LAST

As you enjoy this last day of the year, I want you to look back over the year to see how My strong right hand helped you.  Also think about the things that My Holy Spirit revealed to you as you read My Word.  Think about the precious family and friends I have given you and how I also have been directing their steps.

One of My kingdom teachings was that the last shall be first and the first last.  In this coming year, I want you to so completely surrender to Me that you are constantly esteeming others higher than yourself. For an example, instead of becoming impatient when drivers break in front of you when you are in a long line of traffic, pray for that driver.  He probably is in a hurry for a good reason.

Being willing to be last in line means that you are willing to serve others with a joyful heart.  You are a king and priest in My kingdom.  However, remember that I came to serve, not to lord it over others.

MATTHEW 20:16; PHILIPPIANS 2:3-4; LUKE 22:25-27

CONSISTENT

Resolutions to read My Word through in a year are usually made by My beloved at the beginning of a new year.  Many are successful in keeping this resolution.  However, others have difficulty keeping this resolution.

I told My disciples that they would know the truth and the truth would set them free if they faithfully continue in My Word. Ask My Spirit, Who is the Spirit of truth, to help you set apart a time every day to read My Word.  Ask Him to help you not only understand My Word, but also to apply what you learn in your every day life.

I believe that with the help of My Spirit that you will be able to fulfill your commitment to be consistent in your Bible reading this year.

JOHN 8:31

WRAPPING

By now all the Christmas wrappings are either folded neatly to be used again or thrown into the fire or the trash.  I was a gift to the world that was wrapped in special wrappings.

When I was born, Joseph and Mary wrapped Me in swaddling cloths and laid Me in a manger.  Just before I died on the tree to take away the sins of the world, the Roman soldiers mocked Me and wrapped Me in a purple robe.

After My death, I was wrapped in linen grave clothes.  When I rose again from the dead and went to My Father,  I was wrapped once again in My Father's glory.  Today I want to wrap you in My arms of love. Because of My sacrifice, you are also wrapped in My glory and can glorify Me by wrapping your arms of love around others.

LUKE 2:3; JOHN 17:22-23

DOUBT

My enemy relentlessly sends you thoughts of doubt.  When you hear the, "What if's," or you hear the question: "Is what you believe true?" and other similar thoughts, discard such thoughts immediately and consider the source. My enemy wants you to believe that your faith is not strong and that is the reason why you have questions and doubt.

Your faith is always strong and will never fail when you stay in My Word.  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.

Remember always that My faith dwells within you.  Whenever you doubt. take those thoughts captive and give them to Me.  Then thank Me for filling your inner man once again with a fresh anointing of My faith.  My faith within you will dispel every doubt.

ROMANS 10:17; GALATIANS 2:20-21;

IMPATIENCE

During all the rush after this season and the preparations for the New Year, it is so easy to become impatient.  I recognize that your "TO DO" list is overwhelming, but I have sent you "The Helper" (My Holy Spirit) to help you get things done. Just ask My Spirit to tell you the next thing to do.

Ask Me to put you in the right place at the right time because timing is so important.  I have divine appointments for you daily and I do not want you to miss any.  Ask My Holy Spirit 'to fill your heart with My love.

You are My ambassador on Earth, and I want you to be careful not to become impatient with those you love and also with any people you may encounter in a day's time.  Just keep in mind that every person is a precious treasure to Me and treat them as such.

PSALM 37:5; PROVERBS 16:3; 2 CORINTHIANS 5:20

HUMAN

I know that even this day after your celebration of My birth that it is hard for you to imagine that My Father entrusted Me to human beings who have human failings and feelings.  He chose Mary and Joseph to be My parents. 

I had to be born an infant so that I could identify with fleshly human beings.  I am both human and divine. Because I lived on Earth in human form, I understand all of your weak areas. I was touched with the feelings of your infirmities.

Even more amazing is that Father has now entrusted My very Spirit to dwell within human beings who can fail.  Never forget that the same Spirit that raised Me from the dead dwells within you and can quicken (life) your human body. Give thanks today for this wonderful plan of redemption.

HEBREWS 4:15; ROMANS 8:11

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

"Happy Holidays!" is the usual greeting during this season which celebrates My birth.  A new response that you could give to those who give this greeting to you is "Happy Holy Days."

This season celebrates with gifts, parties, and shopping, but I desire these days to be days spent in My presence.  Even though I was not born on December 25, Christmas is a time when at least most people all over the world are focused on Me.

Do not miss your times in My presence during this busy season.  Worship and praise Me during your times with Me and even sing Christmas hymns to Me.  Listen to the words because most of these hymns exalt Me and tell the whole story of My Father's plan of redemption.

LEVITICUS 26:18-19

ORNAMENTS

Many people collect ornaments every year to adorn their Christmas trees.  Those ornaments usually bring back memories of other times when families experienced My love in special ways.

I have made you a tree of righteousness through the blood I shed for you on the tree when I exchanged your righteousness which was as dirty rags for My righteousness which is pure and clean.

Today and every day I want to adorn you with My grace.  Solomon wrote these words: "My son, hear the instructions of your father, and do not forsake the law of your mother,  for they will be a graceful ornament on your head and chains about  your neck." When you obey My Father's will and walk in His love, I adorn you with the ornament of My grace (THE ABILITY TO DO SUPERNATURALLY WHAT IS IMPOSSIBLE IN THE NATURAL).

ISAIAH 61:3; PROVERBS 1:8-9

REFRESH

My Holy Spirit has the assignment to refresh you.  Times of refreshing will come to you when you take time daily to allow My Holy Spirit to pray through you.

My half brother, Jude, wrote these words: "But you beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

Times of refreshing come when you spend time in the presence of the Lord.  My servant Paul knew the secret to staying strong in Me.  He wrote these words: "I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding.  I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding."
Pray much in the Spirit during this season and you will have added strength.

JUDE 20; 1 CORINTHIANS 14:15

ATTACKS

It seems that during this season My enemy plans attacks in an attempt to rob My beloved of the joy of this season.  Be aware that you are always in a spiritual battle.  My enemy is relentless in his strategies to discourage and to oppress and depress My beloved.

However, you can rejoice because I am more relentless to do warfare for you.  Release your battles to Me instead of trying to do things in the flesh.  Remember that  your weapons of warfare are not carnal.  They are mighty through Me.

Use your weapons of prayer, declaration of My Word, and My name and the declaration of what My blood has won for you.  My shed blood has accomplished sure victory over sin and Satan.

2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-6

GIFTS

The kings from the East brought gifts to Me.  They brought gold, frankincense and myrrh. Little did they know that one day all those gifts would represent My death, burial and resurrection.

The gold represents My blood that is more precious than gold.  Gold reflects light and I am the light of the world.  My perfect sacrifice was a sweet smelling savor to My heavenly Father because it took away the stench of sin.

Myrrh was used as an ointment to prepare My body for burial. I was only in the grave for three nights and days when the Holy Spirit resurrected Me from the dead.  REJOICE!! You will also be resurrected!!

MATTHEW 2:11

STAR

A star led the kings from the East to see Me.  They presented gifts to Me.  When you look at the stars tonight, I want you to think about Me.  I am the bright and morning star.  The gifts you can give Me are your praise, worship, and thanksgiving.

You no longer need stars to lead you day by day.  I am your good shepherd who will lead you in paths of righteousness for My name's sake.  Look to Me daily and call upon the help of My Spirit to tell you the next thing to do.

I know it is hard for your mind to grasp the galaxies of stars and planets in My universe. I am the living word who spoke and the whole universe was formed.  Yet, I know the very number of hairs on your head.  You are the most important gift to Me.  Today offer your body to be used by Me to bring glory to My Father.

2 PETER 1:19; MATTHEW 2:2,10; PSALM 23;

PEACEFUL

This season should be a peaceful time to meditate on My love and grace towards mankind.  Instead it is a hustle and bustle time of shopping and parties.  The demands at Christmas time, especially for the woman in the house, are overwhelming.

I have a secret, peaceful place that you and all My beloved can go even in this busy season.  As you pray about everything on your "TO DO LIST" and your "GIFT LIST,"  I have promised to mount guard over your heart and mind with My peace.

Use this season as a time to even be in more communication with Me than ever.  Make your requests to Me with thanksgiving and My Holy Spirit will lead and guide you to do the next thing. With My grace you can get everything that is needed done.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7

PLACE

I shared with My disciples that I was going to prepare a place for them.  That place was My eternal home for them.  I not only have a place in heaven prepared for you, but I also go before you to prepare places for you to be each day.

I appreciate the fact that you pray daily, "Lord, put us in the right place at the right time."  You have experienced so many divine appointments that I prepared for you on many days. 

Once you have committed your day and your way to Me, then listen carefully to My Holy Spirit.  He will tell you the next thing to do. What joy I have when I see you keep those divine appointments.

JOHN 14:3

SOUNDS

The sounds of this season are similar to the sounds in heaven.  You hear bells ringing on almost every corner as you shop for your Christmas gifts.  There are bells in heaven.  Those bells ring to announce a new arrival into My heavenly realm and when someone is saved on Earth.. The angels rejoice then.

You recall your mother's heavenly visit just after she had her stroke.. She shared what she was hearing and seeing while your family gathered around her bedside. 

She heard bells chiming together in perfect harmony.  Then she saw Me standing in front of a beautiful crystal lake. I read from her book of life. I called her by name and told her that it was not her time yet. She returned to live four more years on Earth.  Your appointed time to reach My heavenly realm is also written in your book of life.  Trust Me to help you make that appointment right on time.

PSALM 139:16; HEBREWS 9:27

WHITE

I observe that the whole Earth has been decorated with red and green during this season when people celebrate My birth.  I love to see this because these colors can represent My life on Earth, not just My birth.  The red can represent the blood I shed when I died on the tree to exchange the self-righteousness of mankind for My righteousness.

Most people cut down evergreen trees and decorate them with many colored lights and ornaments.
Evergreen trees remain green through every season. Those evergreen trees can represent My unchanging, extravagant love that My Father offered to the world through My perfect sacrifice.

The winter snows dress those evergreen trees in white, and this can symbolize the cleansing power of My blood.  "Though your sins may be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow."  Celebrate this season, and thank Me for My love that knows no season.  It is eternal.

JOHN 3:16-17; ISAIAH 1:18

DREAMS

Dreams play an important part in My Word.  Joseph was told in a dream to return to Israel from Egypt when Herod died.  Joseph, the son of Jacob, was told in a dream that one day he would rule over his brothers.  When he told that dream to his brothers, they became jealous and tried to kill him.

When you experience dreams that seem to be revelatory, it is wise to consult My Spirit to find out if He would have you share the dream with others.  The same is true about any revelation that you feel you have received from My Spirit.

Often My enemy can give false revelations to you, so you must check those revelations out in My Word.  In most cases, when revelation knowledge is given to you, those revelations are given so that you can know how to pray more effectively.

MATTHEW 2:12

SUPPORT

The word, "support," means to keep from falling, slipping, or sinking, and to steady something or someone.  When  you are going through a trial, I am the One who will help you to be established and steady in faith.

I am face to face with you, and I have My arms outstretched to catch you if you start to fall.  When you are tempted to slip into a pattern of doubt and worry, I will give you the gift of faith as you cry out to Me, "I believe, help my unbelief."

When you have those sinking feelings in your emotions, I will infuse you with My joy.  My joy will give you the strength you need to endure whatever trial you are experiencing.  Remember that you live by My faith within you, when your own faith wavers.

MARK 9:24; GALATIANS 2:20

RUSH

This is the season when people are in a rush.  They rush to the stores to get the bargains.  They rush on the highways to see friends and family during these holidays.  They put a rush order on the items they buy through the computer.

I was never in a rush when I walked on Earth.  When I heard that Lazarus was sick, I was not in a rush to visit his sisters, Mary and Martha.  I had to wait until the day My Father ordained for Me to arrive at their home.  My Father wanted to reveal His resurrection power through Me.

You have that same resurrection power in you.  Do not be in a rush during this season.  Instead, wait patiently to hear My Spirit's instructions moment by moment.  When you do this, you will have many divine appointments each day.

JOHN 11:1-11; ROMANS 8:11

INTERESTS

A question that people often ask people who they meet for the first time is: "What are your interests?"  People usually reply to this question by sharing their hobbies or something about their jobs or families..

If I were asked this question when I was on Earth, I would reply, "My only interest is doing the will of My Father."  When doing My Father's will is your main interest in life, you will live a blessed life. I discovered My Father's will by spending time communicating with Him and also reading His Word.

David, the psalmist wrote, "I made haste, and delayed not to keep Your commandments."  I told My disciples that if they loved Me, they would keep My commandments.  The highest form of worship is doing My Father's will.  Let this be your main interest today and every day.

PSALM 119:60; JOHN 14:15

ABS0LUTE

You live in a day when people do not accept the fact that there are absolutes.  Children are being taught that decisions can be made according to personal values, not the values that are in My Word.  So many have forgotten that the laws in your country originate with My ten commandments.

My Word is the absolute truth that gives direction, instruction, and correction throughout the course of a person's life.  However, few consult My Word to find help for their daily living.

Pray for your public education system that forbids the teaching of My Word to children.  Of course, it is up to parents to teach My Word to their children.  The lawlessness that you are experiencing in this age is because My Word is ignored.

2 TIMOTHY 3:16

RETURN

After this season of gift giving is over, many rush to the stores to return gifts that they felt they did not need.  There is one gift, however, that is so valuable that you would never consider returning it.
That gift is the one My Father gave to you when His overwhelming love for mankind caused Him to send Me to take away the sins of the world.

The gift My Father sent on the day I became flesh and dwelled among you for a little over three years is a gift that keeps giving.  All those who have received Me as their Lord and Savior have been made righteous through My perfect sacrifice.

The exchange of My righteousness for mankind's self righteousness is a gift that you will never want to exchange.  Today rejoice because you have received the gift that will keep giving for all eternity.

JOHN 3:16-21

CLOSE

The word, "close," can be used as a verb that means "to shut up something" or to "shut away." It can mean to "bring to an end."  It also means "to draw close to someone or something."

You are at the close of this age.  I told you in My Word that you could know the season of My second coming, but not the hour.  Only My Father knows this. However, I know that you see the signs that Matthew recorded in his gospel.

As this age comes to a close, I want you to draw close to Me.  The less space that you leave between you and Me, the better.  Of course, I dwell within you.  The way to tap into My Holy Spirit and His power within you is to do three things: abide in Me (shut yourself away with Me daily); abide in My Word (read and heed My Word daily); and abide in My love (daily ask My Holy Spirit to fill your heart with My love so that you can demonstrate My love to all those who are close to you).

MATTHEW 24; JOHN 15

CONSISTENT

I want you to be consistent in your faith.  My enemy will always try to bombard you with thoughts of doubt and worry.  Take your thoughts captive to Me when this happens.

A double-minded person cannot expect to receive My wisdom or any thing from Me.  When you ask Me for wisdom, believe that you will receive My wisdom because it is My joy to give it to you.  However, you will have to listen carefully to what My Spirit tells you as you go through your journeys of faith.

What will help you the most to be consistent in your faith is to be consistent in reading, meditating, and memorizing My Word.  Faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.  If you feel like you lack enough faith, recognize that My very faith dwells within you.  Tap into My faith.

2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-6; JAMES 1:6-7

DISMAY

When you look at the stories of the patriarchs and the apostles, you will see that they all had many opportunities to be dismayed.  I always was able to give them a word that would deliver them from that vulnerable position of dismay.

Whenever you are dismayed, the enemy will come in and give you all kinds of worry, fearful, and doubtful thoughts.  Quench his fiery doubts by speaking the words that I gave to Isaiah.

The words I gave to Isaiah were: "Fear not,  for I am with you: be not dismayed: for I am your God.  I will strengthen you: yes, I will help you.  I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.  Behold all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing: and those who strive with you shall perish.  You shall seek them, and shall not find them: even those who contended with you:  those who war against you shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.  For I the Lord your God will hold your right hand saying to you, 'Fear not: I will help you."

ISAIAH 41:10-12

CHALLENGE

We all face challenges in our lives.  I had many challenges when I walked on Earth.  What helped Me the most during those times of challenge were My talks with My Father.  I would get alone with My Father before day break and talk with Him about the day.

My talks with My Father were encouraging.  He knew what I would face each day.  Some people forget that I am human as well as divine.  I came in the flesh to show My beloved how they also could face challenges.

After My talks with My Father, I listened carefully to the Holy Spirit Who was always faithful to tell Me the next thing to do.  I only did what My Father had ordained for the day, and I only said what My Father wanted Me to say as I made My journey through the day.  I was careful just to take one day at a time. My mode of operation when I walked on earth is the same mode of operation I want you to instigate,

MARK 1:35

ENCOURAGE

Look at the word, "encourage."  The word, "courage" is in this word.  I have sent My Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth.  He knows the Scriptures in My Word that will encourage you when  you need courage as you go through a horrific trial.

Ask My Spirit to lead you when you go through trials.  He will be able to give you the words from My word as you wait in silence for His guidance.

Joshua and others in My Word were told to be of good courage when they faced what seemed to be an unsurmountable trial.  Remember that you are more than a conqueror as you trust in Me.

I ask for your prayers.  Tom has been diagnosed with cancer.  We see the cancer specialist this Tuesday.  Please keep us in your prayers.

JOSHUA 1:9; ROMANS 8:37

ATITUDE OF GRATITUDE

Thanksgiving is a time when most everyone in America turn their thoughts heavenward to thank Me for their blessings as they enjoy a luscious meal.  There are many, however, who do not have family or food.

Pray that many of these homeless people will find their way to a table filled with food and a place where they will feel My love.

My prayer for you today and all of your loved ones is that you will know My presence so strong in your lives in this coming year that everyday will be a day when you have an attitude of gratitude, not only towards Me, but also towards all you encounter day by day.

PSALM 105:1-5; 106:1-2; -107:1-2; 118:1,29; 136:1-4; 1 THESS, 5:18; EPHESIANS 5:20

FAMILY

You are in the season when families gather together to give thanks to Me.  I love to see families enjoying their times with one another because I am a family God.

Before I ever was born on Earth, I was with My Father in heaven.  My Holy Spirit was also with us.  When you look at the role of Me, My Father, and the Holy Spirit, you will see how we are very much like a family.

My Father begot Me, and it was My joy to add many people to our family.  Those who believe in Me are joint heirs with Me.  After I left Earth, I sent My Holy Spirit to be with My family on Earth..  He fulfills the role of a mother.  He is a teacher, an encourager, a comforter, and a nurturer.  Tomorrow when you give thanks with your family around the table, give thanks to Me for being a part of our family.

JOHN 3:16

PAVILION

I dwell in the midst of your praises to Me.  When you praise and give thanks to Me, you form a spiritual gazebo around you.  .

The strife of tongues that fills the worldly atmosphere will be silenced.  In those silent moments wait upon Me.  Ask Me to give you a Scripture to read.  Then allow Me to minister to you My love.
Few believers take that opportunity to sit with Me in this beautiful pavilion.

If your spiritual eyes were opened, you could see a white pavilion with benches cushioned with white sateen pillows.  The garden around you is laced with colorful flowers embroidered on lush, green grass.  During this busy season,  I invite you to come to this pavilion every morning.  Here you will receive My strength for all that you have to do each day.

PSALM 31:20

DEFINE

People often define others by their past.  I never want you to do this.  When people commit their lives to Me by accepting Me as their Lord and Savior, old things are past, and all things become new.

Every person you meet has a story that they could tell about some things in their past that they would rather you not know about.  If you discover those past things that would define that person in a way that is not godly, I desire for you to not repeat those things.  Everyone has to tell their own story.

In the future as you look at people, pray that you can define them as I define them.  I define them as precious treasures who I seek to wrap in My love.  Others will see My love through you when you see people through My eyes.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

KIND

I created all kinds of species when I created the world.  The variety of sea creatures, mammals, insects, and other species are innumerable. When I created mankind, he was unique.  He is the only kind of mammal that can have continual, verbal communication with Me and others..

You encounter daily many kinds of human beings.  I recognize that there are some humans that you would never like to encounter like those who want to do you harm.  However, I exhorted you in My Word to bless your enemies and to do good to those who persecute you.

This is a tall order, and is something that you cannot do without the help of My Holy Spirit.  Today as you meet various kinds of people, I want you to be kind to them even when they are not kind to you.
Your communication with people always should be kind (forgiving others even as I have forgiven you.)

GENESIS 1 -7;  MATTHEW 5:44; EPHESIANS 4:32

LESSONS

All of life's lessons are in one book.  That book is My Word.  I would challenge you to read through the Bible in a year, and then write down all the life lessons that you have learned.

Reading the Bible and discovering those life lessons is worthy.  However, if you do not apply those lessons to your life, you will not benefit.  You can have all knowledge, but if you have no understanding of what you have learned, you will never experience My wisdom.

Wisdom is applied knowledge.  My wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. I want you to walk in My wisdom today.  Ask My Holy Spirit to give you understanding as you read My Word, and then ask Him for the power and anointing to obey My Word.

JAMES 3:17

OVERWHELM

You are entering a busy season, and sometimes I know you feel overwhelmed.  During this season, I want you to employ My Holy Spirit to be your "Helper."  In fact, I have given you My Spirit to guide and direct you every moment of the day.

I want you to listen carefully, moment by moment, to My Spirit as He tells you the next thing to do.  I have heard the saying, "Inch by inch, it is a synch. Mile by mile, it takes a while." I want you to live in the moment because faith can only work moment by moment in your life.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.  Your top priority this season is to listen to the voice of My Spirit, and you will be able to tap into the supernatural help of My Spirit. As you commit your day and your works to Him in the morning, He will overwhelm you with My peace and joy  moment by moment.

HEBREWS 4:16; 13:6, PSALM 37:5; PROVERBS 16:3

REVISE

When plan A fails, you usually have a plan B.  This means you will have to revise your first plan to fit the circumstances that you are now facing. 

I have a plan for your life, and there is no plan B.  Your days are written in your book of life and even all the works that I created for you to do are also written there. You cannot revise My plan, but you can go your own way instead of My way each day because I have given you free will.

My plans for you are for good, not for evil, to give you a purpose and a hope and an expected end.  Today pray that you will be on the same page that I am reading in your book of life.  There are many chapters yet to finish in your life.   Yield to My Spirit daily, and He will accomplish through you every good work I have planned for you.

JEREMIAH 29:11-12

POSITIVE

Most of us want to have positive things said about us, and we want positive answers to our prayers. However, if we are awaiting a doctor's report on a biopsy, our hope is that the results will prove negative instead of positive.

The promises in My Word are never negative.  They are all "yes" and "amen" through Me.  The key is that all the promises in God's Word are meant to give positive results when the conditions for these promises are met.

There are some promises in My Word that are not conditional.  The promise that whatever you shall ask My Father in My name, He will give it to you is conditional.  The conditions required of you are that you daily abide in Me, abide in My Word, and abide in My love by keeping My commandments.  I want you to position yourself daily to receive all of My promises by fulfilling these conditions.

2 CORINTHIANS 1:20; JOHN 16:23

DESIGN

I have designed you to have fellowship with Me daily.  When you miss your times with Me, you miss what I have to share with you.  You miss the time to share your praises and love with Me.  Those days that you miss your fellowship times with Me cause you to be open to influences of this world.

I designed Adam and Eve to walk with Me in the garden, to hear My voice, and to be in constant communion with Me.  When sin entered the world that fellowship was broken.  The good news is that I came to redeem all that was lost when sin entered the world.

I have designated you to enjoy fellowshipping with Me daily.  The design of your day includes coming to Me with every care.  Remember, I can perfect all that is a concern to you. I designed you to have a carefree day, so today release every care to Me, and you will experience all the joy and peace that I have designed for you this day.

PSALM 138:8

DEGRADE

My adversary's plan has always been to degrade My heavenly Father.  He seeks to corrupt in quality the moral character of My Father.  He was successful in this strategy when he convinced  Adam and Eve to believe that My Father was withholding something good from them.

Satan continues to try to degrade and dishonor Me, My Father, My Holy Spirit and My beloved through false reports and accusations.  He is the accuser of the brethren. When this tactic is used against you or those you love, speak the truth to counter the lie.

The truth that I want you to speak is that your righteousness is of Me, and no weapon My enemy sends your way will prosper.  Condemn his words of accusation, and remember that I am your advocate.  I will then be able to bring to light the truth.

REVELATION 12:10; ISAIAH 54:17;

EAGER

I want you to be eager to do My will.  The word, "eager," can have a positive or negative connotation. The negative connotation used as a verb means "to be impatient or anxious."  I never want you to be anxious or impatient to do My will when you daily yield yourself to My Holy Spirit..

I want you to desire keenly and to be enthusiastic to do My will day by day.  Expect to be led by My Holy Spirit moment by moment during the day. Expect My Spirit to put you in the right place at the right time to have divine appointments.

Expect that My Holy Spirit will fill your heart so mightily with My love that My light of love within you will flow naturally and powerfully through you to others.  They will see My good works through you and glorify My Father in heaven.

MATTHEW 6:22

REVIEW

One of the key ways to pass a test is to keep reviewing the notes that you took in class.  It would even be helpful to memorize some of the key points and also to speak those key points out loud.

I want you to use those same tools that help you pass tests in school when you are going through a major test of your faith.  There are many reasons for tests in your life.  One of the main reasons is that you live in a fallen world that causes much tribulation.  I promised that in the world you would have tribulation, but be of good cheer because I have overcome the world.

When your faith is tested, review what has been written in My Word about whatever test you are experiencing.  For example, if you are having a financial test, read. memorize, and mutter those promises out loud, and you will pass that test of faith. One third of My Word concerns money.

PROCEED

After medical procedures, you usually do not know how to proceed with any treatment.  The first thing that I want you to do is to seek Me for wisdom and revelation knowledge.  I am all wisdom.  I know every inch of your body, and I know exactly how you should proceed.

Rest assured that as you daily commit your body to Me as a living sacrifice that I take charge over your body.  I always want you to be in health and prosper even as your soul prospers..

Trust Me, and try not to lean on your own understanding when a diagnosis is given that could cause you to be anxious.  Remember the instructions My servant Paul gave: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests known be made known to Me.  When you faithfully do this, My peace will mount guard over your heart and mind .

3 JOHN 1; PROVERBS 3:5; PHILLIPIANS 4:6-7 

PRESENT

The word, "present," can mean many things.  When this word is used as a verb, it usually means to present a problem or a teaching or even an interview.   It can mean that someone is present with you.  It can also mean a gift.

The word, "present," is a good word to describe My activity in your life on Earth.  I am always present with you.  You are a present (gift) to Me.  Everyday I present My Word to you for encouragement, exhortation, and edification.

Today when you think about this word, I want you to focus on Me and how much I love you.  My Father gave Me as a present to you so that you in turn can present the gospel of My kingdom to many.  The day will come soon when I will present you faultless before My Father in heaven.

2 PETER 1:12; JUDE 24

PROSPECT

Employers are always looking for good prospects who might fill the needed positions that they have available.  I also am looking for good prospects to fill the needed positions in My kingdom on Earth.

You might think that I did not do a very good job when the first prospects I chose were uneducated fishermen and a tax collector.  However, I was able to see their potential.  I knew that once they were filled with My Holy Spirit, they would be able to fulfill the calling I had placed on their lives.

I am presently looking for more prospects to fill the positions in this last great harvest.  Pray for more laborers, and be on the look out for prospects for kingdom work.  I will help you see the potential in the individuals I have chosen.

MATTHEW 9:37-38

FRUSTRATION

Frustration is a form of pride.  You desire to get something done, and nothing is working out, so you become frustrated.  You are stuck in traffic and are going to be late to an appointment, and you become frustrated.  You find out a medical diagnosis that is not good, and you become frustrated because you have no control.

Look at how many times the word "You" appears in the above scenarios.  To avoid frustrating moments, trust every moment of your day to Me.  When you do this, I am in control, not you.
I
Trust Me to go before you moment by moment, and My peace will invade your soul.  Your thoughts will be on Me and My plans for you rather than yourself and your own plans.

PROVERBS 3:5-6

ORIGiN

So many scientists have researched the origin of life.  There are many theories about when life was created on Earth.  This research can easily cease, if these scientists and others who have their theories would just read My Word.

I am life.  There is no life without Me.  When God created the world, He said let there be light even before the sun, moon, and stars were created to provide light for the Earth.  I am the light of the world and I am the life of the world.  I was present when Earth was created and I was present before the foundation of the Earth came into being.

At the end of time, My glory light will fill all the Earth.  Until that time, I have chosen you to be a light shining in the midst of this dark world.  My glory light resides in you today.  Let Me shine through you to everyone you encounter today.

GENESIS 1-2; JOHN 8:12

TRUTH

People who are about to get on the witness stand are usually asked to place one hand on the Bible and to raise the other hand heavenward as they swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth so help them God.

Many are teaching that there are no absolute truths.  You are also living in a day when there is so much fake news that you simply do not know what to believe.  There is only one absolute truth.

I said that "I am the way, the truth, and the life."  Placing your hand on the Bible and raising one hand heavenward will not guarantee that you will tell the truth.  However, if you open your Bible and meditate on its truths, you will be able to speak the truth in love to all you encounter today.  As you read your Bible, put one hand heavenward as a sign to Me that you yield yourself and your day to Me.

JOHN 14:6

TOTAL

You live in a day when people are teaching that there are no absolute truths.  You are also experiencing fake news, and sometimes you just do not know what to believe. There is only One absolute truth. 

I said that I am the way, the truth, and the life. Placing your hand on the Bible and swearing to tell the truth will not guarantee that you will tell the truth.  However, when you open your Bible and receive the truths in My Word, you will be able to speak the truth in love to everyone you encounter today.  Open your Bible today and mediate on My promises.  Then signify your trust in Me by raising one hand heavenward.

JOHN 14:6

EVALUATION

Corporations usually evaluate  yearly the performance of their corporation and their employees to see if financial and human resource have made progress according to the standards set for the year.  Hopefully, the results will be improved sales, contracts,  revenues, and personnel training.

Many of My beloved spend time evaluating their lives.  Instead of evaluating your own life to see if you think that you have grown in faith and in My Spirit this past year, I want you to spend time evaluating Me.

I am your life.  As you spend time daily in My presence, you will become more like Me.  I want you to always have confidence that you are of infinite value to Me.  You are My glory.  You are My light shining in this dark world.  You are the salt of the Earth that adds flavor and preserves those you encounter in a day's time.  Evaluate how I spent My time on Earth, and then you will have a standard to evaluate your moments during a day's time.

MATTHEW 5:13,16; JOHN 17:22

TOMORROW

I  exhorted My disciples to take  no thought for tomorrow because tomorrow will take thought for the things of itself.  My Father knows exactly what your needs will be tomorrow and every tomorrow.

One of the main strategies of My enemy is to seduce you to play the "What If" and the "When Then" game.  Many scenarios can run through your mind if you take My enemy's invitation to play this game with him.

I want you to take one day at a time.  Of course, you do need to think about the long term plans or weekly plans you may have.  However, hold those plans lightly and release them to Me.  Simply commit your way to Me every morning, and I have promised to order your days according to what I will, not what you will.

MATTHEW 6:31-34; PSALM 37:5

ESCAPE

My servant Paul sent a letter to Timothy.  Paul described how things would be in the last days in this letter.  What he wrote certainly describes the times you are living in today.

He wrote:"In the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

I know that you would love to escape these times.  However, I have ordained you to be present during these times so that you can be a light shining in the midst of darkness.  Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify My Father in heaven.

2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5; MATTHEW 5:16

HOME

You are always so glad to reach home safely after a long trip.  You usually look forward to sleeping in your own bed, and you would like to stay at home at least for a season before you travel again.

I go to prepare a place for you, and that place will be your home for all eternity after your journey through life is over.  You will not have to ever leave home again.  The things that I have prepared for you in that heavenly home are more wonderful and beyond anything that you could ever think of or even dream about.

On those weary days when you feel like you just cannot take another step without calling on My strength, I want you to send your thoughts heavenward.  Set you affections on the things that are above and not on this Earth, and you will be refreshed throughout the day.

JOHN 14:1-3; COLOSSIANS 3:2

CONSULT

When you are facing a major decision, it is wise to consult with others to receive their wisdom about what you should do.  When there are many counselors there is safety.

However, before you consult with others, I want you to spend time with Me.  I want you to ask for My wisdom. I am all wisdom, and I love to give you good counsel.  It does give Me joy, when you come to Me with every problem before you go to others.

If you will always seek My wisdom first, then you will be able to discern whether or not your consultations with others line up with the wisdom I have given you.

PROVERBS 11:14; EPHESIANS 1:17

COVERING

I am your covering.  You dwell under the shadow of My wings. I am the strong tower that watches over you.  I am the Captain of the hosts of angels that surround you.

Daily you can hide yourself in Me.  When you do this, the enemy only sees Me, not you.  When you dwell in the secret place of My covering presence, no weapon that is formed against you will prosper.
Take comfort this morning in the fact that I am beside you, in front of you, behind you, and over you.  You are safe in My arms that surround you, and you have no need to feel abandoned or lonely. You are in Me and I am in you.

PSALM 91

COMPROMISE

The word, "compromise" can be divided as follows" "co-promise."  Then you may ask why is the "m" left out in this word division.  Let the "m" stand for the "m" in the word "me."  Many of God's promises are conditional.  For example, Philippians 4:6-7: "Be anxious in nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We play a definite part in the fulfillment of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7.  The "me" part of us must make the commitment to not be anxious about anything, but instead to pray about everything with thanksgiving. It is only when we do our part, that the very peace of our Lord Jesus Christ can invade both our hearts and our minds.

We are co-laborers with our Lord.  Remember today that co-laboring with Jesus includes obeying His instructions so that the conditional promises in His Word can be fulfilled.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7

INCLUSIVE

Some people feel that Christianity is exclusive.  They forget that My Father sent Me to save the whole world from sin.  Whoever will believe in Me will be saved.  I was not sent into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Me might be saved.

This message has yet to be delivered to the world,  Through technology, however, the saving knowledge of Me is being spread even into remote villages.  I am appearing in dreams to many who have followed false religions, and they are receiving My invitation.

Pray for those laborers who I have ordained to take My good news to those who have never heard about Me. I will come again when My gospel of My kingdom is preached in all the world for a witness to all nations.

JOHN 3:16-17;MATTHEW 24:14

SURROUND

I have chosen to not allow you to see into the spiritual realm.  However, sometimes I do open the eyes of people to see into that realm just as I opened the eyes of Elisha's servant when his city was surrounded by enemy armies. 

When Elisha's servant first saw his city surrounded by enemy armies, he was afraid.  Elisha told his servant not to be afraid because those who were with them were more than those who were with their enemy.Then Elisha prayed that his servant would have his eyes opened to see into the spiritual realm, and his servant saw that the mountains around the city were filled with horses and chariots of fire.

I am the captain of the heavenly hosts, and My armies of angels surround My beloved daily.  There is no reason to fear because My armies are stronger and much greater in number than Satan's army. Face today without fear because My angels are on duty night and day to help you.

2 KINGS 6:14-17; HEBREWS 1:13-14

FINAL

You always want to hear the final score to games.  You recognize that there can always be a huge turn around even in the last minutes of a game.  Sometimes you feel like life is a game, but it is not.  I do not play games with your life.  I know all and I see all.

I cried out, "It is finished!" when I died to redeem you from sin, and the final weapon against My enemy was employed.  It is through My shed blood that you now can boldly enter My throne room whenever you have a need, and you will find grace and help.

Circumstances may happen in your life that are difficult, but always remember that I am with you and I will bring you to victory.  We will always cross the finish line in every trial together.  I have already won the final victory.

JOHN 19:30; HEBREWS 4:16

CURRENT

No one likes to hear old news.  If you miss hearing the news for two days, you never want to replay old news.  You want to keep current and up to date with the latest news coverage.  However, there is old news that never grows old.

That old news is that My Father so loved the world that He gave Me to the world as the perfect sacrifice so that those who believe in Me can enter into an eternal relationship with My Father, Me, and My Holy Spirit.

This news happened over 2,000 years ago, but this is the good news that currently is affecting every person who will receive and believe this good news.  Pray for those today who have not heard this good news.

JOHN 3:16

HEMORRHAGE

I remembered the time when you hemorrhaged, and you felt that your life was draining out of you.  Life is in the blood, and if there are impurities in the blood, your whole body can be infected.

My body on Earth is hemorrhaging now.  There are many false doctrines that tickle the ears of My beloved, and My life within them is draining out.  Many of My beloved have been seduced to follow the ways of the world instead of Me.

Pray for those you know who have been enticed by My enemy to fulfill their own lusts instead of allowing Me to fulfill them.  Paul wrote Timothy these words: "Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils:" Pray against the plan of My enemy to send seducing spirits to My beloved.

1 TIMOTHY 4:1; 1 JOHN 2:15-16

SIGHT/INSIGHT

The gift of sight is a very precious gift.  I can recall how the blind man rejoiced when he received his sight after I touched his eyes.  At first he only saw people as trees, and then I gave him a second touch.  Suddenly, his vision was totally restored.

Everyone needs a second touch from Me.  Many have been blinded by the prince of darkness, and they have not even received My first touch to open their spiritual eyes.  Those who have received My first touch upon their spiritual eyes should always be open to My second touch.

My second touch to your spiritual eyes opens the eyes of your understanding.  When your eyes of understanding are opened, you can receive insight into not only My Word, but also insight about others you both know well and first meet.  I want you to see every person with My eyes.  I see every person as My precious treasure who I died to redeem from sin.

MARK 8:24-25; EPHESIANS 1:18

SEASON

You are experiencing the change in the seasons in the weather.  There are also seasons in your life when change will occur.  Only I know the future changes that will take place in your life.  Rest assured, however, that I will accomplish My will through you as you live moment by moment.

My servant Paul gave this challenge to Timothy, "Preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." I want you to be ready in all seasons to preach the good news of My redeeming power.

I am the Redeemer Who can redeem the years that the locust have eaten in the lives of people.  Nothing is ever beyond My redeeming power.  Give this word of encouragement to those who are experiencing great changes of circumstances in their lives. I am unchanging in My love for you.

1 TIMOTHY 4:2; JOEL 2:25

NIGHT

I created the sun to shine by day and the moon to give some light at night, but nothing compares with the light of My glory.  When you reach heaven, there will be no night.

I know how you like to rise up early in the morning so that you can see the eastern star shining through your front door.  I am the bright and morning star, and I seek to shine light on you throughout the day.  Today you celebrate your  77th birthday, and as the day closes, think of what awaits you one day when you see Me face to face.

Again, there will be no darkness in heaven.  My glory light will light the sky like the glorious sun rises and sunsets you enjoy.  I am the light of the world and the eternal light in heaven.  Until your departure keep shining for Me.  I have created you to be a light shining in the midst of darkness.

REVELATION 21:14;  JOHN 9:5

MEALS

It gives you great joy to prepare meals for those you love because you know that most of them enjoy a good home cooked meal.  I told My disciples not to allow their hearts to be troubled because I was going to prepare a place for them. 

I have a place for you and for all My beloved that I am preparing.  Part of the preparation is a special, delicious dinner that far exceeds any meal that you have ever experienced on Earth.

Look forward to the marriage supper of the Lamb.  I will be your host at that glorious supper.  What joy I will experience to host My whole family gathered together to enjoy food and fellowship with Me.  You do not have to wait for that supper to dine with Me.  I promised that if you will answer My knock at the door of your heart, I will come in and sup with you.  Sup with Me today.

REVELATION 19:9, 3:20

DISTURB

So many things can disturb you in a day's time. Unexpected events can disturb your plans.  You may even have to cancel your plans.  News of a relative who just had a bad report from the doctor can disturb you.

I do not want you to allow My enemy to vex you in anyway.  He always wants to disturb your plans and your life.  Instead of giving in to the feelings of frustration or even anxiety when disturbing circumstances occur, come to Me immediately.

I want to give you My peace that will totally mount guard over your heart and your mind. My peace is beyond the peace this world offers.  My peace is able to invade your heart and mind even in the midst of great trials.  The secret to remaining in My peace is simply to moment by moment cast all of your cares upon Me because I care for you.

PHILLIPIANS 4:6-7; 1 PETER 5:6-7

HEAVINESS

It is that time of year when the atmosphere is heavy with oppressive spirits.  You forget that the evil one loves this time of year.  All of his team celebrate Halloween like you celebrate My birth in December.

I have given you the weapons to fight those spirits.  Simply bind that spirit of heaviness in My blood and curse its fruits of oppression and depression.  Then command the spirit of heaviness to go where I will deal with that wicked spirit. Then loose upon yourself the joy of My Spirit. I have given you the garment of praise to lift the spirit of heaviness.

Stay in praise and thanksgiving all during this season, and you will experience My joy throughout the day and every day.

ISAIAH 61:3

REND

The word means to tear apart.  My prophet Joel spoke My words directed towards those who would be living in the last days just before My return: Therefore also now, says the Lord, turn you even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.  And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of the evil.  Who knows if He will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him...."

Rending the garments was a custom that people had to demonstrate their desire to repent either for themselves or for their nation.  I do not require an outward sign of repentance.  Instead, I want those who believe in Me to daily offer their hearts to Me in true repentance.

Your nation is experiencing desperate circumstances.  I promise to heal your land if My people will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways (repent).  Many are praying for revival to come to your nation, but this will only come when My people repent.  Pray for My Spirit to stir the gift of repentance in you and all those who believe in Me.

JOEL 2;12-13; 2 CHRONICLES 7:14

LATE

I know how you want to make your appointments and events on time.  If you are running late, you can easily become stressed.  Those are the times that My enemy can take advantage of you.

My enemy loves to pressure you to do things in haste.  He wants you to go ahead of Me.  This is why it is so important that you daily commit your works to Me.  My Holy Spirit will help prioritize your day.  He will establish your thoughts.

Depend upon Him to today as He speaks to you about the next thing to do.  When you depend upon My Spirit, you will not be late, and you also will not feel hurried or worried.  My adversary always works well in your life when you become impatient and stress-filled.  Let My Spirit flow moment by moment in your life, and at the end of the day you will not be worn out.

PSALM 37:5; PROVERBS 16:3

RELAX

It seems that people now are under so much pressure.  They hurry from one appointment to another event.  There is little time to just relax, and when there is time, it is hard for people to relax.

I am grateful that you have learned that the best time to relax in My presence is early in the morning.  My servant David said, "Early will I seek You." I also took time alone with My Father before the sun rose.

I want to challenge you this next week to set aside a time to relax in My presence.  It is during those times that you can clearly hear My voice.  In My presence is fullness of joy and pleasures forever more.  You will be able to abide in My joy and your joy will remain throughout the day when you relax with Me before your day begins.

PSALM 16:11; JOHN 15:11

ARMOR

Many of my beloved  daily cover themselves with the full armor of God described in My Word. They place the helmet of salvation, the breast plate of righteousness upon themselves.  They gird their loins with truth and put on the gospel shoes of peace.  They take up the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith. 

This is a good prayer to pray daily, but I want My beloved to activate My armor daily by hiding themselves in Me..  I am the full armor of God.  I am all truth.  I am your righteousness, I am your salvation.  I am your faith.  I am the living Word of God.  I am your peace.

Today, I want you to yield yourself to My Spirit so that you can be empowered to walk in My truths by learning and declaring My Word.  My Spirit will help you declare that your righteousness is of Me.  This will protect you from condemning words that My enemy sends you.  Thank Me for My sacrifice that provides salvation (wholeness in every area of your life). Rely on My faith within you instead of striving to have faith.  Pray about everything instead of being anxious and My peace will flood your heart and mind.

EPHESIANS 6:11-18

COMIING

There is all kinds of speculation about the time of My second coming.  I have noticed that some even believe that we are in the tribulation. The fact that some surmise this is proof that it is not yet time for My return on Earth.

You are in the beginning of sorrows as I described in Matthew 24.  However, only My Father knows the time of My return.  You can know the season of My return.  It is drawing near, but there is much to be done on Earth before My return.

I gave the sign of My returning to My disciples.  The sign of My return will be that My gospel has been preached to every nation.  There are many on Earth Who have not yet heard My gospel.  Pray for the laborers who are sent out to preach to the nations.  Only My Father knows when all have been reached.  At that time and not a day before that time will I return.

MATTHEW 24:3-14

ATTENDANTS

Weddings seem to be on My mind.  I am looking forward to that beautiful day when you will sit down with Me to enjoy My wedding dinner.

It is always up to the bride and groom to choose their wedding attendants.  Those attendants not only march down the isle during the wedding, but they usually assist the bride and groom in preparing for the wedding.

You also have attendants who are helping you prepare for that great wedding.   These attendants have been with you from the very beginning of your life on Earth.  Some of My beloved have a whole host of attendants.  Every one of My beloved have at least two attendants.  Those attendants are My Holy angels Who I have charged to watch over you throughout your life.  One day you will meet them.  Until that time, think back to the times in your life when you know without a doubt that these holy attendants were helping you..

HEBREWS 1:13-14

RECEPTION

Earthly weddings are a forerunner of what you will experience in heaven. A long receiving line of guests who want to hug the bride and congratulate the groom is formed after the wedding vows are completed.  Following that time of greeting, many times there is a sit down reception dinner.

When you reach heaven, there will be a reception line of saints who you have loved and many that you have witnessed to while you were on Earth. I will kiss you, My bride, and later you will enjoy the reception dinner I have prepared for you.

Just before Stephen entered heaven when he was being stoned, he saw Me standing to receive him.  My Word says that I am seated on the right hand of My Father, but on that special day I stood up to give honor to My dear servant Stephen.  All the saints and angels also stood and gave him a roaring ovation. What happened that day when Stephen entered My heavenly realm will be repeated when you and each of My saints finally see Me face to face.

MARK 14:62; ACTS 7:55-56

COLD/HOT

You are experiencing the change of seasons.  The weather is cooling down, the leaves are falling, and at last the season of hot weather is over.  Just as the seasons change, your heart can change for the better or worse.

I rebuked the Laodiceans because their works were neither hot nor cold.  Their focus was on material things and pleasuring themselves, and they had little time to spend in My presence.  I told them because they were neither hot nor cold that I would spew them out of My mouth.

I also rebuked the church at Ephesus because they had left their first love.  I want you to be very careful to keep your heart with all diligence because all the issues of life flow from your heart (your inner man).  I want your heart to be on fire for Me.  This can only happen when you ask My Holy Spirit to keep a burning desire in your heart to do My will and also to give you the power to do it.

REVELATION 3:14-16, 2:4; PROVERBS 4:23

TRY

I remember when you were a child that your response to your parents' correction was usually, "Mom and Dad, I'll try to be better. In most cases, that promise was broken later.

So many of My beloved are trying to do better.  On this day My precious Jewish people are observing Yom Kippur, a day given to repenting of past sins.  It is a day of contemplation and meditation.  The goal is to reestablish  relationships that have been broken with Me and others and to do better next year by not committing the same sins again.

Doing better next year will never happen if you are trying to do better without My help.  To break old habit patterns that are not pleasing to Me or to pull down strongholds in your mind that have been there year after year, your only hope is to turn to Me and ask for My help and strength to overcome. I have already forgiven your sins (past, present, and future), but the ability to sin no more will not work with self-effort.

RAPID RESPONSE

When there is an emergency in your family, you always pray that those who can help will rapidly respond to your plea for help.  Those who are now experiencing natural disasters all over the world are praying for a rapid response to their cries for help.

I hear their cries for help, but I need laborers with My wisdom who can rapidly respond to their needs.  I always hear your cries for help when you come to Me with situations and burdens that are beyond your natural ability to respond.

Place yourself in the position to rapidly respond to those who are in need in your own family, neighborhood, community and country.  I desire to use those who believe in Me to reach out to those in need. Daily remember that you have total access by My shed blood to boldly enter My throne room to find grace to help you in your times of need.

HEBREWS 4:16

REFLECTION

You are now in the Days of Awe that occur in the ten days between Rosh Hashanna and Yom Kippur.  It is a time to reflect over the past year.  You may want to join the Jewish people in this time of reflection.

Yom Kippur will be observed this Saturday, September 30.  It is the highest day in the Holy days observed by Jewish people. It is the day of atonement recorded in Leviticus 9:7.  It is a time provided to repent of any sins committed in this last year.  A prayer of repentance is read in temples and synagogues.  That prayer covers most sins that anyone could ever commit.

Give thanks today that I came as the perfect sacrifice to take away the sins of the world. Because you received Me as your Lord and Savior, your sins have not only been covered, but they have been taken away.  As far as the East is from the West so far have I removed all of your transgressions.

LEVITITCUS 9:7; PSALM 103:12

RELIEF

There are so many relief efforts taking place in your country since the storms.  Mexico also is experiencing tremendous relief efforts after the earthquake.  As I told you earlier, the whole earth is in labor and is preparing for the birth of My return.

These tragedies are horrific, and I know that only with My strength will these precious people be able to recover their loss.  The thief comes in to steal, kill, and destroy.  I came to give life.  Pray now for those who are going through these disasters to turn to Me.

True relief from horrendous circumstances only comes from Me.  I can relieve the emotional, spiritual and physical pain that so many are suffering now.  Those in these disaster areas also need people Who know Me to be My hands, feet, and arms to strengthen and embrace them.  I asked for prayer for more laborers for the harvest when I walked on Earth, and now I ask for you to pray for more of My laborers to go and minister to these people.

FINISH

You rejoice when you finish a difficult project.  Racers rejoice when they finally reach the finish line.  I rejoice when you recognize that I am the "Author and Finisher" of your faith and of your life.

You forget that every day of your life is written in heaven. I told My disciples to rejoice not because they had power over spirits, but to rejoice because their names were written in heaven.

Each day you live is a new page.  I do not want you to look back at past pages.  Leave those pages behind and look forward to the end of your book.  Pray daily that you will be on the same page that I have ordained for you.  Pray that you will be lead by My Spirit to be in the right place at the right time.  Only I know when you will reach the finish line of your life.  Until then, live each day as if it were your last day and enjoy My presence with you moment by moment..

LUKE 10:20; HEBREWS 12:2

GOLD

Many believe that when they go to heaven that they will walk on streets paved with gold.  However, those streets will be translucent. They will look golden because they will reflect My glory which is similar to the golden glow that fills the sky during a beautiful sunrise and sunset.

All of heaven will be filled with that glory light that comes from our throne room.  The day will come when all the Earth will be filled with My glory.

When I was transfigured on the mountain, Peter, James, and John saw My glory.  They had to close their eyes because the brightness of My countenance blinded them.  I created you to be My glory on Earth.  I want your countenance today to reflect that golden glow of My glory.  The only thing that will prevent this from happening is when you choose to walk in the flesh instead of My Spirit.

MATTHEW 17:1-4

NAME

When you study the names in My Word, you will discover that many of those names have meanings that relay the person's story..  My name has a meaning that describes why I came to Earth.

My name in Hebrew is Yeshua, and it means Salvation.  Salvation means liberty, deliverance, prosperity, safety and saving.

My name describes both My ministry and the ministry that you have as a believer in Me.  Isaiah described the ministry the Holy Spirit gave Me when he wrote: "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me: because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the meek, He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;....  Pray today that My Holy Spirit will anoint you to share My good news, feed those who are spiritually and physically poor, heal wounds in hearts, and set free those who have been captured and bound by My enemy.

ISAIAH 61:1; 58:6-8

WEIGHT

As the days draw closer to My return, natural disasters will increase.  The reason is that the whole Earth is having labor pains and is groaning before My second coming is birthed.

Labor pains of nature also can cause labor pains in you, if you allow the weight of this world to weigh you down.  My adversary would love to put his spirit of heaviness on you.

Resist the devil, by dressing yourself with the garment of praise by praising and worshipping Me every morning.  When you do this, the wells of joy within you will begin to bubble up and My joy will strengthen you for all that will be happening in your personal life and in the world.

ROMANS 8:21-23; ISAIAH 61:3

FOLLOW

I told My disciples that if they wanted to follow Me, they had to deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me.  The cross that I want you to daily take up in order to follow Me is You.

My servant Paul wrote that he was crucified with Me and that he now had My resurrection power living through him.  He also exhorted believers to offer their bodies as a living sacrifices and to reckon themselves dead to sin and alive to Me.

I love your praises and songs of thanksgiving and worship, but what I daily want is the sacrifice of yourself to Me. This only occurs when you yield yourself to My Holy Spirit. Allow My Holy Spirit to work through you today to both give you the will to do My will and also the power to fulfill My will.

MATTHEW 16:24; GALATIANS 2:20; PHIIPPIANS 2:13

REMEDY

Whenever you have a physical condition that has weakened you in some way, you most likely go to your internist with the hope that he can diagnose what part of your body needs strengthening.  Your physician will usually prescribe some type of program of exercise, diet, or he may give you a prescription that he believes will help your condition.

I am the "Great Physician," and I know exactly how to strengthen you both physically, mentally, and spiritually.  I gave My diagnosis of what ails you over 2,000 years ago.  Sin came into the world at the Fall of mankind, and ever since then that original sin has caused humankind to be weak in many ways.

Most physical illnesses result from the fallen world that you are exposed to daily.  The mental, emotional, and spiritual weaknesses are usually caused by a void of unconditional love in your inner person.  I came to remedy that condition.  Come to Me today and allow My extravagant, eternal and unconditional love to embrace you.

MATTHEW 9:12

ROB

My enemy came to steal, kill, and destroy.   "I came that you might have life and have it more abundantly,"  You have to have safeguards in order to prevent someone from robbing your home.  You also have to have safeguards to prevent the enemy from stealing your joy.

The safeguards that you can employ to guarantee that My enemy will not have success in robbing you of your joy are being careful about what you see, hear, and say.  You must guard the gates to your mind.  Those gates are your eye gate,  ear gate, and mouth gate.

Like it or not, My enemy is always watching for you to open the doors of your worldly lusts: the lust of the flesh (seeking to gratify your five senses in an addictive way); the lust of the eyes (greed and covetousness) and the lust of the pride of life (trusting yourself more than you trust in Me).  Shut the doors to these lusts when the enemy tempts you and set up your safeguards, and My enemy will not be able to steal your joy.

JOHN 10:10

NOW

It is human nature to review hurts in the past.  This is an exercise in futility.  I want you to live in the present and also daily live in My presence.  The past does not define you.  You now have your identity in Me, and I want to commune with you daily.

Faith can only work right now.  It cannot work in the past and it cannot work in the future.  Today, I want you to ask Me what I require of you.  There are only three things that are required for you to live a life that is not consumed with past hurts.

I require that you love mercy, do justly, and walk humbly with Me.  Humility is seeing yourself as I see you.  I see you cleansed by My blood and complete in Me.  Do not review past failings.  That also is an exercise in futility.  I want your whole being given to Me today and each day.  TODAY, RIGHT NOW we can co-labor TOGETHER in My kingdom on Earth.

MICAH 6:8; HEBREWS 11:1

PURPOSE

So many on Earth aimlessly go through life without knowing the whole purpose of their existence.  I created humankind to do three things: enjoy My creation, praise and worship Me, and glorify Me in the things that they do and say daily.

The purpose in life is to express My love to others in such a way that they can see Me through those who serve Me.  Faith is not seen, but My love can be seen if there are willing vessels on Earth Who daily want to express My love to others.

I even want you to love your enemies.  This is not possible without the power of My Holy Spirit working through your heart and out of your body.  You know your major purpose now, so today ask My Spirit to help you love like I love.

JOHN 17:20-22

GENEROSITY

You have witnessed recently the generosity of many people as they have given to those people who have lost most everything in the natural disasters that have befallen your country.  I always can work My purposes in whatever happens in your fallen world.  I am in the redeeming business.

My Father is a giver, and those who give generously open their hearts up to My Spirit.  Pray for those who are generously giving to recognize My Father's generosity when He gave Me, His only Son, to be the perfect sacrifice for sin to redeem people from the bondage of sin.

I want you always to have your heart open to give generously not only of your money, but also of your time.  It is My very Spirit that causes people to give.  Pray for this move of My Spirit in your country now to touch many hearts and thereby cause many to turn to Me, their Redeemer.

JOHN 3:16:

CHILD

I said, "Verily, I say to you, whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein."  "Child" in this sentence I spoke is interpreted "infant."  You are well aware of how dependent an infant is upon his parents.

An infant depends upon his parents to feed, clothe, change, love and nurture him.  Good parents do all of these things for their newborn infant.  When you entered My kingdom, you were born again.  You were an infant.  You depended upon Me for everything.

I never want you to lose your dependency upon Me.  As you grow older in My kingdom, it is so easy for you to forget your dependency upon Me.  Often, you feel you can do things in your own strength.
You walk in My Spirit and grow in My Spirit only as you depend upon My strength, My provision, and My love daily.

LUKE 18:17

ARGUMENTS

People are always subject to arguments.  Even My beloved sometimes argue over the Scriptures.  The truth is that arguments usually do not bear good fruit..  One party will have to give in to the other and neither parties are winners.  Often wounding words are spoken in the heat of an argument.

Recognize that when you get into an argument with another person, you are usually trying to prove your point because you think you are right.  There is only One Who is always right and that is Me.
When you try to prove your point in a matter, you are in pride.

What should you do then when a person disagrees with you?  I faced many disagreements when I walked on Earth: disagreements with My disciples, lawyers, scribes, and Pharisees.  I knew that what they argued was not based on truth.  I never tried to prove My point.  I only relayed the truth.  I want you to speak the truth in love, and you can only do this when you are not trying to prove your own point.

EPHESIANS 4:11-15

Still

The age that you now live does not lend itself to being still.  Everyone is on the go, and most everyone is either listening or watching something.  The eye and ear gates to the mind are flooded with information.

You have to be intentional in this age to still your soul.  I exhort  you to still your soul every morning by just being quiet and still in My presence.  This is not a time to cast your burdens on Me or to even sing songs to Me.  Simply acknowledge My presence with you by thanking Me for My love towards you.

Let Me speak to you while you are silent.  I have much to share with you, but often I do not have that opportunity because even in your quiet times you are talking, not listening.  Ask Me this morning to give you a Scripture to meditate on during the day.  Then wait quietly to hear what I give you to read in My Word.  In My presence is fullness of joy and pleasures for evermore.

PSALM 16:11, 40:10

RESTITUTION

Whenever you have been wronged by someone, you usually seek restitution.  You want a payback of those things that were lost.

My enemy seeks to harm you and to rob you of My joy.  My friend, the psalmist David, felt that he had lost the joy of his salvation.  He asked Me to restore the joy of his salvation.  I was able to do this after David confessed his sins of adultery and murder.

When you seem to have lost the joy of your salvation, I want you to come to Me.  I will restore the joy of your salvation and restore our fellowship together when you also repent of any sins that have caused you to feel distant from Me.

PSALM 51:8, 12

DIFFICULT

Life is always difficult, and I did say that in the world you would have tribulation, but be of good cheer I have overcome the world.  I overcame the world for your sake, so that I can infuse you with My strength to get through every trial you face in life.

I usually do not intervene to stop the trials you will experience in life. I did not stop the great trial that Peter was going to face.  I knew that Satan was going to sift him as wheat and I told him this. That sifting would occur when Peter gave into the temptation to deny Me three times.  I had the power to stop that from happening to Peter, but I did not.  I simply told him that I would pray that his faith would not fail him.

Peter recognized for the first time his own weakness when I allowed him to go through that trial.  He realized that without My strength he could not overcome temptation. Keep in mind that when you are going through trials that I am also praying that your faith in Me not fail.

JOHN 16:33; LUKE 22:31-32

PERSONALLY

I want you to never take what someone says to you personally.  You must remember that you do not fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and wickedness in high places. 

When someone comes against you or is rude to you, I want you to recognize that My enemy, Satan, is trying to cause you to retaliate in some way or to take what has been said as a personal attack on you.

My enemy always wants to hurt people.  He wants them to feel rejected and wounded.  Do not retaliate with unkind words against the person who has come against you. That person is not your enemy..  Hurt people hurt people. Instead pray for that person and daily put on your breast plate of righteousness by declaring out loud that your righteousness is of Me.  When you do this no weapon formed against you will prosper.

EPHESIANS 6: 11-13; ISAIAH 54:17

RECOGNIZE

The first step to repentance is the recognition of sin. My servant John wrote if you say that you have no sin, you deceive yourself.  All have sinned and fallen short of My glory.

My dear friend Peter finally recognized his sin when the cock crowed .. I warned him that he would deny Me three times before the cock crowed.  He did not believe Me. He was confident in his own strength to overcome temptation.  

Whenever you depend upon yourself more than you depend upon Me, you have given into the lust called "the pride of life" (trusting in yourself and your own strength more than Me).  Whenever you think that you can handle a difficult situation or relationship without My help, you must recognize that things will not go well.  Recognize your dependence upon Me this day, and call upon My help.

1 JOHN 1:8-10; ROMANS 3:23; MATTHEW 16:34-35

PERMANENT

There really is nothing permanent in life.  Circumstances, marriages, children, jobs,  are all subject to change.  Parents pray that their children will not grow up so fast, but they do grow up and leave the nest..  People pray that they will be able to remain in the job they like until they retire, but they may be told that their career is over.

I am the only permanent thing in your life.  I am the same today, yesterday, and forever.  My love for you is permanent.  It never changes even when you feel that your do not deserve such constant, unconditional love from Me.

Your place in heaven is permanent.  These truths are why I want you to put all of your hopes in Me instead to hoping that things will not change.  Hope is in the future, and I hold your future in My hands.  You have a permanent place in My heart now and for all eternity.

HEBREWS 13:8

FATHERS

I always loved talking with My Father before dawn.  I knew that once the light of the day was shining brightly that there would be little time if any to just listen intently to My Father.  You have so many distractions in your age.  Few of My beloved have quality time with Me daily.

You read one time that fathers on the average only speak to their children two hours a week.  Those hours are spaced during the few hours that fathers are not working outside the home.  Fathers today have to be intentional to spend quality time with their children.

So many in the world do not even know who their father is.  The expressive love that a father displays to his children is vital for their emotional well being.  My heavenly Father loves every child, but children need to hear "I love you" from their dads.  In the last days I will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and their children to their fathers..  My heart is always turned towards you.  Spend quality time in prayer today and listen to the love words that My Father is conveying to you.

MALACHI 4:5

CONCLUSIONS

It is so easy to jump to conclusions when you do not know all of the facts.  So many of My beloved try to guess at when I will return, and they come to their own conclusions.

"It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which My Father has put in His own power."  Only My Father knows the day and hour of My return. 

Rather than diligently searching My Word to try to figure out when I will come again, I want you to ask Me for wisdom every day so that you can apply the knowledge that you find in My Word to your every day life.  Kingdom living is not based on knowledge of facts.  It is based on intimate knowledge of Me and faith. Faith can only operate in your life in this present moment.

ACTS 1:7; JAMES 1:5; HEBREWS 11:1

CONFRONT

It is usually difficult to know whether or not I want you to confront someone with their sin or just pray for that person.  Confronting someone without the unction and anointing of My Spirit often will produce little fruit.

My servant John gave the answer when he wrote: "If any man sees his brother sin a sin that is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death.  There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.  All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death" (1 John 5:16-17).

The only sin that is unto death is rejection of Me as Lord and Savior.  I exhort you to first pray for the fellow believer who you see sin.  I have given you and all My beloved the priestly role of praying and confessing the sins of others.  You are to ask Me to count that sin not against the person and also ask Me to send them the gift of repentance. I gave that priestly role to My disciples just after My resurrection.  I first breathed into them and said to them, "Receive you the Holy Spirit: Whosever sins you remit are remitted and whoever sins you retain are retained.

1 JOHN 5:16-17; JOHN 20:21-23

CONGENIAL

People are congenial with one another when they have the same tastes and temperament.  Such people usually do not have a problem in their relationships with kindred spirits.

The goal of My Holy Spirit is to conform you to My image.  This means that He is forming My temperament in your emotions and My thoughts in your mind.  When you lift up your soul daily to Me and ask My Spirit to help you love like I love, you are cooperating with this challenging assignment of My Spirit to conform you to My image.

People who live in your age more than ever need to see My love expressed through a human being.  When I exhorted My disciples to let their light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify My Father in heaven, I was challenging them to love like I love.  Loving Me with all your heart and loving others is the work of My Spirit within you. Yield to My Spirit today.

ROMANS 8:29; MATTHEW 5:16

ENJOY

I created the world for you to enjoy, and I also created your five senses to enhance your enjoyment of the beauty of the world.  I love to see you wake up early so that you can see the morning star.  I created that view so that you will know that I will be watching over you on that new day.

I also created the sunrise and the sunset.  I make the mornings and the evenings to rejoice. Listen carefully at sunrise and sunset and you will hear the birds praising Me at dawn and at dusk.  I know how summer is not your favorite month because of the heat, but I created the sounds of summer as night falls to entertain your ears.

When you take your walks in the morning stop for a moment and smell the roses.  I created your taste buds to savor the flavor of food.  Enjoy what I have created this day, and alert your senses everyday to welcome My creation.

PSALM 65:8; PSALM 34:8; REVELATION 22:16

PERSERVERANCE

You often ask Me, "Why do people go through so many trials?"  There are multiple reasons why people suffer many trials, but one of the fruits that can be produced through trials is perseverance.  Perseverance will lead to patience, and patience will finally be developed in our characters.

My Holy Spirit desires to fill the hearts of all believers with My love.  However, often My love is blocked from shining forth from the hearts of believers because they do not persevere through trials with a joyful spirit. 

How you react to tribulation will show forth My love. You have a choice to react in anger because you believe I am punishing you, or you can respond in love. I do rebuke those I love, but I do not punish them.  I bore the chastisement or punishment for all humans when I died on the tree.  Sadly, many experience no peace in their hearts when tribulation comes because they do not recognize the fact that I have either ordained the trial or allowed it to fulfill My purpose in their lives.

ROMANS 5:1-5; JAMES 1:2-3

BOTTLES

"Who can stay the bottles of heaven?" I asked Job this question.  I am in control of the weather, but you can intercede for My mercy when storms  come your way.  You also can pray for rains to come and for rains to stop.  Elijah prayed for rain, and it came.

Heavenly bottles not only store water, but they also store the tears that you have shed when you have cried out to Me.  David prayed that I would put his tears in a bottle when the Philistines took Gath. His enemies seemed to be winning.

Whenever your enemy (Satan) seems to be winning, cry out to Me, and.when you pray for the salvation of others, cry out to Me. I will put your tears in a bottle and later I will pour out your tears as showers of blessings upon yourself and those you cry out to Me for their salvation.

JOB 38:37; JAMES 5:17-20; PSALM 56:8

WEATHER

I have heard you say to Me, "Lord, I love you, but I cannot help resenting it when you throw buckets of rain on us."  It is true that I am in charge of the weather. I use weather for three purposes.  The three purposes are for correction, for the land, or for mercy.  I spoke these purposes to My servant Job.

You are experiencing heavy amounts of rain in your country.  One or all three of these reasons for strange weather conditions can be applied to your country.  Trust Me to fulfill whatever My purposes are for your country, but your prayers will avail much.

I also told Job that I could stay the bottles of heaven.  I told Job that I was the One and the only One Who can divide a watercourse for the overflowing of waters.  Pray and appeal to My mercy today to stop the heavy rain you are experiencing in your country.  I always mete My judgment with My mercy.

JOB 38:25, 37; ISAIAH 30:18

UNUSUAL

Almost daily you face unusual circumstances and people who seem to be unusual. You live in a day when many unusual things will be happening.  I spoke about this when I shared with My disciples about the last days.  There will an unusual amount of floods and earthquakes and other natural disasters.  You will meet people who are unusually cold, distant, and uncaring.  They will only be thinking of themselves.

As you draw closer to Me in these days, you will discover how unusual My love for you is.  My love is nothing like human love that is based on feelings and often is fickle.  My love is all accepting, extravagant, and unending. 

I want you to allow My unconditional love to flow through you today even when you face unusual circumstances and encounter unusual people.

MATTHEW 24:6-13; ROMANS 5:1-5

BRIDGE

When communications between two people are difficult and tense, there are several reasons.  One reason is that the two parties remember how prior communications with one another have not gone well.  Such an assumption places a negative shadow over the interchange.

Often My enemy will give negative thoughts about one another, and the expectations even before the conversation occurs are not edifying.  You forget that My enemy hears every unkind word that has been spoken in the past, and he will make sure that each person remembers those words.

I desire that your speech always be seasoned with grace.  This is impossible if there is intimidation and mistrust.  Pray for the anointing of My Holy Spirit before entering such conversations.  That anointing includes wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.  You can have all knowledge and wisdom, but if you lack understanding the bridge that both parties need cross to come to a resolution will not hold.

ISAIAH 11:2; COLOSSIANS 4:6

COURAGE

My Word has so many exhortations about courage.  Moses said to Israel and Joshua, "Be of good courage," and Joshua gave the same exhortation to Israel before they went to claim the Promised Land.

David wrote this, "I had fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, wait, I say, on the Lord (Psalm 27:13-14."

David gave two very important steps you should take to receive My courage.  The first step is to remember how I have been good to you in the past.  The second step is to wait on Me instead of moving in haste when you face situations where you need courage.  When you wait upon Me by spending time in My presence, I will be able to strengthen your heart and infuse you with My courage.


DEUTERONOMY 31:6-7; PSALM 27:13-14

RESENTMENT

Resentment is anger internalized.  If you allow resentment to remain in your heart towards someone, then that resentment usually will turn into depression.  Resentment is feeling in the emotional level of your soul that, if allowed to remain, can poison your whole physical body.

Resentment can be based on the fact that you feel someone has taken advantage of you or that someone is not doing right by you.  You can resent having to work so hard with so little pay, and you can resent the fact that you were born into an unloving family.

Whatever the reason for resentment, I exhort you to get rid of it immediately.  Resentment will steal your joy and your peace.  Give your resentment to Me quickly by forgiving the one you resent or by learning to be content with whatever difficult circumstances you may be experiencing.  When you are content, you will not be contentious.

BORING

When you serve in My kingdom on Earth, you will never be bored.  Many people who have yet to know Me in a personal way often get bored with the same routines of life.  I have heard people give thanks on Friday because they will have the whole weekend without work.  They often call Monday "Blue Monday" because they have to go to work again.

You are a co-laborer with Me in the work I have assigned you to do in My Kingdom.  Every day is a day when My Spirit will lead you to opportunities to share My love with others.

The labor I have given you is never boring, and you can daily look forward to what I will do through your earthen vessel.  Paul wrote that grace labored through him, and grace will always accomplish My works through you.  Look forward to working with Me today.
