MOVE

It is always a big project, and usually very tiring to move from one house to another.  Just the thought of gathering up all your belongings and sorting out those things you do not need can be overwhelming.

There is, however, a move that requires only surrender to Me. When you trust Me with every day of your life, you will be at peace.  That move is the move you have an opportunity to embrace every day with joy.

In Me you live and move and have your being.  Recognize that you are My Temple and that wherever you physically move, you represent Me.  I also have prepared the way for you to be used greatly on your next move because you abide in Me and I abide in you.

JOHN 15

HANDS

The psalmist exhorted believers to lift up their hands in the sanctuary.  However, hands are not raised in praise to Me in many churches.

Lifting your hands to Me symbolizes two important things: surrender and trust.  The next time you lift up hands at your place of worship, lift up one hand to surrender yourself, your day, your way, your will, your emotions, your works, and your families to Me.

Keep your hand of surrender raised, and then lift the other hand to signify that you trust Me with all that you just surrendered to Me.  When you do this, you position your hands not only to praise Me, but also to surrender yourself to Me in trust because you know that I will perfect all those things that are a concern to you.

PSALM 134:2; 138;8

SUN

I am your sun and your shield and your very great reward.  I am the light of the world, and I can give you enough light to take the next step on your journey towards your eternal home.

I surround you with My shield of faith.  I am all light, and I can invade your heart with My light even on the darkest days of your life.

Today, I want you to feel the warmth of My love that I provide and the protection that I envelope you with all the day long.  Look forward to this day and rejoice because I will be with you throughout the day.

JOHN 8:12

CLEAR

You rejoice when you can clear away tall the trash and objects that clutter your home.  When you move, you have the opportunity to make a clean sweep of everything that is not necessary to keep for your future home.

The process of clearing is also a spiritual process.  I want you to clear your mind of every remembrance of your past sins.  The forgiveness I offered the world and to you was total forgiveness of your sins, trespasses, and iniquities past, present, and future. 

Today I want you to believe that whatever you did in the past is not on My mind.  I have forgiven you all and everything.  Do not  allow My enemy to clutter your thoughts with self condemnation for your past behavior.  Of course, the consequences of the sins of the past still remain.  Ask Me what you should do to clear those consequences of broken relationships and other sins. I will help you.

PSALM 103:10, 12

TWO

It is important that you have a prayer partner who can agree with you in prayer.  I have promised that where two or three are gathered, I am in the midst of them.

Your warfare prayers are also much more effective because one can put 1,000 to flight, but two can put 10,000 of your enemies to flight.

Always seek My will as you pray together.  Ask My Holy Spirit to give you the promises to proclaim and claim out of My Word.  Praying My Word in agreement will always be effective.  I have promised if two agree on anything and ask it of My Father, He will grant it.

MATTHEW 18:19; DEUTERONOMY 32:30

SPACE

There is no time or space with Me.  When you accepted Me as your Lord and Savior, you entered eternity, and this is why I want you to set your affection on the things above rather than the things on Earth.

The things you do and speak on Earth have eternal consequences.  I have sent My Helper to you to enable you to walk in the Spirit rather than the flesh.  The works that you accomplish on Earth that are motivated by your flesh will be burned in the judgment.

Rewards will be given  you for all the works you have accomplished in My strength and in the anointing of My Spirit. Today and every day this week, ask My Spirit to alert you when you are thinking fleshly thoughts.  What a man thinks in his heart will usually result in action.  Commit yourself daily to Me, and I will help you to take captive every thought that does not glorify Me.

COLOSSIANS 3:2; PROVERBS 23:7

INSTRUCTIONS

There are all kinds of new technical equipment that you have been introduced to in this age.  That equipment comes with instructions, but sometimes the instructions are so technical that  you cannot understand them.

My Word is the manual for life that gives good instruction for every circumstance and problem you may face in your life on Earth.  However, you do need My Holy Spirit to help you interpret those instructions.

When you open your Bible, ask My Holy Spirit to give you understanding as you read My Word.  Also ask My Spirit to help you apply the knowledge you gain from My Word.  Wisdom is applied knowledge and understanding is the bridge between knowledge and wisdom.

ISAIAH 11:1-2; PROVERBS 1:1-3

REALITY

You may find yourself in a trial that seems to be unending.  When this happens, I want you to ask Me to reveal the reality of the circumstances that you are facing in this trial. 

I do allow trials in your life, and every trial is a test of faith.  However, the trials you face quite often are caused by wrong decisions you have made.  When you read My Word, you will see how people failed to inquire of Me, and the circumstances they faced resulted from not following the instructions in My Word.

I can redeem every unwise decision you have made, but you must cry out to Me for wisdom.  My wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

JAMES 3:17

ABSENCE

I have heard the expression, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."  Sometimes being apart from someone for a length of time will cause you to appreciate that person more because their presence with you is missed.  You think about the memories you shared with them.

Your relationship with Me is never broken.  My presence is with you always.  Sometimes you may feel distant from Me because worry, fear, or doubt have blocked the reality of My presence near you.

Whenever you feel distant from Me, ask Me what is blocking you from trusting that I am as near to you as your next breath.  I will be able then to reveal the block as you give it to Me.  Then the reality of My presence with you will be restored.

PSALM 16:11

CALM

You are now experiencing storms that sweep across your nation.  Blinding rain, snow, and ice are making winter travel difficult.  My disciples experienced a surprise storm that swept over the Golan Heights and caused their boat to almost capsize when they were trying to reach the other side of the Galilee.

Many of My beloved are experiencing terrific storms of trials that cause them to be fearful. Just as I was present in the boat with My disciples when that stormy weather caused My disciples to fear, I want you to know today that I am present with you right now.

I am your good shepherd Who can lead you to still waters and Who can calm the storm within your soul that rages when adversity comes your way.  Today cry out to Me and trust Me to provide My peace for you .  My peace will pass all of your understanding and will still your soul.

MATTHEW 8: 23-26; JOHN 14:27

CAUTION

I have heard the expression, "Let's just throw caution to the winds."  This expression will ultimately cause you to fall into My adversary's trap.  More than ever, you need to be extremely cautious.

Peter lived in time of great persecution.  Most believers were in hiding.  He exhorted all believers to :Be sober, be vigilant; because  your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour."

You live in an age when thousands are dying for their faith.  This has not happened in your country yet, but it will happen.  You are now seeing how various forms of the media are mocking those who believe in Me.  I want you to be cautious, but I do not want you to ever be in fear.  Ask My Holy Spirit to fill you with My love because My perfect love casts out all fear.

1 PETER 5:8

WILLING

When you are willing to do My will, I will lead you throughout your day.  I have given you My Holy Spirit to lead and guide you.

Daily submit your body to Me by committing the members of your body to be used as instruments of My love, peace, and joy.  Recognize that I am the potter and you are the clay.  Allow Me to mold and make you into that instrument that will be fine tuned to hear My voice.

Often I will ask you to do something that may seem difficult. However, if you respond with a willing heart to My request, I will not require you to carry through with what I have asked you to do.  I test your heart quite frequently in that way..

ROMANS 6:13; PROVERBS 17:3

FIGHT

Paul's words to Timothy were:"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses." This is the exhortation that I want to give you today.

In the day you live, more than ever, you have to fight the good fight of faith..  The fight is against My enemy who wants to destroy your testimony by giving you doubt and negative thoughts to steal your faith.  You face scoffers almost daily in the world who think your faith is nonsense.

Whenever those negative thoughts come to you, I want you to respond out loud, "No weapon formed against Me will prosper and I condemn those thoughts of doubt and unbelief.:  My righteousness is of Jesus Christ."  Your faith will never be stolen as long as you recognize that it is not your faith, but My faith that resides within you. I gave you My faith when you first believed in Me.

1 TIMOTHY 6:12; ISAIAH 54:17; GALATIANS 2:20

EXPOSURE

I said, "Therefore do not fear them, For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known."  

It may seem to you that people are getting away with murder.  Exposure to evil deeds, however, in the age you live is almost immediate.  With traffic cameras on every street and cell phones that can record what people are doing, those things hidden will be known even before the judgment.

I have heard the expression, "Big Brother is watching you."  People today are being carefully watched.  People forget that I see everything.  I want you to always bring your sins to Me through confession.  It is futile to hide anything from Me. I have forgiven you of all of your sins before you commit them, but to receive My cleansing and help to overcome sin, confession is necessary.

MATTHEW 10:26; 1 JOHN 1:7-10

INNER

Though the outward man seems to be perishing, the inner man is being renewed day by day.  Often in your lifetime, you have felt like you could not endure during a major trial.  The temptation comes to just give up.

When it seems like you are being hit on every side with difficult circumstances beyond  your control,, I am doing something in your inner man.  I am placing you in a position to be totally dependent upon Me.

You run out of strength and endurance in a long trial because you are trusting in your own strength rather than Mine.  As you enter this New Year, I want you to build your inner man up by praying in the Spirit and ingesting My Word.  My Word is spiritual bread, and it will sustain you when you feel weak in the Spirit.  The renewal of your mind will only come as you spend time in My Word.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:16; ROMANS 12:2

CONFRONT

It is not easy to confront people with the truth.  However, if your want to help people grow spiritually, you need to confront those things that may be blocking their progress.  Some blocks to spiritual progress are unforgiveness, fear, lack of wisdom, anger, resentment, or unbelief.

Of course, there are many more blocks to spiritual progress.  My Holy Spirit has the job of conforming you to My image, but this is a lifetime assignment.

My body on Earth needs to do more than just exhort one another to love and good works.  They also need to rebuke and reprove. I have given My Word to instruct, correct and reprove believers.  When you rebuke or reprove a fellow believer, exhort them to abide in Me, abide in My love, and abide in My Word.  Then keep praying for them to be open to allowing My Spirit to conform them to Me.

2 TIMOTHY 3:16, 4:2; HEBREWS 3:13

VIOLATION

When there has been a violation of trust in a relationship, it is better for the one who has been violated to step aside and break fellowship with the person who was guilty of the violation.  Of course, that person must be forgiven immediately.

The one violated needs to ask Me to help them not to become bitter or angry against the violator.  Relationships are based on trust.  Trust is earned, but forgiveness is granted freely.

Breaking fellowship with another believer does not mean that you will not pray for them.  However, it would be difficult for the one violated to pray in agreement with the person who betrayed trust.
Pray that I will be able to speak the truth in love to the violator so that repentance (real change) can take place in that person's life.

EPHESIANS 5:11

PATTERNS

As you look back on your life, you will discover certain patterns of behavior and situations.  Once you have given your life to Me, I have a designated design and pattern for your life.

The pattern I have for your life has everything to do with your calling and fulfilling My will on Earth.
Of course, you have a choice to follow the boundaries of My pattern or to go outside the lines as a seamstress might do to try to create her own design.

This year, ask Me. to overlay My pattern on your life, and also ask Me to help you by the power of My Holy Spirit not to go beyond the boundaries and lines I have set for you.  My heavenly pattern for your life is much more creative than anything you would try to design yourself.

TITUS 2:7, 14; 2 TIMOTHY 1:9

EXEMPT

I know how you rejoice when you have been exempted from a debt that you owed. When you believed in Me, confessed and repented of  your sins, you were immediately exempt from the debt of sin that you owed.

On the day that you received Me as your Lord and Savior, I exchanged My righteousness for your self-righteousness. I gave you eternal exemption from the judgement of sin and I became your advocate before My heavenly Father.

Today you can rejoice and give praise and thanksgiving to Me and My Father for the beautiful plan of redemption from sin that I purchased for you with My shed blood.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:21

ATTEMPT

Any attempt you make to withstand temptation is not going to bear fruit unless you use your  weapons of warfare.  I overcame the "Tempter" by using the sword of the Spirit (the Word of God)..

 I used the passages from Deuteronomy to declare against My enemy.  I had learned and memorized the Torah from the time I was a child, and it was the Torah that gave Me clear discernment of Satan's strategy.

Recognize today that Satan knows the Bible and often he will twist the words in the Bible to seduce you to give into temptation.  This is why it is of great value for you to memorize passages and verses from My Word.  The only way to fight lies is with the truth, and I am the truth, and My Word is truth. Make it  your goal this year to memorize more of the Bible.

PSALM 119:11

ANSWERED

This year I want you to record the answers to your prayers.  There are some things that can prevent Me from answering your prayers.  When you pray, it is important that you clear yourself from these hindrances: unbelief, fear, unforgiveness. 

UNBELIEF - Mark 11:24: " Therefore I say to you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that  you receive them, and you shall have them (Mark 11:24)."

FEAR - 1 John 4:18: "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment.  He that fears is not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18)."

UNFORGIVENESS - Mark 11:25: "And when you stand praying forgive, if you have ought against any, that your Father also Who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 

Also, there is one thing that will prevent Me from even hearing your prayers. Psalm 66:18-19: "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: but verily God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer." Psalm 38:18: "For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin."Ask My Holy Spirit to bring to your mind those things you need to confess.

ORGANIZED

You love to be organized, and you and many others have probably made the New Year's resolution to become more organized.  Organization is important, and it is part of the creative gift that My Father and I have. 

Think about how organized the Universe is and how even the small atom is organized.  The Psalmist wrote "When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars that You ordained; what is man, that You are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?  For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet:"

When you meditate on these few verses, you should never feel unworthy or useless.  I had enough faith in you to trust you with the very works of My hands.  I know that I mean everything to you, but have you considered how much you mean to Me?

PSALM 8:3-6

DEMONSTRATE

The first six letters in this word spells "demons."  Demons do like to demonstrate their activities through people. 

Ever since the curse was placed upon the serpent in the Garden, the devil's goal has been to demonstrate his destructive ways through people. The devil's curse was that he would crawl on the ground and eat dust all of his life. 

You are but dust, and the devil is like a roaring line seeking to devout who he may.  This year, daily submit yourself to Me and resist the devil, and then no weapon the devil forms against you will prosper. Ask My Holy Spirit to demonstrate My love through you, and you will have a fruitful year. 

GENESIS 3:14; 1 PETER 5:8; ISAIAH 54:17

INTEGRATION

The psalmist David lifted up his soul often in prayer.  He knew that I had the power to restore his soul.  He wrote: "He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores My soul.; He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Your soul becomes restless when you do not daily come to Me with all of your burdens. I have promised that you will find rest for your soul when you come to Me and take My yoke upon you and learn of Me. 

David prayed, "Unite My heart (soul) to fear Your Name. I came to heal the broken heart, and only I can integrate your soul (mind, will, and emotions) by melting and molding your heart with the warmth of My love so that you will be able to receive My love and give My love to others.

PSALM 23:2-3; PSALM 86:11

PREVENT

As you look back over this last year, there are probably things that happened during the year that you could have prevented.  For example, you reacted instead of responding in love to words a person spoke to you.

There is no way you can undo the past, but you do need to come to the place where you can resolve to do better in the present. The major fruit of the Spirit that you and many others need the help of My Spirit is self-control.

Self-control includes being able to control your speech.  No man can tame the tongue, but you and everyone can ask My Holy Spirit to be your tongue trainer in this next year.  My Spirit can help you speak the truth in love and speak edifying words instead of destructive words.  Submit your tongue to My Spirit's control daily in this next year and you will have a fruitful year.

JAMES 3:8

FIRST

It was always in My plan that the first day of the week would be the next day after Shabbot (the day of rest) I designed for everyone to spend time with Me by reading My Word, and communing with Me.

It was on the first day of the week that My mother and Mary and Joanna and other women came to the tomb where I was laid and found it empty.  Actually the hour of My resurrection occurred many hours before dawn on the first day.  I was raised during the time that the first fruits offering was being waved just after the Shabbot.was over at sunset and the first day began.

I am the first fruit of the resurrection and you can look forward to your resurrection which will occur one day. Today marks the first day of your New Year.  My prayer is that every day this year will be a Shabbot day (a day of ceasing from your own works and a day when you read My Word a commune with Me.
