PERISH

Most everyone wants to know the end of a story.  In fact, many read the last chapter in a book to see how it ends. If the book has a happy ending, then they will read it.

You have the opportunity daily to read My Word, and My Word does tell you what will happen in the last days.  My friend Peter wrote about how the earth will be burned and then there will be a new heaven and a new earth.

I do not want any perish in the world, and this is why it is so important for you to share My gospel with others as the time draws near to the end of time.  I know you want all those you meet to have the everlasting life that I have promised all who will believe in Me.

2 PETER 3:1-9; JOHN 3:16

ANALYSIS

It is the nature of people to analyze situations that have caused broken relationships.  Often people who have been hurt in relationships will feel guilty because they think they did something wrong to cause a tense relationship.

There is a place is life where analysis of information is vital such as planning budgets and making business decisions.  However, analysis of human relationships is not productive because only I am able to tell what is in the hearts of others.

I want to challenge you today.  Instead of analyzing what you did wrong to cause a rift in a relationship, release the hearts of those involved to Me.  Try not to be burdened down with thoughts of justifying yourself or making excuses.  Only I can fight the spiritual battles needed to mend broken hearts. Put the breastplate of righteousness on you daily and this will protect you from further wounding. You put on the breastplate of righteousness by declaring that your righteousness is of Me.

ISAIAH 54:17; EPHESIANS 6:14

HELP!!

The cry for help is universal.  The sad news is that many do not know where to go for help.  Our help comes from the Lord and His Word.  If we go anywhere else for help, the help we will receive is only temporary.

I knew that My disciples would feel abandoned by Me when I left them.  They lacked direction because I had been their leader for over three years while I walked on Earth. 

When I told them that I would not leave them as orphans, but that I would send them a "Helper," they did not understand what I meant.  However, when My Spirit was poured out upon them as they gathered in that upper room, they were immersed in My power.  You have that same power.  Tap into My power to help you today and everyday.

PSALM 28:7

UNIQUE

I never was a parent, but I know what family life is all about.  I was born into the family on earth  that  My Father arranged for Me.

Even before that time, I was in a family.  From the beginning, I was with My Father and I was His Son.  Holy Spirit was also from the beginning.  Holy Spirit has all the attributes of a mother.  He comforts, teaches, and nurtures.  My family in heaven is definitely unique.

Parents often show favoritism towards one child in the family. When this happens, jealousy and rejection can develop.  To avoid favoritism in families, I challenge parents today to love their children with My love.  My love appreciates the uniqueness in each person.  Meditate today on the fact that I am no respecter of persons. I want you to display that same characteristic to all you may meet today. Love others with My love.

REVERSE

Sometimes when relationships do not work out, you wish you could reverse your past with such people and start all over again.  New beginnings are wonderful, and I have given you a way to heal relationships.

I have given all those who believe in Me the ministry of reconciliation.  You are called to forgive even as I have forgiven you.  That forgiveness is total forgiveness which means I remember your sins no more  Everyday can be a new beginning for you.

Your relationship with Me is one relationship that will never have to be reversed because I do not even remember what caused our relationship to be strained.  Today is a new day.  The past is past, and you have an opportunity to draw closer to Me than ever.

2 CORINTHISANS 5:18

INTRODUCE

When you meet someone new, you usually introduce yourself to that person, and then that person responds with their personal introduction.  The usual questions follow such as, "Where do you live? What do you do for a living?"

I need no introduction to you.  In fact, all that you need to know about Me is written in My Word.
You also do not need to introduce yourself to Me because I even know how many hairs you have on your head.

One of the greatest joys you have in this life is getting to know Me more intimately day by day.  As you read My Word, ask My Holy Spirit to reveal to you something new about Me. My Spirit came to bring to your remembrance everything that I said and did while I walked on Earth.

RETAINING

I had hoped that all the teachings I gave to My disciples would be retained in their memory.  However, that was not the case.  It was not until My Holy Spirit was breathed into them that they began to understand that it was My Father's will to gift Me to the world as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.

After the Holy Spirit came upon them in power, they then were able to have that special anointing that enabled them to not only retain My teachings, but also to share and write about those teachings.

The Holy Spirit was given to bring all things to the remembrance that I had taught them through the little over three years that I walked on Earth.  Today, ask My Holy Spirit to help you retain what you learn from My Word as you read it daily.

JOHN 14:26

FLEE

There are several verses in My Word that mention the word, "flee."  Paul warned Timothy to flee youthful lusts.  Seducing spirits are on the prowl to capture the young generation, but he will have no success if young people will refuse to open the door when Satan knocks on door of the three lusts that all mankind have.

Those three lusts are the lust of the flesh (seeking to satisfy our five senses in an addictive way); the lust of the eyes (the imaginations and longings in our minds); and the lust of the pride of life (putting our trust in ourselves and the world system more than we put our trust in God).

There is a promise of God that includes this word, "flee." Isaiah prophesied that the redeemed of the Lord will return to Zion with songs of joy and gladness, and sorrow and mourning will flee away. Today sing to the Lord all the day long, and you will be protected against the plan of the enemy to take advantage of your lusts and still your joy.

2 TIMOTHY 2:22; ISAIAH 35:10

DIFFERENCE

I have heard the expression, "What difference does it make?"  People usually say this when they do not understand that everything in this life does make a difference.

What you do and say in this life can make a difference in your family relationships, your church relationships, your work relationships, and even strangers you may meet today.  Most of all what you do and say daily can make a huge difference in My kingdom on earth.

When you accepted Me as your Lord and Savior, I made an eternal difference in your life.  On the day you were born of My Spirit, you entered My kingdom that is filled with My righteousness, My peace, and My joy.  Now I challenge you today to make a difference in many lives by sharing with them what a difference I have made in your life.

ROMANS 14:17

TRAVEL

When you are about to travel to a place, you need to know your destination, and you also need to make all the needed preparations for your trip.

You can praise Me today because you do know where your final destination will be. It is beyond your natural mind to envision your travel to heaven, but rest assured you will safely be escorted by My angels to be with Me for all eternity.

Today I want you to set your affections on the things that are above, instead of focusing on the things of this earth.  Although, I do not want you to be so  heavenly minded that you are no earthly good.

The  preparation for your final journey is simple.  Abide in Me. Abide in My Word, and abide in My love.  When you do those three things daily, I will greet you at your final destination with, "Well done, My good and faithful servant."

COLOSSIANS 3:2; JOHN 15

VISIONS

My Word says that old men will dream dreams and that young men will see visions.  My Word also says that without a vision, people perish.

I want you always to have a vision.  Ask Me to give you a faith vision for yourself.  A faith vision will help you see what I want you to accomplish in My kingdom in the future.  Faith is the evidence of things not seen.  You cannot predict your future, but your days are all written in your Book of Life.

When you ask Me to give you a faith vision, I am then able to give you the steps of faith that you need to take to fulfill the works that I have designed for you to do on Earth.  Write down the vision I give you and make it clear.  You will then see that vision unfold before your eyes.

TREMBLE

There are many things in your life that can cause you to tremble.  Fear sometimes causes you to tremble.  A bad report about the loss of your health or a job can cause you to tremble.

There is something, however, that is eternal that can cause you to tremble.  My Word is eternal, and if you are not walking in My light, it is designed to make you tremble so much that you will repent of whatever darkness you allowed to rob you from being a shining light for Me on this Earth.

The children of Israel trembled at My commandments because they realized how they willingly disobeyed My commandments. The psalmist David wrote: "My flesh trembles for fear of You, and I am afraid of Your judgments." Pray for those you know today who need to repent of walking in their flesh instead of walking in My Spirit. Also examine your own heart.

APPROVAL

People usually seek the approval of others, and this is why they seek to please others.




People who seek the approval of others often fall into the pattern of being "people pleasers."  Whenever you seek to please others just to gain their approval, you are in pride.  Pride is always self-seeking.

I want you to seek to please Me, but never seek to please Me to gain My approval.  I already approve of you.  I see you perfect and complete in Me.  I gave My life to purchase you both eternal forgiveness and eternal approval.

If you want to please Me, allow My presence within you to be demonstrated to others by acts of faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please Me. Have complete faith in Me, and recognize that without Me you can do nothing.  In Me you live and move and have your being.

HEBREWS 11:6; JOHN 15:5; ACTS 17:28

MEMORY

When a beloved one dies, you want to keep that person's memory alive.  My Holy Spirit can help you with that desire because He was able to bring everything that I said to the remembrance of My disciples.  

As you think about the good things you experienced with that beloved one, ask My Holy Spirit to send you a picture of the exact scene you are trying to remember and the specific conversations that took place in that scene..

My Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth Who is able to bring truths from My Word to your remembrance.  You can rest assured if your beloved one was made righteous through My shed blood because that one had faith in Me, the memory of that righteous person becomes an everlasting remembrance to  all those who knew that person.

CONTRITE

I am attracted to those who have contrite hearts.  People with contrite hearts recognize their weaknesses, and they are willing to humble themselves by asking for My help to strengthen them.

I came to heal broken hearts and to liberate those who are bound.  Your prayers for others have an impact in My throne room.  As you lift up those you know who have not even cried out for My help, I hear those prayers and I answer.

Often people who need help do not know where to go for help.  They busy themselves to try to forget that something is missing in their lives, and they do not admit to others that they need help.  When you pray for a person who does not yet have a contrite heart, your prayers will open the door for Me to speak to them and help them.  Sometimes people are too proud to ask for help.

CONVEY

Sometimes it is hard to convey to others what is in your heart.  Words often are insufficient to describe the fulness of joy that I can supply hearts.

Even during grieving times, I am able to fill your heart with My joy that will strengthen you through lengthy or horrific trials.

The way to stay filled with My joy is very simple.  Spend time in My presence.  In My presence is fulness of joy and at My right hand are pleasures forever more.  Today and every day spend time with Me before you leave for work or school.  You will be surprised at the strength you will have throughout the day.
