TAME

You live in a world now that seems to be untamed. So many are going their way and doing their own thing. When you look at what is happening today throughout the world, you may question, "Why do people act sometimes like untamed beasts? My brother James compared the tongue to an untamed beast and therein is the problem. The wise words that you speak daily will bring calm and peace to you no matter what circumstance you are experiencing. However, if you allow your tongue to speak foolish things, you will trouble your own soul.

Only My Spirit can tame your tongue. He can train and tame the tongue that was unruly before and bring it into submission to Me. Pray daily that My Spirit will anoint your tongue with the law of kindness. Meditate on Solomon's Proverbs. Allow the proverbs about the mouth and the tongue to be written on the tablet of your hearts.

Today you have an opportunity to bless others and edify them with what you say. Just as My Spirit can fill your heart with My love, He can also fill your mouth with what you should speak.

PSALM 19:14

DIRECT

You have a direct connection with Me through My Holy Spirit. Call upon His help daily. Listen carefully to His instructions and then obey. There is a direction I want you to take in every circumstance, but you will not know which way to go if you do not listen carefully to that still, small voice of My Spirit.

I have chosen you to direct others to Me. I will put people in your path even today who you can help lead and guide when you depend upon My Spirit to give you the words to say and the things to do. I want to reveal more of My love to each person you meet today.

Be on the alert to give a word of encouragement and a word of blessing to those you meet. There are many today going in the wrong direction, but as you share My love with them, they will turn to Me so that I can direct their path.

PSALM 23

TRAVEL

I love to travel. I traveled to earth and was born as a babe. I traveled from Nazareth to Egypt when I was a boy and then returned to Nazareth. I traveled to Jerusalem three times a year to the feasts. In fact, I observed every feast in Jerusalem.

During My short ministry of three 1/2 years I traveled daily around the Sea of Galilee. I visited every village and every town. I did not have a back pack or a suitcase. I took no food with Me. I trusted My Father to take care of My needs and He did. Soon there were many who followed Me in My travels. Many of them supplied a place for Me to sleep and to dine. My favorite spot on the Galilee was Peter's home. His mother-in-law loved to cook. They often had church in their home.

When I was about to be crucified, I traveled from the Mt. of Olives to Jerusalem where I was welcomed by the crowds. Then I traveled the long road in Jerusalem to Golgotha. When I reached Golgotha and took My last breath, My Spirit left My body and I traveled to preach to those saints in Abraham's bosom. After I was raised from the dead, I traveled to receive the promise of My Father. Then I traveled back to earth and enjoyed the fellowship with My disciples.

I ascended into heaven from the Mt. of Olives and soon I will travel back to earth and set My feet once again on the Mt. of Olives. Through all My travels, I had you on My heart. I gave My life for you and one day you will travel to meet Me in the air to attend the marriage supper I have prepared for you.

LUKE 16:22; 1 PETER 3:19

RESOURCES

People struggle financially often, and they fear they will not have enough resources. I have promised, however, to be your source for resources. When you trust Me and lean not on your own understanding, you do not have to fear in the area of your finances.

I am your "Good Shepherd." My mandate is to supply what you need. Look to Me whenever you are fearful about meeting your financial obligations. I own the cattle on 1,000 hills. I have a treasure house in heaven that has an endless supply.

As you are faithful to sow to My Kingdom, I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessings. Never allow fear to paralyze you concerning you daily bread. This is why I said to My disciples to pray, "Give us this day our daily bread." It is My joy to meet your needs. As you obey My Word and look to Me as your source for resources, you do not have to fear loss or financial bondage. Remember how I took care of the children in the wilderness. Their shoes never wore out and there was not one sick among them.

PSALM 50:10

VESSELS

In My house there are vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor. You are My house. I live within you. You are the temple of My Spirit. I exhort you to build your house with gold, silver, and precious jewels, not wood, hay, and stubble. Because I live in you, My Father sees you as a golden vessel fit for His service. You are more precious than gold to Me and My Father.

The building materials that cause you to shine as a vessel or house made of gold are the words you speak. What you speak can tear down My house or build it up.

Every day I give you the choice to build your holy sanctuary (your body) with gold that will last an eternity or with wood, hay, and stubble that will be only temporal. Choose you today the building materials that will cause those around you to see My beauty in you. Watch what you say today. Speak only those things that edify (build up).

1 CORINTHIANS 3:9-17

TEMPORARY

Understand that the way you spend your days can have an impact eternally. When you receive this truth, your days will be centered on three things - sharing My good news with others through teaching and witnessing; ministering to those who come your way throughout the day; and redeeming the time.

Focus moment by moment on Me and listen carefully to the the still, quiet voice of My Spirit.
When you focus on temporal things throughout the day, you will not be able to hear the leading of My Spirit. Temporal things are truly temporary. They will pass away.

Offer yourself daily as a living sacrifice to Me and allow Me to fill you with a fresh anointing. Always remember that you are on earth for one purpose - to glorify Me. You glorify Me when you allow Me to accomplish My will through you.

PHILIPPIANS 2:13

COMPROMISE

Look and this word carefully. It contains the word, "PROMISE." Many see this word as a word that means people have to give in to one another in order to come to a mutual agreement. However, compromising does not have to be a word with this conotation. If you put My Word in the back of your mind when you read My Word, you will see what I mean by the word, "compromise."

You are never to compromise your stand in Me. So many these days are compromising their morals and their whole life for worldly ambition and materialism. My Word says that you are to esteem one another higher than yourself. When you do this, most of your relationships will be healed. Instead of compromising My Word, begin to co-promise with Me and with others. Receive My promises with faith and cooperate with My Holy Spirit. When you do this, you will not compromise My values and My principles that are clearly listed in My Word.

Instead of compromising with one another, submit to one another in love and pray in agreement as you receive My promises. Your relationships and your whole life will change.

2 CORINTHIANS 1:20

TIMING

Timing is so important in My kingdom. I deal in the now and what and when you do things is so important to Me. Follow the lead of My Holy Spirit. I have sent Him to you as your helper. He will help you to know what to do next. Keep asking Him about the next step and you will be flowing in the Spirit.

Take a few minutes apart to pray with Me. I love to hear your voice. Take time to thank and praise Me and you will remain in an attitude of gratitude all the day long. My grace will always abound to you and you will able to receive My grace, My supernatural power, to do the next thing when you remain in thanksgiving.

JOHN 14:14-26

REPROACH

I have taken away your reproach once and for all. People experience reproach when they are violated in some way by others. They may have been sexually abused or criticized and accused continually. When others do those things to wound and hurt you, Satan will see to it that shame comes into your life. He wants to keep you in shame and false guilt so that you cannot receive My unconditional love. When you are in shame and guilt, you are an easy prey for the devil, and you will easily give into him when he tempts you.

When I died on the tree to take away your sin, I took all of your sins away - past, present, and future. I freely forgave you. I was rejected and despised by many. Even My Father rejected me for a moment when all the sins of the world were laid upon Me. That moment was when I cried out, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?" I had to experience shame and rejection for that moment so that you will never have to experience shame and rejection in your life. On the cross I traded your rejection and shame for My acceptence and love. I have rolled your reproach away. I have brought you to the place of Gilgal which means to roll your reproach away.

Rejoice today because you are free from condemnation. You are free from My judgments upon you. You have nothing to be ashamed of because I took shame away when I died for you.

ISAIAH 53:3; HEBREWS 11:26

REFORM

I formed you in your mother's womb and I was very pleased with the results. So many in this day think they are not fitting, beautiful, handsome, or important. Rest assured, that you are so very important to Me. I know the number of hairs on your head and I love everyone of them. Let My love for you sink deeply into your heart today.

Know that you are accepted in the beloved. My Father loves you just as much as I love you.
We have extravagant love for you so today receive the embrace of My love and receive yourself just as you are. I do not want you to change a thing. Instead of trying to reform yourself into what you think you should be, allow My Holy Spirit to form you into My image. He is doing this every day, so rejoice!

EPHESIANS 1:3-6

RESPOND

It is so easy for you to react instead of responding in love to others when they come against you. However, I exhort you to respond in love to all those who you may meet during the day. Never take anything anyone says to you personally. Understand that you are in a great spiritual battle and accusations, criticisms, and condemnations are some of the main tools my enemy will use against you.

Remember always that you are not fighting against flesh or blood. You are fighting against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and wickedness in heavenly places. My enemy uses the mouths of others to wound you and this is why you need to always be wearing My breastplate of righteousness. This part of My full armor will protect your heart from being wounded by words others say.

Knowing that people are not your enemy will help you respond to them in love rather than react in an unloving way. Bless those who curse you and do good to those who spitefully use you. When the enemy comes against you through the mouths of others, simply say out loud, My righteousness is of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am your righteousness and the enemy cannot come against My righteousness within you.

EPHESIANS 6; ISAIAH 54:17; MATTHEW 5:54

CONSTANT

My love for you is constant and unchanging. You live in a world that is full of inconsistencies. Just as soon as you think something will continue and be constant, a "suddenly" happens to change those circumstances. The "suddenly" could be a loss of a job, a loss of health, or even a sudden loss of a loved one. This is why you must live in the moment. Each moment I give you is a gift. Cherish the moments, but more than that, cherish the people you are with during that moment.

I ministered to those who came to Me as I walked the shores of Galilee. Each person I ministered to was precious to Me. It was My unchanging, constant, and extravagant love that changed those I touched and those I taught. My love is the most powerful weapon that you can use against the enemy who comes to rob, steal, and destroy.

Today ask the Holy Spirit to so fill your heart with My love that My love will evelope all those you see or talk with today. When My love envelopes people, they are changed from glory to glory.

2 CORINTHIANS 3:18

GIVING

When I said, "I have come that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly," I was giving a kingdom principle. The abundance that I supply is in measure to the abundance that you supply others. It is more blessed to give than it is to receive. Giving is living the abundant life. Have you ever seen a happy and blessed person who refuses to give to others who are in need? Selfish people are unhappy people. It was My Father's greatest joy to give Me to provide a perfect sacrifice that would enable all those who believe in Me to receive eternal life and rightstanding with Him.

It is true that life is in the blood and I gave My life's blood for your sake. Your forgiveness was purchased with something more precious than gold. It was purchased with My very life. I laid down My life to give you life and now you are called to do the same for others. Are you willing to lay down your plans, your pleasures, and your possessions to help another in need? When you are willing to give freely to others, you will experience the same joy that I experienced when I freely gave you all.

JOHN 10:10, 3:16; 1 CORINTHIANS 6:20

REFRESH

Times of refreshing come whenever you take a few minutes to pray. I love to hear your praise throughout the day. My Holy Spirit can restore your energy whenever you take time to praise Me. In My presence is fulness of joy and My joy will strengthen you.

So many of My beloved are worn out at the end of the day. One of the tactics of My enemy is to wear out the saints in these last days. Resist this tactic by remaining in praise during the day,
Taking a few minutes to speak My Word out loud will also give you strength. Angels hearken to My Word the moment you give My Word voice. My angels are provided to you to minster to you. Just as they ministered to Me in the Garden, they will also minister to you and refresh you.

PSALM 103

WATCH

I gave two very inportant instructions to My disciples when I knew that I would soon leave them. I told them to watch and pray. I wanted them to watch out for My adversary because they soon would be tempted by him to forsake their assignments in My kingdom. I told them to pray because they soon would face much persecution.

I give those same two instructions to you today. As the day approaches for My soon return, more than ever you have to watch and stand guard against the devil. He would love for you to get off course so that you will not be effective and fruitful in these last days. Prayer is so important also in these last days because your spiritual warfare through prayer avails much.

Be faithful to watch and pray and at the end of time I will say, "Well done My good and faithful servant.

MATTHEW 13

SUNDAYS

Sunday is the first day of the week and Saturday is the seventh day. Saturday is the Sabbath. Some choose to worship on Sunday instead of Saturday. I said that the Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. My Father rested on the seventh day and you will find that by the seventh day of the week that you are also ready for a rest. Today, however, most believers use Saturday to catch up on their house chores and their yardwork.

The celebration of worship on Sundays developed after My resurection. I was resurected on the first day of the week. Many call Sundays "The Lord's Day." Some people dread Monday mornings because they have to go to their work places again. Others rejoice on Fridays because they can look forward to a whole weekend away from work.

My desire is that you rejoice every day. Every day is My day and I have given you the gift of the day. Wake up every morning with a song in your heart. On the very day I was crucified, I sang a hymn from Psalm 118 with My disciples as we left our passover meal. The verses to that song are "This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." Sing that verse every day when you first greet the morning and you will have a blessed day no matter which day of the week it is.

MARK 2:27; PSALM 118:24

DETERMINED

It was determined by My Father that I should die to provide forgiveness and right standing with Him to the whole world. My Father was willing to see Me bruised and beaten to make atonement by My shed blood for your sins. My Father had you in mind when I died. He knew that through My perfect sacrifice for sin, you would be able to stand before His throne without fault and blameless.

I also was determined to finish this assignment to die on your behalf. For the joy that was set before Me, I was willing to die even though I was crushed, bruised, and beaten. Every iniquity, transgression, and sin that has ever been committed in the world was laid upon My body that day. I was touched with the very feelings that sin causes in a person's life. My joy was complete when I rose again from the dead, and I will have even more joy when I return to rule and reign on earth. Your joy can now be full and My joy can remain in you because you have received Me as your Lord and Savior.

LUKE 22:22; ISAIAH 53; HEBREWS 12:2

DECISIONS

When you come to Me for wisdom, it is my delight to give My wisdom to you. I am all wisdom. Talk to Me whenever you are trying to make an important decision. There are always several options when you are about to make a major decision. Write those options out on paper and then present those options to Me in prayer. Also ask Me to confirm from My Word what you think would be the best decision. Share what you believe would be the best decision according to My Word with someone you trust. See if circumstances line up also to confirm what you believe is the right way to go.

I am a detailed God. I know your future and you do not. This is why you should always ask for My input before you commit yourself to a final decision. If you do not have a peace in your heart about the decision you are considering, do not act on that decision. Wait to hear from Me and wait for the seal of My peace within your heart. So many of your Bible heroes made mistakes that affected generations to come when they failed to inquire of Me. Do not lean on your own understanding in decision making and be careful not to do anything in haste.

PROVERBS 3:5-6

SUSTAIN

The sustenance that will sustain you is My Word. I told the enemy when he tempted me to turn the stone into bread that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of My Father. Many believers neglect their spiritual sustenance and when they do, they become weak in the Spirit.

I understand how busy your days are and how much you have to do. However, just a few words from My Word will sustain your spiritual energy all day long. Find a few passages in Psalms or Proverbs to meditate on during the day and you will be surprised at the physical energy you will have during the day.

People usually eat three meals a day. When you are eating your meals, have your Bible open and read a chapter or two from My Word. As you digest My Word, your physical digestion will also improve.

LUKE 4:4

AWARENESS

There are so many things to distract you from being aware of My presence moment by moment. This is why you have to be intentional to seek Me during the day. Of course, I am always with you and My Spirit lives within you.

Take small mini-breaks during the day to just sing a hymn or speak a verse. Whenever My angels hear you give My word voice, they come to attention and are ready to aid you in all of your endeavors during the day.

Stay in thanksgiving and praise during the day, and join the angels as they continually rejoice in My presence. At the end of the day, you will see how I was able to redeem your time so that you could get much accomplished in My kingdom's work.

PSALM 103:20

PATHS

It is so important in these last days for you to walk in the path that I have prepared for you. My enemy will continually seek to get you to veer off that path. I truly am your "Good Shepherd" Who leads you in paths of righteousness for My name's sake. You represent Me as you walk through this life. People are watching you and you truly are a living letter read by many.

Daily allow Me to empower you to speak My words and to do what I lead you to do. My enemy desires to destroy the witness of My followers on earth because he knows that when one believer strays, others are discouraged and lose faith. You are My amabassador and you respresent My Kingdom on earth. What others think of Me often depends upon how you represent Me to them.
Pray daily that you will glorify Me in both word and deed and many will see and come to Me as you lift Me up.

PSALM 23

RECONCILIATION

During your lifetime you will experience times when there seems to be unreconcilable differences between you and someonelse. The truth is that there is no such thing as an unreconcilable relationship. When I gave My life to give you life eternal, I tore down every wall of division. I came to reconcile the world to My Father. I was the bridge of reconciliation that every person can travel to the very throne room of My Father.

I was given the ministry of reconciliation and now you have that same ministry. When you seek Me to help you in your relationships, I can melt every wall of division between you and that person. It is My joy to bring unity to My body on earth. My enemy is in the division business, but I am in the reconciliation business. When My blood was shed to provide the perfect sacrifice that pleased My Father, I provided the way that all things in heaven and in earth could be reconciled to My Father.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:14-21; COLOSSIANS 1:20

OBTAIN

When you obtain something, you gain possession of it. Many believers spend their lives trying to obtain something from Me. They think the more they try to obtain My blessings, the more they will be content. Struggling to obtain from Me is not necessary. It is My joy to give you all the riches in glory that are found in Me. It is My joy to give you My peace, My wisdom, My righteousness, and My love.

When you come to Me, I want you to relax. Quit trying to obtain. Instead, receive by faith all that I want to give you. Open your hands and your heart to receive what I long to give you. You will see miracles happen in your life when you trust Me with all your heart and believe with all your heart that it is My delight to bless you.

LUKE 12:32; ROMANS 14:17

WAITING

I see people waiting in doctor's offices, intensive care waiting rooms, and the front desk of business enterprises. Those who are waiting in doctor's offices may have a health problem or they may just be there for a physical. Those in intensive care waiting rooms may be waiting to hear word about a loved one who is seriously ill. Those at the front desk may be there to speak to the one behind the door about a job or a situation in their employment. They may be waiting to be interviewed for a new job.

During those times of waiting, you have two choices - to wait in My presence which brings great peace, or to wait in your self-presence which brings anxiety and negative thoughts. The choice is yours. I am always present with you, and I want to wait with you. I want to calm your emotions and rest your every care while you are in every waiting season of your life. Turn to Me during those waiting periods, and your waiting time will be a time of receiving wisdom and revelation from My throneroom. Do not dread waiting times because it is during those times that you can hear My voice when you turn to Me instead of having your mind absorbed by your own fleshly thoughts.

ISAIAH 40:31
