EXCEEDING

The word, "exceeding," means surpassing, extraordinary, and extreme.  As you read My Word, you will see this word in the letters Paul wrote.

Paul wrote "Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation (2 Corinthians 7:4).

How could Paul be exceeding joyful in tribulation? He knew Me and he knew how powerful I am.  He prayed this for all believers that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened, to know what is the hope of our calling, and what the riches of the glory of our inheritance in the saints; "And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power (Ephesians 1:18-19).  It is My exceeding power that will get you through every tribulation you experience.

2 CORINTHIANS 7:4; EPHESIANS 1:18-19

RENEWED

As  you look at the condition the world is in right now, you could easily become discouraged, and Satan will most likely tempt you to give up.  He will whisper phrases like: "Your prayers are not changing anything.  There is no hope for the world."

Do not listen to those lies.  Place all of your hope in Me and the power of My Holy Spirit.  My Holy Spirit not only has the power to help renew your mind when you read My Word, but He also has the power to renew your inner man.

Paul wrote: For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16)." When you receive this truth, you can take hope that the Holy Spirit also has the power to renew your nation and the world and establish righteousness once again.

PRESS

The crowds pressed upon Me, but there was only one in the crowd that was willing to forget about the fact that she was unclean.  She did not hesitate to press into Me.  The moment I felt her touch, healing virtue left My body.

There are many today who have lived lives that are unclean.  They have gone the way of darkness which is the way of the world.

Pray for those who need to understand that I can cleanse them with My blood.  I can make them new creatures and the old things and old ways in their lives will pass away in the light of My glory.  Pray that My Spirit will help them to cry out to Me and press into Me.  I long for them to know Me as I know them.

MATTHEW 9:20-22 

MINE

Never forget that you are Mine and that I am yours.  Yes, you are My precious possession that I bought with My own blood when I died on the tree.

When you accepted Me as your LORD and Savior I became yours.  Yes, I am yours forever and for all eternity.

I will never leave you or forsake you.  These truths should make you feel so secure that you will never have to worry about anything because I can get you through everything.

JOHN 17:10

TEARS

I appreciate the times when you not only cry out for people in your prayers, but you also weep for them as you receive their heavy burdens.  Those who sow in tears will reap with joy.

So many that you pray for do not know how to cry out to Me for help.  When they go through overwhelming circumstances, they become heavy hearted. 

When you take their burdens upon you and weep over what they are going through, I remember how I wept over Jerusalem.  The people at that time had no idea that the day would come when I would have a way to be set free from sin. I bottle the tears that people cry, and I bottle the tears that you cry as you pray for them.

PSALM 126:5; MATTHEW 23:37

BRING

My cousin John prepared the way for Me to be known on earth when he preached.  He was preaching repentance.  He said, "Bring forth therefore meet for repentance (Matthew 3:8)."  He saw the self-righteousness of the Pharisees and Sadducees, and he knew that in order to receive My teachings, they first had to repent.

This is true today.  Many are praying diligently for a great spiritual awakening throughout the world.  The first step for this to happen is a move of My Holy Spirit to convict people of their sins.

As you pray for this great awakening, pray for a sweep of conviction to come upon people all over the world.  Pray for My Spirit to touch the hearts of people and bring about true repentance in their hearts.

MATTHEW 3:8

HEAR

When I taught the crowds who followed Me, I often said, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear." Truly there were people I ministered to who were deaf. However, I was addressing the spiritual ears that people have, not their physical ears.

I want you to hearken to My Word. You hearken when you listen, listening. I want you to read My Word out loud because faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.

Ask My Holy Spirit to help you hear with your spiritual ears, not just your physical ears.  When you hear with your spiritual ears, you will receive understanding, wisdom, and instructions given by My Holy Spirit.  You will not just gain knowledge.

DELIGHT

 As you grow in your knowledge of Me, you will discover those things that delight Me. The prophet Jeremiah shared what delights Me when He wrote Jeremiah 9:24:

But let him who glorieth glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD Who exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth: for in these things I delight, says the LORD (Jeremiah 9:24).

Because you and all Who know Me are the body of Christ on the earth, you also delight in My lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness.  Pray for these three things that delight Me to be established in all the earth.

TRAVAIL

All creation and those who love Me are groaning and travailing like a woman in labor who expects soon to welcome new birth.

The world right now is in great pain, and I have called you to co-labor with Me to call forth a harvest of souls in these last days.  Your intercession can birth many souls.  Diligently pray for those who do not know Me yet.

The lost have no hope.  Your hope in the resurrection that I have purchased for you will give you the strength to keep travailing in prayer for those who are lost.  Do not give up.  Your travail will avail much.

ROMANS 8:22-23 

OPPRESSED

There are many all over the earth and even in My body on earth who are oppressed by the devil.  I know that sometimes you feel that the darkness that is oppressing the world is more than you can handle

I do not want you to handle this darkness and oppression.  Instead, I have given you a way to help remove this terrible oppression.

You can fast and pray.  The fast that is most pleasing to Me is the fast to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke. Make it your goal to fast as My Spirit leads and to pray for all oppression to flee and all bondages to be broken in the lives of those you know.

ISAIAH 58:6

LONG

Many are asking, "How long O LORD? How long O LORD?" I hear your cries as you continue to pray for a reformation in your nation. I do attend to your prayers. 

I am also the Captain of a huge hosts of angels Who stand ready always to hear you as you declare My Word.  My angels are fighting for you.

Be persistent, intentional, believing and receiving as you pray.  You will see a break thru because I have promised to perfect anything that is a concern to you.  I know how concerned you are about the way your nation is going, but take heart. Together you and My body on earth are winning this battle.

PSALM 61, 138:8

STOP

When you were a child, your mother and father taught you to stop, look, and listen before you crossed a street.  They also told you to look both ways before you crossed.

I want you to stop and ask Me for wisdom when you are under attack.  You need to look both ways in order to be victorious.  You need to recognize that Satan is attacking you in the very areas that I want to use you.  Do not be discouraged. Instead, be encouraged.  

Listen for My instructions and follow them.   Keep moving forward in My will. To be victorious in these days when Satan is attacking My body of believers on earth is to keep moving forward. Do not stop asking Me for wisdom, seeking My will in My Word, and knocking at My throne of grace with your prayers.

MATTHEW 7:7

WORTHY

You sing a song, "Worthy is the Lamb" during your worship times.  It is true that I am worthy, but I want you to meditate on the fact that I count you worthy to contain My very Spirit, My Holy Spirit Who lives within you.

My servant Paul prayed a prayer for the church at Thessalonica, and this is My prayer for you.  Paul prayed that those in this church would be counted worthy of their calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of My goodness, and the work of faith with power:

He prayed that My name would be glorified in them, and them in Me according to the grace that My Father has given them. This is a wonderful prayer for you to pray this year for the church throughout the world.

2 THESSALONIANS 1:11-12

TRUTH

I said that "I am the truth."  You live in an age of deception.  Deception is one of the main tools that Satan uses to get people into bondage.

When people are sincerely searching for the truth, they will find Me.  My Word says that "When you seek Me , you will find Me when you search for Me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13)."

Pray for those you know who are searching for truth.  Pray that I will reveal My truth to them through My Word and by the power of My Holy Spirit.

WAY

I said that "I am the way."  So many have great objections when you say that I am the only way someone can receive eternal life. Every religion has some way that a person who believes in that religion can live eternally.

It is important to remember that I am not only the way, but I am eternal life.  John recorded  what I said about eternal life.  He wrote: And this is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God, and  Jesus Christ whom You have sent (John 17:3)."

I said those words when I prayed to My Father just before I gave My life to redeem those who believe on Me from Satan's grip. Those who believe in Me can receive not only eternal life, but also abundant life.

BREAD

Yesterday, I challenged you to begin to meditate on Who I am each day.  I said that "I am the living bread that came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is My flesh, that I will give for the life of the world (John 6:51)."

The disciples had no idea what I meant when I told them that I would "give My flesh for the life of the world."

They still did not understand when I blessed the bread and broke it and said, "This is My body broken for you" at My last Passover meal with them. It was not until after My crucifixion that they finally understood.  The next time you eat bread, I want you to thank Me for giving My flesh so that you can have life eternal.

MEDITATION

Many on earth have ways to meditate and those ways may cause a person to find temporary peace.  However, when you meditate on Me and My Word, you will receive a peace that is timeless.

I am the Prince of Peace, and eternal peace will result as you meditate on Who I am.  Your meditation of Me will cause you to sing. Each day you can meditate on Who I am.  Today you can meditate on the fact that I am the light of the world.

Think about that as you take down your Christmas lights, and continue to meditate on that truth throughout this year. Every time you turn on a light in your home, remember that My light can penetrate all darkness.

PRICE

Some people feel that they are not worth being honored or cherished because they are under great condemnation because others have abused them verbally or physically..  If only these people knew that I paid the ultimate price to purchase them when I died to forgive them of their sins.

Every person born into this world is precious to Me.  It is My adversary who condemns, abuses and accuses.  I came into the world not to condemn the world, but that the world through Me might be saved.

As you enter this new year, I want you to reach out to those people who have experienced much rejection and condemnation.  You have the truths that will set them free.  I came to earth to heal their broken hearts.
