ATTEMPT

I know exactly how you feel when you are faced with having to attempt something new.  You feel weak and unable to accomplish something new in your life.  You are used to doing things the old familiar way. 


When I walked on Earth I was touched with the feelings of every weakness of mankind. Yet I was without sin.  I have experienced those sinking feelings that you have when you face having to interview for a new job or having to face being a mother of your first child.  It is natural that you feel a lack of confidence.


When you are about to attempt something new, recognize that I am your confidence.  I am your strength, and I am your wisdom.  Call upon Me to help you and you will be amazed at the confidence that will be birthed in your soul.


HEBREWS 4:14-16

FAST

My disciples were asked why they did not fast like the other religious Jews did in My day.  I responded, " Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?  As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast."


You are My friend, and you now live in the age when more than ever you need to fast.  I am coming soon and one of the ways you can prepare for My coming is to fast.  Always keep in mind that you do not fast to manipulate My Father to answer your prayer.  You fast to place yourself in the position to hear clearly from My Father His answer.


I challenge you today to begin to regularly fast each week.  My Spirit will help you find the best way for you personally to fast.  Also remember to demonstrate daily the fast that I have chosen for all of My beloved to do.  The chosen fast is to break the bonds of wickedness, to undo heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, to share your bread with the hungry, to receive into your home those who are cast out, to clothe the naked, and to have right relationships with your relatives.

POWER

My Spirit is the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.  My Spirit is able to channel the very power that created the universe to you.  You would be overwhelmed with the power of God without My Spirit anointing you with the exact amount of power that you need at the time to minister to others.


My Spirit also fills your heart with the exact amount of My love to share with others.  It is My Spirit Who teaches and leads you into all truth. My Spirit gives you understanding of My Word so that you can apply the knowledge you gain to your everyday life.  Your mind is kept sound by My Spirit as you submit yourself to reading and obeying My Word.


Thank Me today for sending you the Holy Spirit Who can empower you with My love and also renew you mind.


2 TIMOTHY 1:7

SPAN

I am a great God.  The vastness of My greatness is hard for the human mind to comprehend.    However, one look heavenward when the stars are shining brightly will give you a sense of My greatness.


The prophet Isaiah wrote this about My greatness: " Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand.  Measured heaven with a span and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure?  Weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance (ISAIAH 40:12)?"


Yet, I am able to number the hairs on your head.  I have the heart of a shepherd who keeps a count of all of his sheep.  I am able to perfect everything that concerns you, and today I invite you to come to Me with every burden.  My greatness is channeled through My Holy Spirit to you, and you can be comforted today with the knowledge that He is on duty always to help you.


ISAIAH 40:12

MINSTRY

So many of My beloved think that one day they will serve Me full time in some type of ministry.  They forget how I ministered when I walked on Earth.  As I walked around the Sea of Galilee, I ministered to whoever came to Me.


I want you to recognize that whoever is facing you is the person you are to minister to.  When you give your day to Me and ask Me to put you in the right place at the right time, you can trust Me to place you with individuals whose hearts are prepared to receive My love.


Today and everyday be aware of the ministry of the moment.  Consider any encounter with a person as a divine appointment, and then be sensitive to the leading of My Spirit.  I will give you the words of life to present to that person.


PHILIPPIANS 2:13

MERCY

Many of My beloved cry out to Me for mercy.  You do not have to cry out to Me for mercy because I am a merciful God.  My mercy is from everlasting to everlasting to every generation that fears Me.


Instead of crying out to Me for mercy, simply thank Me for My mercy.  It is My delight to demonstrate the mercy of My Father.  I continually demonstrated His mercy when anyone came to Me to be healed when I walked on Earth.


I continue to demonstrate My Father's mercy daily as you see the answers to your prayers.  Always believe that I desire to answer your prayers because I am a merciful God Who is able to perfect everything that you are concerned about.


PSALM 103:11, 138:8

RICHES

Most everyone wants to have riches.  People seek higher positions so that they will have more wealth.  I want My beloved to recognize that they are in the highest position they could ever reach because they are seated with Me in heavenly places.

Riches come to those who fear Me.  Material riches may come, but the riches that are eternal are guaranteed to those who love Me with a heart that is ready to do My will.

True riches are good relationships, family love, favor with people, joy, peace, and righteousness.
Thank Me today for those riches that I have given you.

EPHESIANS 1:3; PROVERBS 22:4

BENEFITS

Both blessings and benefits await those who walk in the fear of Me.  Remember you fear Me when you have an awesome respect for My sovereignty and creative power and when you translate that power into  your every day life by both reading My Word and heeding (obeying) My Word.

I am the One Who gives you a hunger and thirst for My Word.  Whenever you have neglected reading My Word daily simply because of the busy life you lead, there will be a drought in your Spirit.  When this happens, pray for Me to once again rekindle that desire in your heart to read My Word.

One of the greatest benefits of walking in the fear of Me is that you will be kept from giving into temptation when My enemy knocks on the door of one of your lusts.  Solomon wrote: "By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil (Proverbs 16:6)."  His Son David wrote, "Thy Word have I hid in My heart that I might not sin against thee (Psalm 119:11."

BLESSINGS

My blessings come to those who fear Me.  You will see many passages in My Word that talk about the benefits of walking in the fear of the Lord.  You fear Me when you have an awesome respect for My power and sovereignty, and you also have a heart that seeks to obey My Word.

One of the greatest benefits of walking in fear of Me is length of days.  When you have a heart to obey My voice, your days will be prolonged.

Thank Me today for being the One Who has your days numbered.  It is My desire that you live all the days that are promised in My Word and even more so that you can be a light to those who yet do not know Me.

PROVERBS 10:27; PSALM 90:10

ANGER/HATRED

There is a difference between anger and hatred.  I know that there will always be moments when your flesh causes you to have angry moments.  It is not a sin to be angry when you experience a moment of pressure or weakness in the flesh. 

My servant Paul exhorted believers to "be angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath."  If you retain anger and resentment in your heart for more than a day, a root of bitterness can develop in your heart, and that root can cause the fruit of hatred.

My servant John wrote: "He who hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness and he who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no occasion for him to stumble."  Always confess and ask forgiveness of the person you were angry with before you go to bed at night.  This way you will not grieve the Holy Spirit.  Paul wrote: "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you with all malice: and be kind to others, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you."  Walk in the light today and every day, and you will not stumble.

PERSEVERENCE

Perseverance is a character quality that few of My beloved possess.  This character quality can only be formed in a person when that person is willing to step aside and allow Me to control their lives. Life in the age you live in is difficult, and you will experience many trials.  However, there is a way that you can not only survive your trials, but also a way that you can sail through those trials with  a joyful spirit.

I know that you think such behavior is impossible, and it is impossible if you are depending upon your own strength.  When you are willing to yield yourself to the power of My Holy Spirit, this beautiful character quality of perseverance can be formed in you.

My friend Paul wrote that part of My full armor was watching with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.  When you are willing to persevere in trials no matter how severe they may be, you then will be able to persevere in prayer for others who are also going through severe trials. Yield yourself to My Spirit, and receive the power to persevere.  You especially need this character quality as the day of My coming draws near.

EPHESIANS 6:18

DISCOURAGEMENT

One of the tactics of My enemy is to discourage people.  When this happens to you, I want you to look carefully at the word, "DISCOURAGE." The word, 'COURAGE" is in this word.  I want you to always remember to be of good courage whenever the enemy invades your mind and emotions with discouragement.

When Joshua took the place of Moses, I gave this exhortation to Joshua: "Be strong and of good courage."  Later, Joshua passed this exhortation on to the people of Israel.  He said, "Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage."  I promised then to fight Joshua's enemies.

I make the same promise to you.  Remember always that the good courage I want you to walk in daily is My courage.  The battle is mine, not yours.  The moment you are discouraged, I want you to draw on My courage and give whatever battle you are experiencing at the moment to Me.

JOSHUA 1:6, 10:25

GUARD

I want you always to be diligent to guard your heart.  I am your "Good Shepherd," and I do lead you into paths of righteousness for My name's sake.  You are one who bears My name and because of that you represent Me on Earth.  This is why it is important that you guard your heart with all diligence because out of your heart come all the issues of life.

What you speak and what you do are rooted in your heart.  The gates to your heart that I want you to guard are your eye gate, mouth gate, and hearing gate.  What you see, what you speak, and what you hear will fill your heart and your mind with worldly thoughts or with thoughts that are centered on Me.

When you offer your body as a living sacrifice to Me daily and declare that you want to be dead to sin and alive to Me, you are also committing yourself to guard your heart with all diligence.  Ask My Holy Spirit today to help you hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil.

PROVERBS 4:23; ROMANS 12:1

NEVERTHELSS

You will see the word, "Nevertheless," throughout My Word.  I am a "Nevertheless God" Who sees your trying times, but "nevertheless" I have plans to deliver you.  I always deliver those who are My beloved. 

I know that you live in trying times, and that it seems like things cannot get any darker in this world.  You also often face trials that seem insurmountable.  However, "nevertheless" I have a way of escape for you.

When things seem to overwhelm you, remember that I am a "Nevertheless God," Who always has plans for you for good, not for evil, to give you a purpose and a hope and an expected end.

1 CORINTHIANS 10:13; PSALM 31:22; PROVERBS 19:21;JEREMIAH 29:11

ROOTS

I want you and all My beloved to be rooted in My love.  Allow My Spirit to develop those roots deeply in your heart.  Only My Spirit can develop and water those roots as you yield yourself to His work within your heart.

The deep root of My forgiveness enable you to have good relationships with others.  The wide root of My truth will help you spread the good news of My love out of your heart and mouth to others.  The high root of My grace is the root that will develop all the fruits of My love (joy, peace, faithfulness, kindness, goodness, meekness, and self control and patience.  It is impossible for you to develop the fruit of My love without My grace (the supernatural power to do what is impossible in the natural).  The long root of My mercy will help you forbear with others.

Ask My Spirit to root and ground you in My love.  This is His job and He longs to conform you into My image and to perfect My love in you.

EPHESIANS 3:17-20; GALATIANS 5:22-23

REQUEST

When Queen Esther went before the king, she did not have full confidence that the king would grant her request  To her surprise, the king offered her up to half of his kingdom because he loved her.  When you come to Me with your requests, you can come boldly into My throne room with full confidence. When I shed My blood to forgive you of your sins, I purchased  you the right to come boldly to present your requests to Me.


Now even today, you can have full confidence that whenever you pray anything according to My will that I hear you.  I not only hear you, but I also gladly grant you the petitions that you requested of Me. Today I offer you more than just half of My kingdom.  I offer you My whole kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.


1 JOHN 5:14-15; ROMANS 14:17

COMPLETE

I know how you want to complete everything that you begin.  I like to do the same,  I am the author and the finisher of your faith,  That good work that I began in you I plan to complete. 


You are complete in Me.  I want you to have faith that I will always give you the faith that you need to complete all the works that I have planned for you to complete since the foundation of the world.


Enjoy daily your walk with Me, and do not ever doubt that you will complete what I have called you to do,

DEMONSTRATE

Most everyone wants to see a demonstration of My power on Earth.  When My Word was preached in the early days of the church, signs and wonders always followed.  The same is true today.


When My Word is mixed with the faith of the hearers, signs and wonders will always follow.  The problem in many countries today including yours is that many believers are not reading, declaring, and obeying My Word.


Pray for your church today that My Word will be presented with the power of My anointing and that the hearers will reach out to Me in faith believing that what I say in My Word is true.  Pursue this request persistently, and you will soon see a demonstration of My power in your church.


ACTS 14:3

REFORMATION

There was a time in history when the Church on Earth split and formed different denominations.  My plan for the church has always been to unify My true believers into a remnant that would stand through every trial and persecution.

The reformation that I am interested in is the reformation of each true believer.  By that I mean, that My Holy Spirit has the assignment to reform each believer into My image.  You are being changed from glory to glory as you submit yourself to this work of My Spirit.

When My Church on Earth becomes more like Me, there will be unity, not based on the doctrines of men, but based on My Holy Word.  Pray today that My beloved will love one another as I have loved them, and that their prayers would become a symphony of harmony and agreement ascending to My throne room.  The one common denominator of all believers is their faith in Me.

2 CORINTHIANS 3:18

RECOVERY

When I walked on Earth, I was in the recovery business.  I healed all those who came to Me, and they recovered from their illnesses.  I am still in the recovery business.  In the age you live, people who have had surgery must stay in a recovery room for an hour or more until they have recovered from the anesthesia that was ministered to them.

Fear is the anesthesia that My enemy uses to paralyze his victims so that he can do more diabolical surgery on them.  I do not want you ever to be afraid.  I am with you always.  Every day I want you to enter My recovery room where I can heal your broken heart and calm all of your fears.

Today remain in My recovery room and allow Me to minister to you and complete the physical and emotional healing that I desire for you to have.  I came to heal the broken hearted and to liberate everyone who has been under My enemy's anesthesia (fear).

ISAIAH 61:1-3

HURRY

Everyone on Earth seems to be in such a hurry on Earth.  So many feel like the world will come to an end if they do not get their "To Do List" done in a day's time. 

My desire is that My beloved slow down.  It is My enemy that wants you to do things in a hurried way.  He wants you to speak before you think about what you are about to say.  He wants you to hurry and make decisions that are not according to My Word.

Today slow down.  In quietness and confidence will be your peace.  Commit your day to Me and allow Me to give you the wisdom and the confidence to move quietly through the day without arguments, frustrations, and irritations.  I give you My peace today.

ISAIAH 30:15

CORRECTION

When you were a child, your parents had the responsibility to correct you.  They taught you and disciplined you.  When you did not follow their instructions, you usually were disciplined in such a way that you knew the next time you disobeyed, there would be consequences.

My Father is a good disciplinarian.  However, He does not use a physical rod to correct you in order to get you on the right path.  My Father sent Me to be your "Good Shepherd," and it is My responsibility to lead you in paths of righteousness.  When you begin to stray, I pull you back on the right path by speaking to your heart thru My Holy Spirit.

My Father has also given you His Word to lead you into all truth.  My Word is given to you for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction.  Today study My Word and apply the knowledge you gain to your every day life.  Wisdom is applied knowledge.  Hide My Word in your heart so that you will not stray off the righteous path I have prepared for you to walk on daily.

LISTEN

I know how you enjoy hearing the gentle rain as it falls on your roof top.  It makes you feel cozy in your home, and you usually have the desire to turn on a light and read a good book.

Today as you listen to the gentle rain outside, I want you to listen to the gentle voice of My Spirit as He speaks to you.  I want you to turn on the light of the Spirit, and allow Him to reveal and enlighten your mind to understand what is written in My Word.  The best book you could ever read is My Word.

My Spirit came to comfort you, and only He has the ability to give you the cozy security of My extravagant love for you.  Enjoy this rainy day, read My Word, and allow My Spirit to rain His blessings upon you as He teaches and leads you into all the truths about Me.
