, My Word is written on that laser beam of light (the highway of faith) and it enters My throne room immediately.  When you pray, speak My Word out loud even when you make your petitions known to Me, and your prayers will always be effective.

HEBREWS 11:1

SAFE

I know how you rejoice when you return from a trip safe and sound.  I also rejoice.  Always be assured that My angels are constantly on duty to watch over you.  When you pray every morning that I place a chain-link of angels around your vehicle and the vehicles of those you love, I do just that.  I am Captain of the heavenly hosts and My angels hearken to My Word as you give My Word voice.

There were two angels present at My tomb.  They rolled the stone away when I rose again from the dead.  All of My beloved have at least two angels to watch over them.  Some of My beloved have many more. 

When you have a fellowship of believers meet in your home, the angels that are assigned to those believers accompany them.  They enjoy fellowshipping along with you.  They especially love hearing you speak My Word out loud and sing songs to worship and praise Me.  Always be hospitable in these last days because you most assuredly will be hosting angels as well as My faithful followers.

PART

Many of My beloved ask this question, "What is your part, LORD, and what is My part as we co-labor together?  When you understand what your part is as we co-labor together, the fruitfulness of your life  in My kingdom will increase. Your part is three fold:

Focus on Me by setting your affections on the things that are above, not on this earth:
Feed on My Word by both hearing and heeding My Word.
Follow the lead of My Spirit as He leads and guides you into all truth.

Always remember that I do the work within you.  When you do your part, I will then have total access to your life to both give you the will and the way to do  My Father's good pleasure.

PHILIPPIANS 2:13; 1 CORINTHIANS 3:9

PERISH

I do not want anyone to perish.  My desire is that all would come to know Me and receive Me as their Lord and Savior.  The day will come when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that I am Lord.  However, then it will be too late to turn to Me.

Throughout My Word you will see how longsuffering My Father is.  In fact, the world would not exist today had it not been for the longsuffering that was extended to those who have not repented.

When you pray for those you know who have not yet come to know Me in a personal way,  ask My Father to draw them with His bands of love.  No man will come to know Me unless My Father draws them to Me.  Once they know Me, they can then begin the journey of knowing My Father.  Never give up praying for your lost loved ones.

2 PETER 3:9;JOHN 6:44, 12:32

ATTENTION

I am a detailed God.  I pay attention to every detail of your life.  I know that is hard for you to believe, but understand that I live in many more dimensions than you do.  Your focus is limited by the dimensions that you experience on Earth..

Since I know what your future holds, present all the details that you now know about to Me.  I can work with whatever you release to Me.  I will never force My will upon you.  However, as you give the works that  you plan for the day and pray that I will put you in the right place at the right time, I will then be able to take care of the details.

I rejoice when I can give you surprises along your path that will bless you.  I am always delighted when you are delighted about the details that I have planned for you.  Those details far exceed anything you could think, hope, or imagine.  Look forward to this day.  Your steps will be ordered by Me simply because you delight yourself in Me.

PSALM 37:23;

EVERLASTING

You live in a world where nothing lasts forever.  Your clothes, car, furniture, jobs, and even your relationships do not last forever.  However, My relationship with you will last forever.  Your life also will last forever.  When you received Me as your Lord and Savior, My everlasting Spirit came to dwell within you.  When you die My Spirit Who has regenerated your spirit will live forever.

I have set you free from the bondage of the fear of death.  When you close your eyes, you will be in My presence and you will remain in My presence for all eternity.

Rejoice today because you have an everlasting seal upon you that guarantees that you will live eternally..  That seal is My Holy Spirit.

JOHN 6:27;ROMANS 8:15, 21

INTERVENTION

I know that there are times when you want Me to intervene in the world's affairs and even in your own affairs.  However, I have chosen to limit Myself through the prayers of the saints.  I do hear the cries of My beloved.  Keep in mind though that I know the future, and there are events in the future that would not bring forth good fruit in My Kingdom if I intervened the moment you pray.

Recognize that I have the big picture.  It is My ultimate plan to bring My Kingdom to Earth, but the timing of this is in My Father's hands.  Only He knows when the time is right for Me to return to Earth.

There is always a reason that I do not send you the answer to your prayers immediately when you pray.  Remember Daniel and how he waited for three weeks before the answer to his prayer was manifested on Earth because there was warfare in the spiritual realm.  However, I heard Daniel's prayer the moment he prayed.  Be assured also that hear your prayer the moment you pray.

DANIEL 10

IMAGINATION

The inspired writers of My Word often wrote this phrase, "Seek My face."  I want you daily to seek My face daily.  You seek My face when you daily spend time in My presence.  Sometimes I do reveal My face in a vision to some of My beloved.  However, all of My beloved can imagine with their divine imaginations what I look like.

The whole earth was destroyed because of the vain and wicked imaginations in the minds of mankind.. My psalmist David said that My face was ever before Him.  My Spirit was able to reveal My face to him generations before I was born on Earth. Since you are born of My Spirit, you now have a divine imagination.  Enjoy using your divine imagination to aid you as you give Me thanksgiving, praise, and worship.

PSALM 27:6

CARRYING

I want you to think about how I care for you and how I am carrying you through life's troubles..  You are hid with Me in My Father's heart and this gives you great security when you think of this position.  Also I want you to think about My carrying you.  My arms surround you continually, but My arms also lift you up above the difficult circumstances you may face daily.

I want you to visualize yourself in My arms just like a bridegroom carries his bride across the threshold on the first night of their honeymoon.  I am your bridegroom and I lift you over the threshold of trials and tribulations.  This is why you can be of good cheer because I have overcome the world with all of its difficulties.

Because you are in the world, you will experience tribulation, but I will carry you safely through both the fire and the flood of adversity.  Know how much I love you and how protective I am of you day by day.  Keep your focus on this visual of My strong arms not only around you, but also lifting you above anything that will rob you of My peace.

TRAVEL

I know how you enjoy planning for your next travel away from home.  You think about the clothes you are going to take for the special events you will experience when you reach your destination.

You are on a journey right now.   Your journey heavenward began at your birth.  There are definitely things that you can do to prepare yourself for your finale destination..

The clothes you will wear when you reach your heavenly destination are beautiful white garments.  The threads that are woven into this garment are the righteous acts that you do while you are on Earth.  Every time you allow Me to work through you both to will and to do of My Father's good pleasure threads are added to this garment.  You will wear this garment at My wedding supper.
Until then, partake of the table I have already prepared for you.  Daily ingest My Word, the bread of life, and drink My wine, My Holy Spirit.
