PACK

When I walked on Earth, I never had to concern Myself with packing.  I traveled from place to place with just the clothes on My back.  I had no back pack like most people have now days.  Mary and Martha always washed My clothes when I visited with them. 

I know that every time you are about to go on a journey, you try to make of list of everything that you need to pack.  Then you check off that list.  Instead of doing this, I have a better idea.  I know you are intently trying to hear the voice of My Spirit more each day.

The next time you pack, I want you to listen carefully to the voice of My Spirit within you.  I know what the weather will be like where you are going.  In fact, I know all the surprises that are in store for you.  I want you to just listen carefully as you begin your packing, trust Me, and I will be able to tell you exactly what to pack.  I am concerned about every thing that is a concern to you, and only I am able to perfect all of your concerns.

PSALM 138:8

FAMILY

I attended all of the feasts, but I love the Feast of Tabernacles.  It is a great time for families to gather together under their sukkot to eat their meals with each other for seven days.  I used to look up to the heavens through the thinly thatched sukkot roof.  I knew My Father was looking down from His throne room as My family gathered to fellowship.

I well remember the time when I could not celebrate this wonderful feast with My family.  Jerusalem was all a stir, and many religious Jews sought to kill Me.  My brothers wanted me to go to celebrate in Jerusalem.  Even though they did not believe in Me at the time, they wanted Me to do some miracles for the people.

I told them that I would go later, and I did.  I stood in the shadows as I watched My family enjoying their delicious feast food under their sukkot.  I experienced the loneliness that many rejected people feel.  They often feel that they are on the outside looking in at people who are surrounded by loved ones. Suddenly My presence was revealed to all during the water libation service.  I cried, "If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink!"  I was speaking about the Holy Spirit who could fill their inner beings full of powerful, spiritual rivers of water.  I give the same invitation to you today.  Come and drink from the wells of salvation.

JOHN 7:1-10, 37-39

RESTORE

I know how much you like to see pieces of furniture restored to their original brilliance.  I am in the restoration business.  I also delight to see those who have fallen prey to My enemy restored to fellowship with Me.

It is never to late for a person to repent (change courses in their life).  I have promised in My Word that if you confess your sins, I am faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.

My restoration process is similar to the process used to restore precious antique articles.  First I get rid of the layers of dirt and filth that formed on that precious treasure.  Then I use My refining method to clear away the layers of old patterns of thinking.  Once that cleansing takes place, I am ready then to restore the joy of My salvation and the brilliance of My glory light on that special  treasure (the person who has turned to Me to receive My forgiveness).

1 JOHN 1:5-10

FOLLOW

When you commit yourself to follow Me, I know that you usually have the picture of  My back turned on you as you struggle to keep up with Me..  However, that is not the picture I want you to have.

The true picture that expresses My relationship with you as you take steps to become more like Me is the picture of a loving father who kneels at eye level with his arms outstretched to catch his little child as that child takes steps forward.

The father's instructions are always, "Don' t look at your feet.  Keep looking at Daddy.  I won't let you fall."  I exhort you today to keep looking at Me.  The only way you can keep taking steps to grow spiritually is to not look at your circumstances.  Instead keep your focus on Me.  I want to have eye to eye contact with you all during this day and every day.  My friend David, the psalmist, had the correct picture.  He said, "As for me, I will behold  Your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with your likeness (Psalm 17:15)."

PSALM 5:8; 17:15, 27:8,

DELIVER

I taught My disciples to pray that they would not be led into temptation and that they would be delivered from evil.  My Father tempts no person.  People are led astray by their own lusts.  When you are praying this prayer that I gave to My disciples, you are praying that My Father will protect you form situations that would open the door to your giving into one of your lusts.

Unfortunately, you will have the three lusts: the lust of the flesh (satisfying your five senses in a indulgent, addictive way); the lust of the eyes (covetousness and vain imaginations), and the lust of the pride of life (trusting in yourself and your resources rather than trusting in Me) until you die.

Today receive with thanksgiving the true fact that I am able to guard you from giving into temptation, and I am also able to deliver you from evil by the power of My Holy Spirit.  Rejoice today because I am the way of escape from being overcome with evil.

LUKE 11:4; 1 CORINTHIANS 10:13

PLACES

Over the years, you have been many places and seen many faces.  I lead you to places to see faces and to share my good news with those people.  As you move through your days, always be aware of the faces you see in the places where I have led you to be.

Every morning you pray that I will put you in the right place at the right time.  I am delighted when you pray this prayer because then My Holy Spirit can lead you to those people who have prepared hearts to receive Me as their Lord and Savior.

Be alert for those opportunities I give you daily to share My good news and My love with the faces you see today.

ROMANS 2:19-29

UNSAVED

I know how you pray for many who have not yet come to know Me.  There is a way that you can employ effective spiritual warfare over such people.  The three major spirits that are over such people are the spirit of antichrist, the spirit of doubt, and the spirit of fear.

When you bind those spirits and lose the Spirit of Truth (the Holy Spirit) after you bind the spirit of antichrist, lose the spirit of faith after you bind the spirit of doubt, and lose the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind after you bind the spirit of fear, you will begin to see results.

There is always intense spiritual warfare involved when you are praying for the unsaved.  After binding and losing, begin to thank Me for sending the gift of repentance to those you pray for who are not saved.

1 JOHN 4:3; JOHN 14:17; 2 TIMOTHY 1:7;

RENDER

There were spies sent out to try to trap Me into saying or doing something that would have Me arrested by the Roman officials when I walked on Earth.  They asked Me, "Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or not?"  I then asked them to show Me a penny and then I asked them, "Whose image and superscription has it?"  They answered and said," Caesar's."  I responded, "Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's."

The word, "render" means to surrender a payment.  Everything in this world belongs to My heavenly Father.  Your life, your belongings, and even your beloved belong to My Father.  You are simply a steward of those things that are precious to you.

You belong to Me, and I paid for you with My own blood when I died on the tree.  You are My special treasure, and it was My pleasure to die for you and to pay a debt that I did not owe.  What can you give Me in return?  Render unto Me all the things that belong to My Father: yourself, your belongings, and your beloved.  When you give those precious things to Me, I then am able to take care of them because I am the Master of your household.

LUKE 20:21-25

STILL

I remember the battle you used to have with your young children to get them to sit still in the church services you attended.  They seemed to really act out at the wrong times.  My beloved children are still restless.  They busy themselves with all kinds of computer games and social media. 

Restlessness is a fruit that My enemy really enjoys seeing in those who believe in Me.  My enemy does not want you to learn to still your soul so that you can hear from Me.

I know you faithfully observe your quiet time every morning, but how quiet is your quiet time?  Do  you take time to still your soul so that you can hear what I have to say to you every morning?  I challenge you to begin to spend at least five minutes in silence with your focus totally on Me.    Daily spend some time in quiet and listen for My still quiet voice.  Be still and know that I am God. I have much to tell you.

PSALM 131:2; 46:10

ORGANIZATION

When I walked on Earth, I never had to organize My days.  My Father did the organization for Me.  I got up before the sun came up and I asked Father to lead Me by His Spirit to accomplish the works that He had for Me to do that day.  Then I listened carefully to the still small voice within Me as the Holy Spirit led Me to do My Father's will.

This is a pattern that you can apply to your days.  I do realize that your days are much more complicated than mine were when I walked on Earth.  However, when you commit your will to do My Father's will in a day's time, My Spirit will also speak to you about the kingdom works My Father has planned for you.

When you sit down to organize your day, simply commit all the things that you feel you need to do that day.  Commit those works to My Spirit, and My Spirit will be able to prioritize those works and establish your thoughts, so that you will have a fruitful day.

PROVERBS 16:3

FELLOWSHIP

My heart is grieved when I see so many of My beloved out of fellowship with others in My body on Earth.  It is so important that My beloved realize that they can never experience the fullness of My presence unless they attach themselves to one of My gatherings of believers on Earth.

My beloved John wrote that in order to keep walking in the light, you must have fellowship with those who are in the light.  Otherwise, you will be walking in darkness.

The enemy loves to take advantage of those who have left their churches because they have been hurt.  He can easily pick off those sheep that are not connected to a flock.  Today pray for those you know who are not connected to one of My flocks.  More than ever as the day draws near to My coming, My beloved must not forsake the assembling of themselves with fellow believers.

HEBREWS 10:25

GREETINGS

What you say when you greet people is extremely important.  My friend Paul was an expert at greeting My beloved in his letters to the various churches.  He usually started his letters with this greeting:

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  I thank my God upon every remembrance of you (Philippians 1:2-3)."

You are not aware of it, but I greet you every morning with these words.  I speak grace and peace over you and then I thank My Father for you.  Tomorrow when you have your quiet time, listen for My greeting.  When you intercede for others speak grace and peace over those you lift in prayer and give thanks to Me for them.  Such a greeting during intercession sets My Holy Spirit and My angels to work on behalf of you and all those you lift in prayer.

PHILIPPIANS 1:2-3

NEW

This is the season when My chosen and beloved celebrate the new year.  My Father, however, chose the month of Nisan as the time for the new year.  The month of Nisan is in the spring when new blossoms, new grass, new warmth from the sun begin their new year of beauty. 

The celebration of the Feast of Trumpets actually comes during this season.  The day will come when the trumpet blow will sound and those who believe in Me both dead and living will receive new immortal bodies.  At the end of My 1,000 year reign on Earth, there will be a new heaven and a new Earth.

In the mean time, every day you live should be new to you.  Allow the past to be behind you, and press on to a new closer walk with Me than ever before.  Behold I make all things new.  I provide a new and better way to live each day.  That new and better way can be enjoyed as you abide in Me, My Word. and My love.

JOHN 15

ENTER

I am with you always, but sometimes you have a difficult time feeling and knowing My presence with you moment by moment.  I want to share with you the best way to immediately recognize My presence with you moment by moment.

My Word gives the answer in Psalm 100:4: "Enter into His courts with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him, and bless His name."  .Stay in thanksgiving and praise by singing some of the psalms and hymns throughout the day.  Sing in the Spirit and sing with your understanding.  Give thanks in all things and for all things.  Bless My name by speaking My names that are listed in My Word.  I am Jehovah Jireh, your provider.  Review those names. 

Paul gave these very instructions to teach My beloved how to stay filled with My Spirit (Ephesians 5:19-20).  When you stay filled with My Spirit, we can have Spirit to spirit conversations all the day long.

WAIT/WASTE

Sometimes the answer I give you when you present your requests to Me is to wait.  I know you do not like that answer, but it is during those waiting times that you can draw closer to Me.

Do not waste those precious times of waiting.  During those times, I want you to build your faith by  reading and hearing My Word.  I also want to help tune your spiritual ears to hear My voice more clearly.

Waiting on Me can be an exciting time because it is during those times that I will strengthen you  physically, mentally, and spiritually.  Use those times to stay in continual praise and thanksgiving to Me.  Your praise and thanksgiving to Me demonstrates your faith that I will answer in My timing.

ISAIAH 40:31

ENCOURAGEMENT

My friend Paul wrote that all prophecy was for edification, encouragement, and comfort.  He also said that all believers could prophecy to one another.  Many of My beloved believe that prophecy is to speak of future events.  Sometimes prophecy is for that purpose, but the main purpose of prophecy is to built up or edify the church, not to paralyze My body on Earth with fear.

Today you have the opportunity to prophecy over those you encounter during this day's time.  Pray that My Holy Spirit will give you words of encouragement, edification, and comfort to those you meet today. 

You live in a dying world where many people are hopeless.  You have the good news that will give them hope.  Share that good news today.

1 CORINTHIANS 14:3

RESOLUTE

The actual word, "resolute" is not found in My Word, but I gave it to you this morning because you are living in a time when you and all My beloved need to be resolute in their faithfulness to Me.  A person is resolute when he or she has a fixed, firm purpose and is determined to fulfill that purpose.

Your purpose in these end days is to glorify My Father in heaven.  What you do and what you say as the days draw nigh to My second coming will have the power to affect people's lives for all eternity.

Do not take for granted those opportunities I give you to share My good news with others.  There are many hungry souls just waiting for you to feed them My Word.  You have divine appointments today and every day.  Listen carefully to My Spirit as you are led to speak and to do things that I anoint you to speak and do.

ACTS 17:26-28

CIRCUMSTANCES

You will be faced with circumstances that will trouble you, but you also will be faced with circumstances in life that will bless you.  I said that in the world you will have tribulation and that is because you live in a fallen world.

No matter what circumstances you are facing right now, I am with you every step of the way.  When you go through trying circumstances, remember how I was in the fire with Daniel's friends.  When you walk through the fire, I will not allow you to be burned.

Know with assurance that I can work for good every circumstance in your life because you love Me and you are called according to My purpose.  I will fulfill all that I have purposed to accomplish in your life.  If you stray off the path I have prepared for you, I am your "Good Shepherd," Who will lead you back on the path of righteousness for my name's sake.

PSALM 23:3; JOHN 16:33; DANIEL 3:23-27

CHANGE

I have seen the times that you have prayed that things would change in your circumstances and in the circumstances of others.  You have also prayed that the hearts of others would change.  These prayers are heard, but you might not like the answer.

The answer that I give you is that things may not change the way you would want them to.  The thing that needs changing is your attitude towards those you want to see changed and those situations that you want to see changed.

I am the unchanging God, Who always stands ready to change your own heart.  Your first priority in life is to love like I love.  My love is rooted in forgiveness, mercy, longsuffering, grace, and truth.  Ask Me to change your heart to be more like My heart, and you will have a joyful answer to your prayers.

PHILIPPIANS 4:11-13

REPRESENT

I remember how your mother used to tell you, "Remember dear that wherever you go, you represent our family."  That was good advice.  Her advice prevented you from getting into trouble.  I want to give you the same advice.  Remember that wherever you go, you represent your Holy Family (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).

I want your light to so shine before men that they might see your good works and glorify My Father in heaven.  In fact, the whole purpose of your existence on Earth is to glorify My Father.  I glorified My Father while I was on Earth as His representative.  Now it is your turn to glorify My Father.

You glorify My Father whenever you make His presence known on Earth by what you do and what you say.  Today, look for ways to glorify My Father, and My Holy Spirit will empower you to be the best representative of your Holy Family.

MATTHEW 5:16

BLUEPRINT

There are many blueprints in heaven.  My Father has blueprints for building the kingdom of God on Earth.  There are also individual blueprints for building the kingdom of God in individuals.  The kingdom of God is not meat or drink, but it is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Daily as you submit your will to Me, My Holy Spirit is able to help you accomplish the works that are written in your blueprint for the day.  When your heart is to obey Me, My Holy Spirit will tell you the next thing to do so that by the end of the day you will have accomplished those works that I have designed for you.

Every day, commit your works, your way, and your will to Me, and you will stand amazed at how fruitful your days will be as you seek to help build My kingdom on Earth.

GIFTS/FAITH

Faith is so important because without faith it is impossible to please My Father, and I know how much you want to please My Father.  Another way to give Me the gift of faith is by exercising your faith daily by what you say and what you do.

Faith is never silent.  Faith is always active.  Paul wrote, "The word of faith is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith that we preach; that if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus , and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.

Faith dwells in your heart, and when you confessed Me as your Lord and Savior, My faith indwelled you.  Tap into My today, and manifest My faith by what you say and do.

ROMANS 10:8-10

GIFT/FAITH

I am always pleased when My beloved give Me the gift of faith.  I am concentrating on this one gift because it is vital for you, especially in these last days.  Remember always, that if you feel like you lack faith, you can always ask Me to give you the gift of faith.

My Word says that many will depart from the faith in the last days and that their hearts will fail them because of fear.  Fear is the greatest robber of faith.  As you know, My servant Peter was in great fear when he denied Me three times.  I told him that Satan wanted to sift him like wheat, but that I would pray for him that his faith fail not.

In a moment of fear, Peter did deny Me, but he did not lose his faith.  There will be times in your life when you will ask, "Where are you, Lord?"  It is in those times that you can give Me the gift of faith simply by crying out to Me for help.  Whenever you just call upon My name, you are giving Me the gift of faith.

LUKE 22:31-34

GIFTS/FAITH

The only way that you can receive anything from Me is by faith.  Your desire to grow in faith is a great gift to Me.

Trials that you experience in life will never help you grow in faith.  I know you are asking, "Then how can I grow in faith?"  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.  Does this mean that you have to hear teachings and sermons to grow in faith?  Definitely not. 

I sent My Holy Spirit to speak My Word to you Spirit to spirit.  My Holy Spirit is the great teacher Who can give you knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and revelation as you read My Word.  When you tune your spiritual ears to hear My Holy Spirit teach My Word to you, you will grow in faith.
Today, tune your spiritual ears to My Holy Spirit as you read My Word.  He is the best story teller, teacher and narrator on Earth, and He lives inside of you.
