ANGELS

I am captain of the heavenly host of angels.  Angels are ministering spirits sent to minister to the saints.  Angels hearken to the voice of My Word.  Whenever you speak My Word, My angels come to attention and they are ready to come to your aid.

Angels are encamped around those who fear Me.  When I walked on Earth, I could have called on a legion of angels to help Me in distressful moments, but My mission was to walk through life even as you walk through life.

Everyone is assigned at least two angels.  There were two angels at My tomb during My resurrection.
Angels are messengers sent by Me.  I want you to be aware of the presence of angels around you daily.  You can ask Me to place a chain-link fence of angels around the vehicles you ride in during the day.  You can ask Me to place a firewall of angels around your pets and possessions daily.  Come to Me and ask Me to do battle for you daily with My mighty host of angels.

CONTEMPLATE

I want you to really contemplate when you read My Word.  My Word is food for your soul.  Some people just gulp down their physical food, and they miss the enjoyment of savoring each flavor.

My Word says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good."  I want you to set your mind intentionally to meditate on My Word as you read it. Nutritionist recommend that people should chew their food at least 30 times before they swallow.  The reason is that when people gulp their food down in minutes, their stomach does not have a chance to signal to their brain that they do not need to eat any more because they are full.

When you meditate on My Word, you are chewing it like food.  You contemplate what message My Word is conveying to you.  When you do this, you will be able to lose the fat of your flesh, and your Spirit will then be able to receive, believe, and activate the delicious and delightful promises in My Word.  My friend David wrote, "How sweet are Your words to my taste! yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

CONSERVE

There are many things on Earth that you are challenged to conserve.  You can conserve energy and money resources.  Often people need to conserve their strength when they are recovering from surgery.

Truly it is wise for people to be conservationists, but often this can lead to selfishness.  One fact that you have to always keep in mind about My character is that I am a giver.  I never had to conserve My personal resources when I walked on Earth because I knew that My Father owned all the resources on Earth.

Saving up for a rainy day sometimes can be wise, but I want you to always trust Me for all that you need in the future.  Only I know what your future holds, and I do have enough reserves in My heavenly bank account to supply all of your needs. My riches are unsearchable.

EPHESIANS 3:16, 8

AUTHOR

I am the author and finisher of your faith.  The first chapter of your book of life began when you were conceived.  At that moment I began writing about your faith in the book of remembrance and the book of your life.

The chapters in your book reveal how you depended upon My faith within you when you went through trials.  Without faith it is impossible to please Me.  Every person born is given a measure of faith, and how that measure grows determines the fruitfulness of his/her life.

I want you daily to grow in faith so that you will have long chapters about how you overcame the worldly temptations and trials through tapping into My faith within you.  You grow in My faith by hearing My Word. Abide in My Word daily and I will have much to read to you from your book of remembrance and book of life when I see you face to face.

REPRESENT

When you elect representatives for your government, you expect them to represent your views and
your passion when they vote on certain issues that are a concern to you.  I have elected you to represent Me on Earth.  You not only represent Me, but you also represent all those who are a part of My body on Earth.

You have been elected to represent My views and My passion.  When you do this well, you are truly being a good representative.  In order to effectively represent My views and passion, you have to submit yourself daily to learn from My Word, and you have to depend upon My Spirit to anoint you to share My passion with others.

When you are aware that you represent Me in the market place, work place, neighborhood and community, and home, you will realize the importance of allowing My Spirit to direct your actions and your speech.  Pray today that you will be a representative who glorifies Me daily.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:20

ESSENcE

The essence of My presence is something you can experience everyday as you yield yourself to Me.  I know that you cannot see Me, but when you are walking in My Spirit, you can feel My presence. You can savor the flavor of the essence of My goodness.  You can also smell the fragrance of My love.

I have given you five senses to experience and enjoy the beauty of not only the Earth where you live, but also  to experience and enjoy My presence.

My Word says, "Taste and see that the Lord is good."  My Word also calls Me the rose of Sharon and the lily of the valley.When you are going through extremely heavy trials, take moments throughout your day to enjoy the essence of My presence with you.  When you do this, you will be strengthened by My joy.

MONEY

Be careful not to allow money to become your idol.  I want you to look at money as just a means of exchange.  An abundance of money or a lack of it should not control your life.  I own the cattle on a thousand hills, so My resources are inexhaustible.

I do want you to be wise in money matters.  My Word clearly says to owe no man anything, but to love him.  I want you to be a generous giver, and this will happen when you ask My Holy Spirit to help you steward your money.

I can supernaturally stretch time, and I can also supernaturally stretch money when you ask Me for wisdom before you make money decisions.  Live with a thankful heart for the money you do have because I am able to multiply what you have when you have a giving heart.

PSALM 50:10; ROMANS 13:8

PLEASANT

People usually want everything in their lives to be pleasant.  They desire to have pleasant relationships, housing, vacation spots, travel, and many other pleasant things.  Life, however, is not always pleasant.  I did promise that in this world you would experience tribulation, but I also said that you could be of good cheer because I have overcome the world.

The way to experience pleasant things in life is very simple.  Stay in My presence moment by moment.  I can lead you to pleasant places even in the midst of heavy trials.  The pleasant places that I lead you to are the still waters and the green pastures of a life lived in My presence and in the power of My Spirit.

Fullness of joy is available to you moment by moment as you stay aware of My presence with you all the day long.  You stay in My presence by abiding in My Word and abiding in My love.  It is a pleasant thing for you to hear My words, and apply your heart to My wisdom and knowledge.

EXPECTATIONS

Often your expectations do not turn out the way you hoped.  Instead of putting your expectations in people and future situations, I want you to put all of your expectations in Me.  That way you will never be disappointed.

When you set your affection on the things above rather than the things on this Earth, you will not have many disappointments in your life on Earth.  When  you will your mind with the things that are just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous and praiseworthy, your heart and mind will be filled with hope for the future.  Hope is the expectation of good.

Stay your mind on Me.  Only I am able to see into your future.  Know that whatever lies ahead of you that I have gone before you, and I can make the rough places smooth.

COLOSSIANS 3:2; PHILIPPIANS 4:8; ISAIAH 26:3 

COLLECT

There are many things that people collect over their years on Earth.  Some people collect valuable books, gold, cars, antiques and other things.  All of those collections require time and often maintenance.  There is one collection that does not require either.

I want you to collect what is eternal in your life.  The other things mentioned are temporal, and you cannot take them with you when you leave this Earth.  I desire for you to collect the promises in My Word.  Memorize My promises, receive My promises, and believe My promises.

Peter wrote that it is through My promises that you can partake of My very divine nature and thereby escape the corruption of this world through lusts.  When you collect My promises in your mind, your mind will be renewed and your life will have an eternal impact on others.

2 PETER 1:3-4

ENTER

I know that there are days when you feel like you are not close to Me.  The things of this world have weighed you down.  One way to escape the world and immediately know the nearness of My presence is to remain in thanksgiving all the day long.

David wrote, "Enter My gates with thanksgiving and into My courts with praise.  Be thankful to Me and bless My name."  I am always near to you, but your thanksgivings and praises to Me help you to be aware of My presence.

Today, when the duties of this world become routine and the projects you are trying to complete frustrate you, take a few minutes and make a list of  the things you are thankful for during the day.  Then begin to praise Me.  Suddenly, you will know the joy of My presence.

PSALM 100:4

CONDUCT

The way that you conduct your affairs expresses your relationship with Me.  I have sent My Holy Spirit to you to help you make wise money, family, and spiritual decisions. You abide in Me, and I am made to you wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

Always ask for My wisdom when you are making important decisions, especially those decisions that involve other people.  When you depend upon My wisdom, you will be able to conduct the affairs or your life in such a way that will glorify Me.

Remember, you are a letter read by those who may not know Me.  Pray today that your behavior even in a crisis that involves others will convey My love and mercy.

1 CORINTHIANS 1:30-31; 2 CORINTHIANS 3:2 

ABSOLUTE

You live in an age when people do not believe in absolutes.  What used to be called sins are now called mistakes. " Right or wrong" have now graduated to "maybe right and maybe wrong."  The truths in My Word are absolute. 

There is no need for value clarification when you are grounded in the truths of My Word.  Reading and heeding My Word with the anointing of My Holy Spirit gives you clear discernment of what is right and what is wrong. 

My Word is able to divide things of the flesh from things of My Spirit.  As you remain in My Word, you will immediately be able to identify what voice you are hearing.  Are you hearing fleshly thoughts, thoughts from My enemy, or thoughts from My Spirit?  Only true disciples continue in My Word, and when you continue in My Word the absolute truths in My Word will set you free.

HEBREWS 4:12; JOHN 8:31-32

PRIVATE

Often when people are asked to share about their faith, they will reply, "That is a private matter."  In most cases, such people do not know where they stand in their faith.  Your faith in Me is not a private matter.  In fact, your testimony of how you came to have faith in Me is powerful, and it needs to be shared.

When sharing your faith with others, I want you to be open and honest.  People can argue about religion, but they cannot argue with or deny a testimony.  When I walked on Earth, I sometimes told those I healed not to tell anyone because My time had not yet come to be revealed as Messiah.  I have been revealed now, and I want you to not keep My good news to yourself.

Pray for opportunities to share My good news with others.  Depend upon My Holy Spirit to lead you to those who have prepared hearts to receive the truths in My Word.  Remember always that faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.  Be a faithful sower of My Word into hearts and pray that My Spirit will break up the fallow ground in the hearts of those who hear My Word.

ROMANS 10:17

REALITY

It seems that in your age people are escaping from reality.  They even watch reality shows to try to face what real life is all about.  Real life on Earth is not easy.  Remember I said that in this life you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer because I have overcome the world.

The spiritual realm is more real than the physical realm, but few people know this.  Paul wrote that we should set our affections on things that are above, not things on this Earth because the things on this Earth are temporal.  I am eternal.

If you are having difficulty facing the reality of problems that lie ahead of you, I want you to focus on these three eternal things: My faith, My love, and My hope.  Do not try to escape reality.  Instead, come to Me with every care, and I will lift whatever burdens are weighing you down.

JOHN 16:33; COLOSSIANS 3:2; MATTHEW 11:28-30;

COMPLETE

You always breathe a sigh of relief when you are able to complete a project that has taken a great length of time. I do not consider you as a project.  Yes, I have heard the saying, "Be patient with Me because God is not finished with Me yet."  However, I do not agree with this statement.

You are complete in Me, and you are not still under construction.  It is true that the fruits of My Spirit are being developed in you throughout your years on Earth, but My Father sees you already as finished because you are complete in Me.

Walk daily with Me with the knowledge that every part of My being dwells within you.  Your earthly vessel contains My Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.  Yield to My Spirit within you, and you will never feel like you lack anything.  I am your all in all.

COLOSSIANS 2:6-15; 2 TIMOTHY 1:7

SURVEY

The ten spies were sent out to survey their enemies who were dwelling in the "Promised Land."  Only two came back with a good report.  This is recorded in My Word in the book of Numbers.  The good report that was given by Caleb and Joshua was that they could easily defeat those who were dwelling in the land God had promised them.

This is the attitude I want you to have as you survey what is going on in the world today.  You see conflict all over the world. You see leaders of nations opening the door to Satan through their own lusts for power.  Wars and rumors of wars are multiplying.

When  you survey the world's condition today, you could easily become discouraged.  However, I want you to be of good courage because I have given you My authority to bind the enemy and to loose My plan instead of Satan's plan for this world.  Use your authority in My name and do your spiritual warfare through prayer.  Your effective prayers can change the condition of your nation and other nations.

NUMBERS 13-14

TITLES

Most everyone loves to have some kind of title either before their name or after their name.  Having a title enhances your acceptability and credibility especially in the age you are living. 

I have many titles.  I am the Prince of Peace, Emanuel, Messiah, and many other titles that are listed in My Word.  The title for Me that I love to hear you speak when you address Me in prayer is "Lover of My soul." 

Truly, I am the "Lover of Your Soul."  I am also the "Bishop of Your Soul."  Whenever you are experiencing the temptation to allow your flesh to win over My Spirit within you, call on Me.  I am the "Bishop of Your Soul," and I am able to bring peace to your mind, calm to your emotions, and My love to your will.  My will was always motivated by My love for My Father and also My love for others. Throughout My ministry, My chief desire was to do My Father's will.  My Father's will is always motivated by His love.  Meditate on these truths today.

FLEE

My friend Paul exhorted Timothy to flee youthful lusts.  Everyone born has three lusts, and these lusts are the open doors that invite Satan's seductions.. 

The three lusts are the lust of the flesh (fulfilling your senses in an obsessive, addictive way); the lust of the eye (greedy longings in your mind and covetousness); and the lust of the pride of life (trusting in yourself and your own resources more than you trust in God).

You are led astray by your own lusts and then you are tempted.    These three lusts are worldly lusts that are fed by worldly entertainment, imaginations, and ideas.  The way to close the doors to these lusts is to resist Satan when you are tempted.  Your righteousness is of Me. Declare this truth out loud whenever you are tempted and My enemy will flee. My enemy can attack your own self-righteousness, but he cannot attack My righteousness.

DELIGHT

I want you to know today that you are My delight.  I know that few people tell  you that, but I felt you needed to hear this from Me today.  I accept you just the way you are, and I love you with an extravagant love.

Soon you will be celebrating Passover and you just celebrated My resurrection.  Those times on the calendar are very special to Me.  However, the day you were born is just as special. 

On your next birthday, think about My singing a birthday song to you.  I do rejoice over you with singing every day, but I especially want you to tune your spiritual ears to hear My song to you on your birthday.

ZEPHANIAH 3:17

PERSERVERANCE

Few of My beloved realize that perseverance in prayer is part of their full armor.  Most know about the shield of faith, the sword of the spirit, the feet shod with the gospel of peace, the loins gird about with truth, and the helmet of salvation.

I am your full armor, but the way to keep in My presence and remain in My full armor is to first hide yourself in Me daily, and then persevere in prayer by praying much in the Spirit.  Prayer is your connection with Me.  Constant communication with Me during the day will shield you from My enemy.

Never give up praying for yourself and others in the Spirit. You persevere when you continue doing something in spite of the difficulty or opposition.  You will encounter much opposition from My enemy, but never give up praying.  When you pray in the Spirit, I draw near to you, and My near presence will keep the enemy at bay.

EPHESIANS 6:18

INTENTIONS

So often My beloved reason in their minds, and they miss obeying the still, quiet voice of My Holy Spirit.  Intentions come from your mind, and if you are walking in My Spirit, the majority of your intentions will be given to you by My Holy Spirit.

Quite often, I hear the expression, "Well, I intended to do something, but I did not follow through.  I want you to be very sensitive to hear those quiet instructions that come from My Holy Spirit in the form of your intentions.  Test what you hear with My Word, and if what you hear is not contrary to My Word, then follow through with those intentions.

Only My Word is able to divide the soul from the Spirit, so it is key for you to stay in My Word daily.  You will then be able to discern whether or not your good intentions are from My Spirit or not.

HEBREWS 4:12

PENETRATE

My Word is like a sharp two-edged sword.  It is able to go into your inner man and divide your soul from your spirit.  It is able to even discern the thoughts and intents of your heart.  This is why I desire for you to not only read My Word daily, but also to allow My Holy Spirit to penetrate My Word deep into your heart.

The word "penetrate" means to enter by piercing, to have an effect throughout or to spread.  My Holy Spirit has the assignment to so fill your heart with My love, that My love will flow easily from your inner man to others.

The word, "penetrate" also means to mentally understand and grasp the meaning of what you hear or read.  When you allow My Holy Spirit to teach you, He will anoint both your physical and spiritual ears to clearly hear My Word, and then you will be able to release My faith within you to help heal and restore others.

RELAX

You live in an age when it is extremely difficult to find time to relax.  Everyone is doing something to entertain themselves through technological devices that are available to you today.  I did not have these distractions when I walked on Earth.

One of My favorite things to do was just to find a quiet spot by the Galilee to rest, relax, and pray to My Father.  The scenery there was beautiful, and I sang praises to My Father along with the birds just as the sun was coming up over the lake.

You do have to be intentional in today's hurried pace to just relax and meditate on My Word and pray.  Make it your goal this week to find that time each day.  All of My beloved can find such a time even if it is in the middle of the day or as the sun comes up or goes down.  After your chores are done, carve out a time when you can just sit in My presence.  You will then be energized by My Holy Spirit and tomorrows troubles will fade away as you cast every care upon Me.

MATTHEWS 11:28-30

EXTRAVAGANT

When you look at the word, "extravagant," the great word extra is in this word.  There are many words used to describe My love, but one of the words I like best is extravagant.  My love towards you is extravagant.  This means that I can lavish you with many extras when you receive My love.

Some of the extras are My peace, joy, patience, self control, grace, gentleness, meekness, faith, goodness, and abundant life.  Who would refuse to receive such extravagant love?  Yet, so many do reject My love.

Pray today for those you know who have refused to receive My love.  Pray that My Holy Spirit will influence them through My Word and through the testimony of others.  Have faith that your prayers will avail much.

GALATIANS 5:22-23

MINISTRY

So many of My beloved look forward to the day that they can have their own ministry to others in My kingdom.  They are waiting until they are free from worldly jobs and responsibilities to start their ministry when they forget that the ministry is in the moment.

No one on Earth has their own ministry.  If laborers feel like their ministry is their own, they have not submitted to My Lordship.  I am the One Who works through laborers, and your duty on Earth is to pray for more laborers who will allow Me to work through them both to will and to do of My Father's good pleasure.

You already have a ministry in My Kingdom.  It is called the "Ministry of the Moment."  When I walked on Earth, I ministered to whoever was in My presence at the time.  Today and every day, understand that the person in front of you in a moment is the exact person I have called you to allow Me to minister to that one through the power of My Spirit.  Pray daily for divine appointments, and you will be amazed at the fruitfulness that will come as you labor in My kingdom on Earth.

PRACTICE

You have to be intentional in order to practice My presence with you during the day.  I love to be included in many of your mundane duties during the day.  This is possible when you simply ask My Holy Spirit to guide you to do the next thing.

I sent My helper to assist you even in the practical things of life.  So often you forget to ask for His help.  My Spirit is My presence with you both within you and outside of you.  Also I have sent My holy angels to minister to you throughout the day.

Sing songs and make melody in your heart to Me while you are performing your duties, and then you will be constantly aware of My presence with you.
