CHANGES

Changes happen quickly in life.  We may be moving to Alabama, so it may be a little season before I can get back to writing my blogs.  Until that time I hope you can review some of my former blogs.

One thing we can depend upon, however, is that God is unchanging.  His love for us is unchanging. I pray that you may have a fruitful season in God's kingdom in the season ahead.

Please pray for Tom and me with these changes and that God good plan will go forward for Tom's health.  Thanks so much for being faithful followers of My blog.  We know that all of God's plans are for good, not for evil, to give us a purpose and a hope and an expected end.

JEREIMIAH 29:11

PREPARE

Sometimes it is difficult to prepare for the future since you do not know what the future holds.  Take comfort today.  Even though you do not know what the future holds, you do know Me, and I hold your future in My hands.

Your part in walking in the Spirit daily is just to hear My voice and do the next thing.  Each minute of your life is a gift because without Me you could not even breathe.

Remain in thanksgiving today and allow My Spirit to lead and guide you not only in My Word but also in the next thing to do.  At the end of the day you will see how My Spirit did put you in the right place at the right time.  Preparation for the future simply means giving Me your day.  Commit your way to Me and I will bring to pass My will in your life.

PSALM 37:5

SONGS

Some believers have difficulty staying filled with My Spirit.  The goal daily is to submit yourself, (body, soul, and spirit) to Me.  When you do this, My Spirit will help you to constantly know My presence with you and to receive a fresh anointing.

Paul made it clear how to stay filled with the Spirit.  He wrote: "Be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit: Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord: Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God (Ephesians 5:18-21)."

Sing all kinds of songs to Me and pray in the Spirit today. Take time today to hear Me sing love songs to you.  When you do this, you will stay filled with My Spirit.

Sometimes when you are going through a long trial, you ask Me the question, "Will this ever end?"  You can discover the answer to this question in My Word.

Do you know that My thoughts for you are good, not for evil.  My thoughts are to give you both a purpose, a peace, and an expected end during your trial.  Know that I am in control of time.  You are not.  There is no time or space in eternity, so the important thing to know is that I am with you every minute of every trial.

My plans for My beloved are always good.  Rest assured that I do accomplish My purposes in you and in others whenever you experience a trial.  My goal in every trial is for you to draw closer to Me than ever before.  Keep close to Me, and experience the joy that only I can give you in spite of the length of your trial.

SURPRISE

Surprises can be fun, but sometimes you are not prepared for surprises.  When this happens, I want you to ask My Holy Spirit to help you accept the surprises (good or bad) with grace.

You can accept every surprise with grace when you daily remain in thanksgiving.  My grace abounds to you with thanksgiving, and My grace is always sufficient to get you through unprepared surprises.

I want to encourage you today and everyday to give thanks not only for everything, but in everything.  This way, you will always be prepared for any surprise that may come your way.  Keep in mind also, that nothing ever takes Me by surprise.
