I know how you like to make the best selections of restaurants, clothes, and places to visit. I was faced with the privilege of selecting twelve disciples to walk with Me when I was on earth. I knew that I could not depend upon my own wisdom. I had to spend much time in prayer with My Father before I made My final decision.

APPEARANCES
It is so easy to judge people by their appearance. However, My Father looks at the hearts of people. There is no way you can judge another person's heart or the motivation of their heart. Of course, I want you to take care of your outward appearance because you represent My glory on earth. In fact, you are My glory and My praise.
People now days spend too much time trying to please others by how they look. I would much rather you spend time beholding Me. When you behold Me, you are transformed into My likeness. My glory will shine through you.
Take time also everyday to look into the mirror of My Word. My word will reveal to you those things that need to be transformed in your life. Understand that you cannot with your own self-effort transform yourself. You will be transformed and renewed as you spend time in My presence and time in My Word.

CALCULATING
I know how you wish you could calculate just what the future will hold for you. You want to know events to plan for and what circumstances you might avoid if you ask for My wisdom before those circumstances occur.
I have not given you the ability to know what your future holds simply because I hold your future, and that is all you need to know. When your security is in Me, you do not have the need to know what will happen in the future to you. I have a designed plan for you and rest assured that My plans for you are for good, not for evil to give you a purpose and a hope in life.
Rest your future into My hands and cease from trying to figure things out. Instead, give Me your days and I will cause you to walk in My ways. Give Me your daily work, and I will order your thoughts. Most of all, give Me your whole being in the morning before the day begins to be crowded with duties, calls, interruptions, and appointments. SIMPLE
I know that the age that you live in now has become much more complicated than the day when I walked on earth. It is a challenge for you to keep your life simple, but I can help you meet that challenge.
When you give your day, your "To Do List," and yourself to Me, My Spirit then can lead you simply to do the next thing. When you think of all that you have to do in a day's time, you will be overwhelmed. Commit your works and your way to Me and My Spirit will prioritize your day.
There are many things that you think have to be done, but many of those things can wait until later.
Another way you can keep your life simple is to turn off the worldly sights and sounds that you encounter daily. Focus your attention on Me, not the things on this earth. When you are filled with worldly thoughts, you cannot clearly hear My Spirit as He leads you to do the next thing.

TITLES
Titles are extremely important to people and can either impress people or cause them to be intimidated. When someone is introduced to you as "Dr. ________, you may not feel adequate to carry on an intelligent conversation with such a learned person.
I have many titles. I am called the "Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, All Sufficient One, the Great Physician, the Good Shepherd, the Alpha and Omega, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and many other titles. I told Moses to call Me "I am." That is the title that encompasses My true being. I am all that you need at the time that you need it. I am the bread of life, the living water, and life itself.
Today meditate on My titles and understand that you can approach Me without intimidation. I love it when you spend quality times in My presence. Listen to My still, quiet voice and I will whisper to you the special title you can call me on any given day. Today, I am the "All Sufficient One." I will meet all of your needs according to My riches in glory.

JUDGING
It is so easy to fall into Satan's trap of judging others. When you judge others and speak critical words about them, Satan hears what you are saying. He uses your very words of judgment to backfire on you. This is why I warned those who followed Me not to judge. I said:
Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the same judgment you judge others, you shall also be judged, and with the same measure you deliver to others, it shall be measured to you again.
I instructed My disciples to bless and pray for their enemies. You get in trouble when you speak critically of others and call them evil. Recognize that you are not fighting against flesh and blood, but you are fighting against principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and wickedness in heavenly places. Satan uses the tongues of others to come against you. Be careful not to allow Satan to use your tongue to come against others.

GARDENING
There is much in My Word about gardening. When you meditate on My Word day and night you shall be like a "Tree of Righteousness planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth fruit in season. Your leaf also will not wither and whatever you do will prosper."
You have the seed of My Word within you. To bear much fruit in every season, meditate, memorize, and speak My Word out loud daily. When you do this My Holy Spirit will water the seeds of My Word and you will bear much fruit during the day.
There will be some days when you do not see the fruit. However, the seeds of My Word that you plant in the hearts of others will eventually bear fruit. My Word never returns void. It always accomplishes what I send it to do. Allow My Holy Spirit today to water the Words that are in your heart and then send those words to others in prayer and in every conversation.

TRAINING
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." You do not raise children, you train them. When I walked on earth, My Father appointed twelve disciples to be my constant companions as we went from town to town to declare the good news of My Kingdom. Many of them were uneducated fishermen. I trained them simply by exhorting them to follow Me.
They saw what I did and heard what I taught, and before I left them, they were doing many of the same miracles that I did.
Teaching others My Word is extremely important, but even more important is the example that you set as you live before them. Paul wrote that you are an epistle (a letter) that is read by men. As you yield your life to My life within you, I then will be able to demonstrate My love, My joy, and My peace to others throughout your life time.
Right now you are in training to rule and reign with Me. Read what I did while I was on earth and then ask Me to empower you by My Spirit to do the same. I exhort you today, follow the example I set before you.

DISCERNMENT
One of the gifts of the Spirit is the gift of discernment. This is given to those who serve Me when it is needed. This gift enables you to know how to minister to others. When I walked on earth I was able to discern what was in the hearts of people. My Father in heaven also humbles Himself to look into the hearts of people.
Always remember that the enemy likes to deceive those who put their trust in Me. This is why I will minister to you the gift of discernment so that you can come against the wiles of My enemy when he attempts to deceive you.
The gift of discernment can be strengthened in you when you exercise your senses to know what is good and what is evil. The truth of My Word is one of your mightiest weapons against Satan.
My Word can help you discern the very thoughts and intents of hearts. Meditate on My Word and memorize it daily. .This is how you can exercise your senses to know what is good and what is evil. When you abide in My Word, you will have keen discernment and you will not be deceived.

SILENCE
You often use this expression: "Silence is golden." Silence truly is golden because it is during those silent times that you can hear from My Holy Spirit. Satan is the "Prince and power of the air." He loves to send distracting sounds to you throughout the day. Even in the day that I walked on earth, I had to draw aside and find a quiet place where My Father and I could communicate.
Today, make it your goal to spend periods of quiet throughout the day. I know this seems impossible, but you have to be intentional to accomplish this goal. When you drink your morning coffee, have a break for lunch, and after lunch, just spend a few moments away from what you are busy doing. Rest yourself in Me during that quiet time and allow Me to have time to speak to your heart.
There is much I desire to tell you. Commit the rest of your work to Me during each quiet time and then listen for My still quiet voice. My Spirit will be able to establish your thinking to give you discernment about prioritizing the rest of your day.

DESIRES
As you go through life, you will have many desires. There are two kinds of desires - worldly desires and holy desires. The worldly desires are called lusts - The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. The lust of the flesh is simply fulfilling your five senses in an addictive, obsessive way. The lust of the eyes is simply covetousness (you see something and you desire it). Greed is also a fruit of this lust. The lust called the pride of life is trusting in yourself and your own resources more than you trust in God.
I give the desires of the righteous. This means that when you are walking with Me in the Spirit, you will not give in to selfish, worldly desires. Instead, you will yield to the holy desires that I have placed in your heart. The word, "holy," simply means to be set apart to do My will just as I was set apart to do My Father's will.
Today give Me your inner being (mind, will, and emotions) and allow Me to place the desires that I have planned for you to fulfill. Then I will be able to both give you the will to do My will and also the grace and power to accomplish it.

RESEARCH
People spend hours researching My Word. They read books that have been written by others about My Word. They look to historians to check to see if My Word is accurate. I am not interested in people's research. I am interested in people. I am interested in having a personal relationship with people. Facts are interesting, but knowing Me in a personal way is much more interesting.
I just want you to come to Me daily and relay your day to Me. Tell Me your plans and then give Me your day. Ask My Holy Spirit then to set your day in order and to put you in the right place at the right time. Spend time with Me just one on one and allow Me to speak to you. This means you have to spend a period of time in silence.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of both wisdom and knowledge. You fear Me when you have an awesome reverence for My power and a heart that is willing to obey Me. MERCY
I know that one of your expressions in the south is "Lord have mercy!" That truly is a great expression, but you never have to beg Me for mercy. I am a merciful God. I know when you see tragedies on the news and experience trials yourself, you begin to question if I am a merciful God.
I told My disciples that in the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer because I have overcome the world.
You can always be of good cheer no matter what happens in your life when you reflect on this truth: My mercy endures forever. Mercy is a part of My very being. My love is expressed in four ways:
My love forgives. My love pours out grace. My love is bathed in truth. My love extends mercy to all generations.
Today meditate on My mercy. The next time you want to say, "Lord have mercy!," you can say instead, "Thank You Lord for your mercy that endures forever."

EXPERIENCE
When you are looking for a new job, your possible future employer wants to know your past job experience. You may not realize it, but you have the most wonderful job on earth. That job is to share My good news with others. You are a co-laborer with Me in My Kingdom.
The only experience I require of you to enable you to be fruitful in this job is to abide in Me. When you abide in Me, abide in My Word, and abide in My love, you will have all the experience you need to fulfill your calling. Your calling is to glorify Me daily in both your words and your deeds.
The glorious truth is that you simply need to yield to My Holy Spirit daily. He has the assignment to conform you to My image. Daily spend time in My Word, time in My presence, and ask Me to help you love like I love. I will do the rest. Never forget that it is I who works within you both to give you the will and the way to do My Father's good pleasure.

FREEDOM
I came to set the captives free and to set at liberty all those who are bruised and to open prison doors. I have conquered death, hell, and the grave. I purchased for you total liberty from all oppression of the devil. Do not allow the enemy to harass and oppress you. I have given you the weapons of warfare that are mighty through Me to pull down every stronghold in your life and to come against the enemy when he attacks you.
Those weapons are My blood shed for you, praying with all kinds of prayer, praying in the Spirit, meditating on My truths and speaking those truths out loud, My righteousness that I have given to you, My faith within you, My salvation freely given to you, and the good news that you can share with others about My death, burial, resurrection, ascension into heaven, and My redeeming power to liberate you from your three enemies (the world, the flesh, and the devil).
Rejoice today because you no longer have to be bound. I have set you free.

LIGHT
Daily I want to lighten your load. I know there are some days when you feel like you cannot do one more thing. Your energy level seems to be running low, and you are also carrying burdens for others and for yourself that weigh you down.
Come to Me first thing in the morning. Make your "To do list" and then give those works to Me. Pray that I will help you be in the right place at the right time and that you will not miss out on any divine appointments that I have for you that day. When you do this, I will be able to enlighten your understanding to follow the lead of My Spirit instead of your leaning on your own understanding.
Give the people that you are concerned about to Me in prayer. Lift them by name before My throne and thank Me for holding each person close to Myself during the day. Above all, give every concern (for yourself, your job, your health, or your relationships) to Me. When I gave the invitation to come to Me, I promised to give you rest. I told you that I would yoke you with My Holy Spirit, and I said that My burden is light. I can lighten your load for the day. I know that sometimes you feel like the world is spinning off course. You even feel like your life is spinning off course. When you have those spinning feelings, come to Me and trust Me. When you feel like you are spinning, I am winning on your behalf. I have won the complete victory over the world and the devil.
My enemies would have you believe that I am not in control or that I have not won the victory for you. True, you may not submit to Me on some days, but I want you to know that when I died, you died with Me. You are now hid with Me in My Father's heart, so no weapon that is formed against you will prosper. Do not concern yourself about the words of judgment that may have been spoken over you. Take your authority now in My name and condemn every word of judgment. You have a right to do this because your righteousness is of Me.

When something is weak, that something needs reinforcement. When an army becomes weak in a battle, reinforcements are needed to give more support to the army. I am Captain of the Heavenly Hosts, and I have legions of angels under My command.
Whenever you feel weak physically, mentally, or emotionally, call out My name. My angels will come to your aid. My angels are sent to minister to the all the saints on earth. My angels are the reinforcements you need in your weak moments.

PRESUMPTION
One of the main ways you encounter difficulties is by presuming or assuming in your mind about people or situations. David prayed, "Keep Me from presumptuous sin." You are subject to committing presumptuous sins when you take things for granted or show over confidence.
The root of presumptuous sins is arrogance or pride. You have it in your mind that you know How to do things or work things out in your life. You will not commit this sin if you put all of your confidence in Me. When you presume something, you take upon yourself authority without permission. I am the ultimate authority in your life and this is why I want you to always come to Me before you take action on decisions.

You will not commit this sin if you put all of your confidence in Me. When you presume something, you take upon yourself authority without permission. I am the ultimate authority in your life and this is why I want you to always come to Me before you take action on decisions.
