ENGAGED

Jeremiah had a very encouraging word for the children of Israel.  Even though the children of Israel had worshipped other gods, God was not finished with them. God said He would cause them to draw close to Him because they had engaged their heartS to approach Him.

God was approachable then and He is even more approachable now because of the blood I shed on the cross to reconcile mankind to My Father.

What a hopeful word this is for you to read at this time.  My Father has the drawing power to draw your loved ones to Me.  So many of you are concerned about loved ones who do not know Me. Keep praying for them, and hold on to this promise that My Father has all power to draw them to know Me.

JEREMIAH 30:21

AGAINST

I have given you all authority to come against the devil.  Since I died and shed My blood to forgive and redeem you, you have all authority in My name because of My blood. The dominion that the devil had after the Fall is now totally in your hands.

Use that authority, but always remember that you are not fighting flesh and blood.  You are fighting against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and wickedness in heavenly places.

My light within you can cause My enemy to flee from you.  Greater am I within you than he that is in the world. Also remember that if I am for you, who can be against you.

EPHESIANS 6:12; 1 JOHN 4:4; ROMANS 8:31 

STEPS

So many in your nation have been praying and crying out to Me for righteousness and truth to once again reign in your land. This morning as you were praying, I gave you Psalm 85 to read.  When you read it, you received hope.

Many feel hopeless and discouraged, but I am hearing your prayers. I want you to decree and declare the last few verses in Psalm 85.

"Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.  Yes, the LORD shall give what is good; and our land shall yield her increase.  Righteousness shall go before Him; and shall set us in the way of His steps (Psalm 85:11-13).  I will set your nation in the way of My steps as you continue to trust in Me.

PROHECY

There seems to be such an interest in prophecy now.  Some people believe that I will return in the next several years. They are listening to various prophets and examining the prophetic scriptures.

Only My Father knows when I will return.  It is good to look at the prophecies of old because many of them point to Who I am.  Peter, however, exhorted believers not to believe their own interpretation of prophecies.

Peter heard My Father's voice when He said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Peter wrote that we have also a more sure word of prophecy. You do not have to hear the audible voice of God to know without a doubt that I am the beloved son of God.  Read the prophets of old and ask the Holy Spirit to interpret those things these men said because they spoke under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

2 PETER 1:17-21

VOICE

Your voice is very important in these days when it seems that your culture is being drawn away from Me.  Change will come to your country and to your city when you speak My Word and fill the atmosphere where you live with My spoken Word.

Angels hearken to the voice of My Word.  As you give voice to My Word in your prayers and declarations, I send My angel armies to fight for righteousness to be restored in your city and country. 

The centurion who wanted me to heal his servant did not feel worthy for me to visit his home. He had great faith and said, "Speak the word only and my servant shall be healed."  His servant was healed.  Speak My Word only over your city and nation, and they will be healed.

PSALM 103:20;  LUKE 7:6

MIGHT

My Body on earth has many enemies now.  I want you to know that I have already defeated Satan and all of his demons. David knew that I, the almighty One, has defeated all of your enemies.

David wrote these words and I want you to remember them always.  He wrote: "You have given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me."

I am almighty God Who through My shed blood has given you all authority to destroy your enemies.  The destruction was complete when I died and bore the sins of the whole world upon My body.  Now declare that the victory has been won, and rejoice that you only now have to enforce that victory on earth.

PSALM 18:40

SUBMIT

The word, "submit," means to yield control of to surrender to others.  Peter exhorted believers to submit themselves to every ordinance  of man by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them who do well.  

Submission, however, to ordinances of men that are unrighteous in their actions and deeds is not something that would please God.  We are to stand for righteousness and right government.  

When the unrighteous religious leaders in the book of Acts required that the disciples no longer speak the name of Jesus to others, Peter and John did not submit.  They continued to share the gospel and many were put in prison and others were killed for their faith.  Pray for the persecuted church today who have been imprisoned for their faith.

1 PETER 2:13; ACTS 4:17-20

HOLD

I do hold the whole world in My hands.  Yes, there is the god of this world who is Satan, but I am the LORD of all.  I am over every principality and power.  I am the LORD of angel armies.

The war in the spiritual realm has intensified, and this is why more than ever I want you to hold fast to your faith and your profession.  This is not a time to waver.  The writer of Hebrews wrote: "For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end:...."

I am calling My Body on earth to hold fast with confidence to their faith in Me.  I want them to remember that they are doing warfare in the spiritual realm from a place of victory, not defeat.  Never forget that you are seated with Me in heavenly places far above all the wicked armies on Earth. I have won the victory.

HEBREWS 3:14; EPHESIANS 2:6

ESCHEW

Today you saw the word "eschew" in 1 Peter 3:8-11.  The dictionary definition for "eschew" is to "keep away, or to avoid, or abstain." Peter's exhortation in this passage is worth daily applying it to our lives.      

"Finally, be all of one  mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be merciful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that you are called to do this in order to inherit a blessing. For he who will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile.  Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it (1 Peter 3:8-11)."

Peter became a changed man after he received the baptism in the Holy Spirit.  He had been a man who always got in trouble with his tongue, and he lacked self-control. The Holy Spirit was able to tame and train Peter's tongue after Pentecost.  May we daily submit out tongues to the power of the Holy Spirit.

1 Peter 3:8-11

TRUTH

My adversary is bombarding the earth with his lies through the media, false teachers and prophets, and through every means possible.  I called the devil the father of lies and there is no truth in him.

He has filled the atmosphere with his lies. He is the prince of the power of the air, but My truths are much more powerful than his lies.

Pray for your nation and the world to tear off the veil of lies and to wake up to the truth.  I am the way, the truth, and the life.  Pray for many to turn to Me as the days grow short before My return. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit Who is the Spirit of truth.

JOHN 8:44, 14:6; EPHESIANS 2:2

ENRICH

I chose this word for you to write about today because it is through Me that My body on Earth can be enriched.  The word in your English language means to give more wealth or to give more importance to something.

I want you to know that I can enrich you in much more than wealth.  I can enrich you in everything you speak and in all that you know.

I want to bountifully enrich you with My peace, joy, love, wisdom, understanding and grace.  In order to receive this bounty of enrichment, I want you to remain always in a state of thanksgiving.  It is your gratefulness to Me that makes all grace abound to you.  Today give Me thanks continually and you will be enriched.

1 CORINTHIANS 1:5; 2 CORINTHIANS 9:11 

BELIEVE

 When I was asked what shall we do that we might work the works of God, I responded with these words: "This is the work of God, that you believe on Him Who He has sent."

I have called My church to do the works that I do, and I promised My body on Earth that they would do even greater works than I have done.  I know this is hard to believe, but it is true.

When I walked on Earth, I was limited by My body.  I could only be in one place at one time.  When I sent My Holy Spirit to indwell you and all those who believe in Me, then I could minister all over the world through you and My body on earth. Believe today that My Holy Spirit Who indwells you can enable you to do what I did on Earth and even greater works

JOHN 6:28-29, 14:12

CORRECT

Families in your age are spending less and less time with their children.  When you were young, your mother and dad taught you the correct manners and the correct words to say in public.  

The lack of this type of teaching has led to rebellious children who do not respect and honor their parents. This lack of parental guidance has opened the door to the lawlessness that you are experiencing now in your nation and all over the world.

Pray for the reconciliation of families and the establishment once again of family times together when the Word of God is read and when prayers are lifted to Me.  Your prayers will make a difference.

2 TIMOTHY 3:1-4 

RECORD

What you do and say is recorded in heaven in your book of life.  There is also a book of remembrance where every time you think or speak My name or anything about Me is recorded.

I want you to speak often about Me.  You can speak about Me throughout the day when you praise and worship Me, and when you read My Word out loud.

More is happening than you can see with your natural eyes whenever you give My Word voice on Earth. My angels come to attention every time you give My Word voice on Earth.  Make it your goal each day to speak My name and to speak My Word out loud.  Your day will be blessed when you do this.

MALACHI 3:16; PSALM 103;20

ORDER

It was the disobedience of Adam and Eve that brought death into the world. Sin always brings death. Every man born since Adam and Eve are born in sin. 

Since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. I am the resurrection and the life.

I was the first fruit of the resurrection. The order of the resurrection is this: Those who died in Me will be raised from the dead first and those who remain and are alive in Me will join Me in the air. Both will be changed and live with Me for all eternity.

1 CORINTHIANS 15:21-23

ADD

When I exhorted My followers to seek first the kingdom of God and My righteousness, I promised that I would be able to add to all your physical needs.  

Now that you are seeking My kingdom first, I want you to co-labor with Me as we add souls to My kingdom.  

The spiritual food that you need in order to lead others to confess Me as their Lord and Savior is My Word which is your spiritual food.  When you abide in My Word, My love, and Me, you will be able to add souls to My kingdom. 

MATTHEW 6:33

SET

When you go to races, the announcer usually declares this phrase: "Get ready, set, go!  Then a flag is lifted as a sign that the race is on.

Paul compared life to a race.  During the age that you are living, many are becoming weary of the race.  However, you must always remember that I have already won the race, and I am waiting at the finish line of your life to receive you into My arms.

Do not grow weary of well doing. I have sent My Holy Spirit to help encourage you to finish your race well.  It is not time to give up.  It is time for you to charge against My enemy through warfare prayer.  Never forget that you are enforcing the victory that I have already won as you fervently pray.

1 CORINTHIANS 9:24

 

FOLLOW

I gave the invitation to the fishermen to come follow me, and I promised that I would make them fishers of men. They dropped their nets and followed me.

They followed Me throughout My travels in Israel.  However, it was not until they received My Spirit that came upon them in power that they were empowered to become one with Me.

Through the Holy Spirit Who dwells within you and Who has already come upon you with power, you now do not have to follow in my footsteps.  Instead as you take steps in faith, I am instep with you and I will carry you through every trial with My joy within you that gives you great strength.

MATTHEW 4:19: JOHN 17:20-21

DESIRE

I had three beautiful desires when I was with My Father in heaven and also when I was on Earth.  I desired to enjoy My Father, worship My Father, and glorify My Father.  Satan had these same desires before he fell to earth.

Satan fell to earth because he rebelled and lifted himself up in pride.  Once he came to earth, Satan's beautiful desires were perverted into three worldly lusts: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.

These three worldly desires were formed in Adam and Eve when they gave in to Satan's temptation to disobey God. Since the Fall, every person born is born with these three lusts.  Be aware of My adversary when he tempts you to rebel against Me by opening the door to these worldly lusts.

1 JOHN 2:15-16 

QUIET

Paul exhorted the Thessalonian Church to study to be quiet, and to do their own business, and to work with their own hands.  It could be that there were busy-bodies in the church who were gossiping.

This exhortation, however, is one that I think would be well for My church on earth to obey.  Solomon wrote that the person who keeps his lips keeps his soul from troubles.

My beloved David prayed a wonderful prayer.  He prayed: Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips (Psalm141:3). This would be a good prayer to pray today and every day.

1 THESSALONIANS 4:11; PROVERBS 21:23; PSALM 141:3

MYSTERY

Every believer is a steward of the mysteries of God.  So many in your culture today are not even interested in the mysteries of God. However, there is one mystery that will give everyone hope when they finally surrender to Me.

Paul spoke of this wonderful hope which is "Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)." I truly am the only hope for this world.  So many now are hopeless as they see this world spiraling out of control.

This hopelessness among so many has given you the opportunity to share the truth of My gospel with others.  As long as people are trusting in themselves instead of trusting in Me, they will remain hopeless. I have revealed this mystery to you so that you can share this mystery with others.

1 CORINTHIANS 4:1; COLOSSIANS 1:27

LEGION

On the night I was betrayed, one of my disciples pulled out his sword and struck one of the servants of the high priest.  I told him to put up his sword because those who take the sword shall perish with the sword.  

Then I exclaimed, "Do you not think that I could now pray to My Father, and He would presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels? I am now in charge of all the angel armies.

As you do warfare for your country and the nations during this critical time in history, I want you to never forget that I can send legions of angels to rescue and to do My Father's will.

MATTHEW 26:51-54

FIGHT

My beloved Paul described his life as a battle. He exhorted his spiritual son, Timothy, to fight the good fight of faith and to lay hold on eternal life.

You live in an age when you are called to understand the spiritual battle that you are experiencing.  My enemy will do everything possible to try to rob you of not only your faith, but also of your joy.

The only way to win this spiritual battle is to call upon My strength.  I have given you every spiritual weapon that you need to fight, but the ultimate victory will only come when you know without a doubt that I have already won the victory.  Now your job is to enforce that victory.  Pray for every believer today to see that they are fighting from a place of victory, not defeat.

1 TIMOTHY 6:12; 2 TIMOTHY 4:7

COUNT

My brother James exhorted believers to count it all joy when various trials came their way.  This is a tall order, and it is impossible for you to do this without counting on Me to help you.

I can give you a way of escape whenever you feel you are tempted above that which you are able to stand, and whenever a trial seems so overwhelming that you feel you have no strength to face it.

The way of escape is to come to Me and abide in My presence.  In My presence is fulness of joy and pleasures forever more.  My joy then will be deposited in you and the strength to both overcome Satan when he tempts you and trials when they assail you will be instantly available to you.

SLOW

I created you to be the first fruits of those I have created.  This means that you have a great responsibility to show forth My glory.

You can only show forth My glory when you depend upon My Spirit to anoint you and work through you. As you yield to My Spirit, you will be able to do three things that are impossible to do without My Spirit.

I designed you to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath.  Receive the anointing of My Spirit today to listen to My voice, to speak only when I tell you to speak, and to allow My peace and love to reign in your heart.When you do these three things, you will glorify Me.
