ASSURANCE

I desire for you to always be assured of My love for you and of your future with Me.  My enemy always seeks to put doubts in your mind.  Faith is based on things that are not seen with your natural eyes.  You see Me with your spiritual eyes.  Rest assured that the day will come when you will see Me face to face.

When you receive the assurance of My presence with you throughout your day even though you do not see Me with your physical eyes, My peace and joy will flood your soul.  I am always face to face with you.  I never turn My back to you.

When you wake up in the morning rest assured that I watched over you through the night and that I will watch over you all through the day.  Remember when your mother used to wake you up by kissing you on your cheek in the morning.  I kiss you every morning even though you cannot feel My kiss.  I always look forward to your day and how I will be glorified through your life during each day.

PSALM 27:8

ONE

I said that My Father and are one.  I prayed that My followers might be one even as My Father and I are one.  When you experience oneness with another, there is no competition.  There is no jealousy.  There is no idolatry.  There is only harmony.

My goal in your life is that you experience oneness with Me so that you can love others even as I love them.  It is humanly impossible for you to love others as I love them.  However, when you depend upon Me to love and to forgive through you, you will experience the miracle of oneness with others.

My love never expects anything in return.  My love is higher, deeper, wider, and longer than any human love.  It is My Holy Spirit Who is able to shed abroad in your heart My love so that you can love others as I love them.  Ask My Spirit daily to fill your heart with My love, and you will respond to people with My love instead of reacting to them with your fleshly emotions.

JOHN 17

STILL

Whenever your soul is troubled, allow Me to still your soul.  I told Peter and My followers to not allow their souls to be troubled.  It is up to you to release your soul to Me whenever you are frustrated, irritated, afraid, or in a turmoil emotionally.  Whatever you release to Me, I will bless.

My enemy wants you to whirl negative thoughts around and around in your mind.  Worry is negative meditation.  Allow Me to lead you by the still waters whenever you find yourself in a pattern of worry. 

My friend David led a life of flight and fight, but he knew how to still his soul.  He wrote: "Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still.  Worry is a sin.  When you stand in awe of My presence with you, your worry thoughts will be washed away by the still waters that I lead your mind to meditate upon.

JOHN 14:1-3; PSALM 4:4; PSALM 23

IMAGINATIONS

I have given you a divine imagination that enables you to worship Me in Spirit and in truth.  When you close your eyes during worship in My presence, you can imagine My Father and Me in the throne room with saints and angels surrounding us. 

When Adam and Even were created, the intent was that their imaginations would always be pure and undefiled.  Sadly, after they chose to disobey My Father's instructions, their imaginations became vain.  Their imaginations became self-focused.

You live in a day when I am restoring those pure imaginations.  Ask My Spirit daily to help you to have divine imaginations throughout your day.  This will help you to be aware of My presence with you continually.

2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-7 

URGENT

After My ascension into heaven, My disciples had a sense of urgency in their spirits.  They felt like I would return soon.  It was that sense of urgency that empowered those early believers in Me to reach out with the gospel to as many nations as possible.

My desire is that My body on earth now would have that same sense of urgency.  Some say that I will return soon and others believe that it will be a long season before My return.  It is not for you to know the day of My return, but you can know the season.  Even I do not know the exact date of My return.  Only My Father knows the time when all that must be accomplished on earth in preparation of My coming has been completed.

I want you to have a daily sense of urgency about My return.  A crown of righteousness is laid up in heaven for all those who eagerly await My appearing.  Live each day as if today might be the day of My return.  When you live this way, you will not be subject to My enemy's attempts to lull you into an apathetic, lazy attitude.  Witness to all you encounter daily because those you share My good news with might not have another chance to receive Me as their Lord and Savior.

2 TIMOTHY 4:8

RESOLUTE

I want you to be resolute as you resist My enemy.  It is true that I do battle for you.  However, angels hearken to the voice of My Word.  Be resolute (determined and unwavering) to speak My Word forth with the power of My Spirit.

You will have situations develop in your life that are difficult, but do not weaken.  Continue to use you spiritual weapons (My blood, My name, and My Word) against My enemy.  I have also given you the keys of the kingdom to bind and to loose.  Bind the demonic forces that would come against you in My blood and command them to go to My footstool where I will deal with them.

First of all, however, submit to Me and then resist the devil.  My Spirit is the One Who will help you continue to be resolute as you faithfully use the weapons of warfare that I have given to you.

JAMES 4:7; 2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-7

RECEIVE

Sometimes it is hard for people to receive.  So many feel like they have to do something in return when they receive a gift from someone.  This is not the case where I am concerned.  I expected nothing from you when you received My gift of salvation.  I gave that gift to you with no strings attached.

When I died on the tree to remove your sins and to present you faultless before My Father, there was a gift exchange.  I exchanged your sins for My righteousness.  This is the season when there will be many gift exchanges.  My gift exchange was simply that I gave My life to you as a gift, and My only requirement for you to receive that gift was faith.

My grace does not require you to give Me something in return for My free gift to you.  My gift of salvation is free to all who will simply receive that gift by faith.  Pray for those you know today who have not received My free gift.

EPHESIANS 2:8

FORGETFULNESS

I understand that as you age that your short term memory begins to fade and that your long term memory seems to increase.  I have neither long term nor short term memory when it comes to remembering your sins.  As far as the east is from the west, so far have I removed your transgressions.  I remember your sins no more.

When I died on the tree, I provided the perfect sacrifice for sin that paved the way for those who believe in Me to have their sins not only covered, but also removed.  Your sins (past, present, and future) are already forgiven. 

Confession of your sins to Me is not to earn My forgiveness since I have already forgiven your sins.  When you make confession to Me of those things that do not please Me, I am then able to help strengthen you to overcome those sins.  I love an humble, contrite heart that comes to Me with the desire to please Me.  Rejoice today because your sins are forgiven and because I can strengthen you to overcome My enemy who tempts you and also your own fleshly lusts.

PSALM 103:12

ENTER

I desire for the My fragrance of My presence and My, joy, peace, and love to fill every room that you enter.  This will only happen if you daily enter into My presence to commune with Me.  I always miss the times when the busy days of your life rob you of time with Me.

I exhort you to spend time with Me every morning.  You especially need those quiet times to receive from Me the energy and guidance that you need as you begin each busy day during this season of joy.

I want you to rest in Me, receive a fresh anointing, and be assured of My love for you every morning before you leave to go out into the world.  As you yield to My Spirit within you, My guidance and wisdom will flow through you all the day long.  Always remember to enter My gates with thanksgiving and into My courts with praise.

PSALM 100:4

TRUTH

My Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.  I sent Him to lead and guide you into all truth.  He will guide you to know the truths in My Word.  In addition, He will help you discern whether or not a person is telling you the truth.

As you read My Word, the Spirit of Truth will help you to know the truth about yourself.  He reveals the areas in your life where you are weak in your flesh.  When this happens, do not feel condemned. The Spirit of Truth only reveals truths about yourself when He knows you are ready to receive My healing in those areas of weakness in your life. I stand ready to heal what He reveals.

Remember always that My strength is made perfect in your weakness.

WELLNESS

So many people in the age that you are living are concerned about their health.  It is true that you have to deal with environmental hazards and new viruses that seem to be discovered daily.  I am concerned about what concerns you.  I have provided something that will help you stay healthy.  That something is my Word.

Feed your soul My Word daily and as your soul prospers so will your health prosper.  My Word is the best medicine that you can take daily.  Preventative medicine is so much better than taking medicine after you are already ill. 

Be consistent in your daily time in My Word and in communication with Me, and you will be protected from many illnesses.  Also allow My joy to give you a merry heart.  A merry heart is excellent medicine.

3 JOHN 2; PROVERBS 17:22

RESISTANCE

I want you to recognize daily that you are in a war.  I know you do not like to think about that, but it is the truth.  My enemy never gives up in his attempts to tempt you.   This is why My Word exhorts you to first submit yourself to Me and then to resist the devil.

Warfare against My enemy will only work if you allow Me to help you resist the devil.  This is why I want you to first submit to Me.  Yield yourself to My Holy Spirit and I will give you the power to win every battle over the enemy.  Truly the battle is mine to fight for you, but you must turn to Me for help.

Resistance against the enemy takes persistence.  Be persistent in reading My Word, communicating with Me in prayer, and using your spiritual weapons against the enemy.  When you do this, you will always have the victory over My enemy.

JAMES 4:7

POWER

Do you realize that you have the very same Spirit that raised Me from the dead within you?
So many who believe in Me do not fully understand the power that actually dwells within their mortal bodies.  If they received this fact as the absolute truth, they would never feel defeated.

My very Spirit abides in you and the anointing of that Spirit abides in you continually.  All you have to do is yield to My Spirit within you. 

Today rejoice because you have dynamite power inside of you.  The victory that will help you overcome the world is the faith to believe that My Spirit within you can overcome every disappointment, discouragement, and depression that you may experience in your life.

ROMANS 8:11

RESIDUE

You are a new creature in Me.  Old things have past away and behold all things have become new.
This is a truth that will help you have victory over your flesh.  My Father commanded My light to shine into the darkness of your heart to give you the knowledge of His glory as you behold My face.
However, you are still an earthen vessel with fleshly lusts.

Fleshly lusts are the residue of your old nature that will remain until you see Me face to face.  The only way My enemy can tempt you to sin is by appealing to one of your lusts - the lust of the flesh (satisfying  your five senses in an addictive, obsessive way), the lust of the eyes (greedy longings in your mind, fantasies, and vain images), and the lust of the pride of life (trusting in your own resources rather than trusting in Me).

I can give you the victory over the residue of your old nature whenever you take captive the tempting thoughts My enemy gives you and give those thoughts to Me.  You cannot overcome your flesh by using carnal weapons.  When you are tempted, speak these words out loud, "My righteousness is of Jesus Christ."  You now have My righteousness, and the weapons My enemy sends you will not prosper.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17; ISAIAH 54:17

DETERMINED

I was determined to do My Father's will while I walked on earth.  This was My top priority.  My battle in the Garden was with the enemy who once again wanted to take My life before the perfect plan of My Father was fulfilled. 

I knew that My Father's will was for Me to provide the perfect sacrifice as an atonement once and for all for the sins of the world.  My determination caused Me to totally give Myself fully into the hands of My loving Father even though I knew the unrelenting pain that faced Me as I offered Myself to die for the sins of the world.

When you know My Father's will, you also can be just as determined as I was to do His will on earth.  Today pray that My Spirit will help you fulfill the will that My Father has determined for you to do moment by moment throughout this day and every day.

MATTHEW 26:37-44

RESPONSE

When you read about My life in My Word, I want you to notice how I responded to certain people.
I dealt with each individual differently.  My Father through the Holy Spirit gave Me the words to say and the actions to take in response to conversations by others with Me.

I demonstrated on earth what it is like to walk in the Holy Spirit and to have communion with My Father.  I was flesh, and I had to battle some of the battles that you face.  However, I never had to battle with lusts.  I was sinless.  I had to depend totally upon the Holy Spirit to help Me respond as Father wanted Me to respond to the various people who I interacted with as I walked the Sea of Galilee and went into the synagogues to teach.

My Spirit will help you as you seek to respond to others in a way that is pleasing to Me and My Father.  Ask His help today as you encounter people and know that your chief goal in every interaction is to communicate My love to others.

2 TIMOTHY 4:2; EPHESIANS 4:29-32

THOUGHTS

You are unique and special to Me.  My thoughts towards you are more than the sands on the sea shore.  They are without number.  I know you sometimes ask yourself how I can know the thoughts of everyone who believes in Me and even the thoughts of those who do not believe in Me.  This seems to be an impossibility to you, but I am omnipotent.  There is no limit to My knowledge.

When you awake in the morning, know with great assurance that I am thinking about you.  I look forward to spending the day with you.  I look forward to hearing your voice and to hearing your heart.  I desire for your thoughts to be centered upon Me throughout the day.

Today take those thoughts captive that are not of Me and give them to Me.  I will then help you stay focused on Me throughout the day.
