PLEASANT PLACES

The psalmist David wrote, "O LORD, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; you maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places. Yes, I have a good inheritance."

I led you to this psalm this morning because I want you to know what a great inheritance I have given you. It is My Father's good pleasure to give you all of His Kingdom. His Kingdom is not meat or drink, but it is righteousness, peace, and joy in My Spirit. What more could you want?

You are a joint heir with Me. You can lay claim to all I possess. You can lay claim to My joy, peace, and love that is manifested in gentleness, kindness, longsuffering, self-control, goodness, and faithfulness. Receive this inheritance today and you will experience pleasant places in My Kingdom all the day long.

TEMPORARY

I desire for My beloved to dwell in the eternal, not the temporary. Whenever you experience trials, always know that they will pass. There are two things that you can trust will never change and will last forever - those two things are the Godhead - My Father, My Holy Spirit, and Me. We will not change and we will always be with you even until this earth ends. The other thing that will never change is My Word. My Word is eternal.

When you really understand that I am eternal, that your relationship with Me is eternal, and that My Word is eternal, you will want to spend more time with Me in prayer and in receiving fresh manna daily from My Word.

There is one thing, however, that is changing. Physically, your body changes completely every seven years. Spiritually, you are being changed from glory to glory to be more like Me. Understand when you go through heavy trials that you need to press into Me more than ever. When you do this, I will be able to press more of My image in and through you.

COLOSSIANS 1:27; 2 CORNITHIANS 3:18

KINDNESS

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as My Father has forgiven you because of Me. Paul exhorted believers to be kind. When you are unkind, My heart is grieved. There is never any excuse to be unkind to anyone. I hope you understand that.
I am no respecter of persons. I see everyone as someone who I gave My life for to save them from their sins.

The key to good relationships is kindness and respect. When you always esteem others better than yourself, it will be impossible for you to be unkind. There is no excuse for rancor, strife,
arguing, and abuse. If your desire is to glorify Me, then be kind to everyone you talk to or see in person.

Those in the world do not see you when you pray and read your Bible. However, they will always take note when you are kind to them. Remember that today.

EPHESIANS 4:32

FINISHED FORGIVENESS

When I died on the tree, all of your sins were placed upon Me. That means every sin you have ever done or will do was paid for when I became the perfect sacrifice for your sins. When I cried out, "It is finished," I was declaring that the devil's hold of sin in your life was released. I released you from all condemnation.

You and every believer still sin and fall short of My glory. However, My precious blood that was shed for you purchased you complete remission of your sins. If you say that you do not sin, you are a liar and My Word is not in you.

You do not have to confess all of your sins to Me to have those sins covered by My blood. It would be impossible for you to list every sin - sins of the heart, sins in your thought life, and sins of omission and comission. All I want you to do now is to receive by faith My forgiveness and then allow Me to cleanse you and give you a fresh start.

1 JOHN 1:5-10

REMEDY

Whenever you have a physical malady, you usually describe your symptoms with a doctor so that he can prescribe the right medication for you. You trust your doctor to know what he is doing and your hope is that soon you will be totally free from that malady.

I am the Great Phycisian. I am also the remedy for every malady you may have. I died and rose again to make it possible for you to receive healing of your mind, body, and spirit. I was rejected so that you will no longer have to receive the pain that rejection brings. I was wounded in my body. Every area of My body was touched with pain when I died for you. I was touched with every feeling of weakness (physical, emotional, and mental) so that I can now be strong in you when you are attacked by Satan.

Whenever you have any kind of malady, remember that I purchased the cure with My own shed blood. All you have to do now is receive by faith the complete work I did for you when I died for your sins and was raised again from the dead. Receive the remedy today.

HEBREWS 4:14-16

SHAKING

The whole earth is in labor as the time of this age winds down. I told My disciples about the days that you are experiencing now - earthquakes, famines, pestilences. You should not be at all fearful about these times. I have ordained you to shine with My glory right now. I have chosen you to be alive in these days for one reason. That reason is to glorify Me in your words and deeds.

What you do with your days now is crucial. Seek Me. Seek My Face. Guard your heart with all diligence. Look for opportunities to share My good news with others. Offer your body to Me daily as a living sacrifice. I do not want you to tremble or shake during these times when everyone else is trembling and the whole earth is shaking. Fix you gaze upon Me. I told My disciples that when they see these things come to pass, look up because their redemption draws nigh.

LUKE 21

READY

Are you ready for My soon return? Sometimes that question causes people to feel like they have to be clean and pure, without spot or blemish. Yes, it is true that I am coming for a church that is without wrinkle, spot, or blemish. This means I am coming for believers who know that their righteousness is of Me. You are hid with Me in God.

When My Father sees you, you are without wrinkle, spot, or blemish. Remember how you felt when you first fell in love with your husband. I know that you thought he could do no wrong. I know that you overlooked every imperfection in him and there was not anything you wanted to change about him. You just wanted to be with him every minute of the day.

How you felt when you were first were in love is exactly how I feel about you. I am in love with you. I do not see your spots, blemishes, wrinkles, and imperfections. I see you washed in My blood, redeemed, sanctified, forgiven, and justified by My own blood that was shed for you. You are complete in Me. I am coming for a church who knows Me and loves Me. I am coming for a church who is ready to spend time with Me every day. The way you can ready yourself for My soon return is to be ready moment by moment to enjoy My loving presence with you.

JOHN 15:9; EPHESIANS 5:27

WRAP

I know you cannot feel My arms around you, but know by faith that I daily wrap My arms around you. Whenever, you feel anxious or worried about anything, I wrap you in My peace.

I know how you love to wrap your comfort around you on cold winter days. Daily I wrap you in My joy. My joy will give you a warmth that will keep you safe and cozey even when the cold winds of adversity assail you.

I also daily wrap you in My love. You have only tasted a small measure of My love on earth, but the day will come when you will fully experience My love. Know always that I love you with an everlasting love. You are always in a safe place because I am in you, you are in Me, and we both are in My Father's heart.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7; JOHN 15

RECKON

The word, "reckon," is an accounting term that means to settle and account. When Paul exhorted you to reckon yourself dead to sin and alive in Me, he was urging you to remember that I have settled your account with My Father when I died on the cross for your sins. I became sin for you so that you now are the righteousness of God in Me.

You are hid in Me and when My Father sees you, He sees My righteousness in you. When you understand that I am in you and that you are in Me, you will not have a problem with your flesh. As long as you are focused on Me and the righteousness that I have freely given to you, you will never be subject to the devil's condemnation and accusations. The devil wants you to be conscious of yourself and the ways you sin daily. I want you to be conscious of only Me.

Whenever your flesh wants to be resurrected, say out loud, "My righteousness is of Jesus Christ." When you speak this truth out loud, the devil will have no place in you and no power over you. Remember always that I defeated the devil on the cross.

ROMANS 6:11; COLOSSIANS 3:3

COMFORT

I am the God of all comfort. I know you cannot see Me when I wrap My arms around you and stroke your hair, but I do that often. I make it My mission to comfort you during troubled times. I ask today that you remember all those who need My comfort. Pray that they will take time to linger in My presence long enough to receive all that I want to give them.

I know you have had people who give you hugs and those hugs seem to give you strength. People who transfer My love always give good hugs and they linger with you as they give you that comforting embrace. Then they look into your eyes, kiss you on the cheek, and say I love you. I daily give you hugs like that.

The day will come when you will fully know My embrace and you will see Me with your physical eyes. Until that day, rest assured that My embrace lasts not just for a moment, but for all eternity. Enjoy My embrace today.

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Sometimes you feel that you have not done enough to deserve My love. However, My love is free. I gave it to you over 2,000 years ago when I died to forgive you of your sins. I had you in mind even before you were born. Even your memebers are written in a book in heaven. I know the number of hairs on your head. There is nothing you can do or say that will ever prevent Me from loving you.

Embrace My love today in all of its fulness. Know that I rejoice over you with singing. Do not think that you ever disappoint Me. Meditate on My love today and ask My Holy Spirit to help you comprehend the height, the depth, the length, and the breadth of My love. Receive My love anew every morning when you awaken. My love will hold you throughout the day and at the end of the day, you can rest knowing that no matter what happened that day or what might happen tomorrow, I will still love you.
