FUTURE

I like the saying, "We do not know the future, but we do know who holds the future."  I am the One Who holds your future, and I know exactly the days that are numbered for you in your book of life.
This should give you great comfort.

So many are trying to predict the future, but I would rather you live a day at a time.  I told My disciples not to take no thought about tomorrow because tomorrow will take thought for the things of itself.

When you truly know My character and believe that your life is hid with Me in My Father's heart, you will never have to be concerned for your future.  All my thoughts for you are for good, not for evil to give you both a purpose in this life and an expected end.

MATTHEW 6:34; JEREMIAH 29:11

ACTIVE

As people age, their usual goal is to stay active.  I have heard the expression, "If you do not use it, you will lose it."  That statement is about the physical body.  However, this principal is also true about all things spiritual.

When you neglect your time with Me and are not reading and meditating on My Word daily, your spirit will become weak.  It is the spirit of man that sustains a person's spiritual and physical health..

My adversary loves to take advantage of weak areas in  your life.  You become vulnerable to the attack of the spirit of infirmity when your spirit is weak.  Today feed yourself My Word and declare My Word out loud.  Allow My Spirit to infuse you with My joy, and you will stay active both physically and spiritually for many, many years.

PROVERBS 16:14

IMPORTANT

One question I want you to ask yourself daily is: "What is important?"  This is a question that is on the hearts of many.  However, few people understand where they can go to discover the right answer.

Our lives change daily.  We have no idea what lies ahead of us in a day's time.  However, I know all and see all.  My Holy Spirit came to be your helper.  He and only He can help you understand the most important things to get done in a day's time.

I want to challenge you today to commit all of your "TO DO LIST" to Me.  My Word says commit your works to Me, and I will establish your thoughts.  I know when and where and how you should accomplish those things that are most important to advance My kingdom on Earth every day.

PROVERBS 16:3

ELIMINATE

There are certain things in your life that I want you to eliminate. I want you to eliminate all negative words from your speech.  I have heard you sing the song, "Accentuate the positive.  Eliminate the negative.  Latch on to the affirmative, and don't mess with Mr. In-between."  This is great advice.

"Mr. In-between" is My adversary, the devil, who wants you to repeat every negative thought he gives you.  I also want you to eliminate all doubt from your mind.  The devil wants you to waver between doubt and faith.  This is the in-between stage that keeps your prayers from being effective.

There is something I want you never to eliminate.  That something is your time with Me.  Your quiet times with Me when you pray and read My Word, will give you a positive outlook on life no matter what you are going through at the present time.

JAMES 1:5-8

PROJECT

I have heard the saying that "It takes a village."  This saying expresses the need for more than one person to accomplish some project.  I like this saying because My Father created more than a village to accomplish His redemptive plan for mankind.

It was expedient that I go away so that My Holy Spirit could inhabit My body on Earth (My church).
I am empowering vessels just like you with My Holy Spirit to accomplish this monumental task of sharing My gospel to every nation.  I will not return until this project is completed..

Today think about ways that you can share My wonderful liberating gospel with others. You can do your part as you listen carefully to the leading of My Spirit.

MATTHEW 24:14

PROTECTION

I want you to always remember that you are under the shelter of My wings and that I have set you in a pavilion far away from the strife of tongues.

When you encounter challenging situations, I want you to picture yourself in that pavilion.  I am present with you.  There are satin pillowcases surrounding your pavilion and you cannot hear any sounds, but the sound of My voice.

What I have described to you is called the secret place of the Most High God.  Remain in this secret place all day long, and you will be protected from the turmoil of this world and the plans of My enemy to harm you.

TEMPORARY

Life is temporary.  When you understand this, you will be on your way to allowing Me to make every moment in your life fruitful in My kingdom.  Everyone born has the same two appointments.  There is a time to be born and a time to die.

No one wants to die before their time.  A good prayer to pray for those you love is that they make their appointment with death right on time (not a day early or a day late).

I knew that I only had three short years to minister on Earth.  This is why I met with My Father everyday, and asked Him to lead Me by the Spirit to be at the right place and at the right time to fulfill His agenda that day.  My Father knows how many days you have on Earth.  Those days are written in your "Book of Life."  Today every minute of your day can be fruitful as you yield yourself to be led by My Holy Spirit

PSALM 139:16

PRICE

Before you purchase something, you usually want a bargain.  You want the best quality at the lowest price.  My shed blood is the price I paid to purchase you when I died on the tree to forgive you of all your sins and to break every curse over you.

The exchange that took place that day was more than a bargain.    When you received Me as your Lord and Savior, you exchanged the filthy rags of your sin for My eternal righteousness and riches in glory.  This was a bargain that will benefit you for all eternity.  

I paid the highest price for you because you are worth that price. You are more valuable to Me than silver and gold. Meditate on these truths the next time you go shopping.

1 PETER 1:18-19

TRAVEL

You live in an age when you can travel the world,  When I walked on Earth, I mainly traveled around the Galilee, Jerusalem, Capernaum and a few other places in Israel.  Wherever I went, people followed Me once I was baptized in the Jordan.  News of the miracles I did traveled fast even though there were no telephones.

Think about how you have the opportunity to share My gospel throughout the world just by sitting at your computer.  You have the opportunity to witness to millions.

Today I want you to meditate on the truth that My return will only happen when My gospel is preached to every nation.  Pray today for divine appointments to share My gospel with others, and even think of ways you can share My gospel to other nations.

MATTHEW 24:14

TRYING

You do live in trying times.  As the days draw near to My return, there will be all kinds of horrific events that will take place.  I warned My disciples about these signs.  The greatest sign of My return will be that My gospel will be preached to every nation.

During these trying times, many of My beloved will have an increase of trying times in their own lives simply because My enemy will seek to stop the spread of My gospel.  When you face these trying times, I do not want you to try in your own self-effort to leap over the hurdles.

Release every care to Me, and when you do this, I will be holding you in My arms while we jump over these hurdles together.  Take comfort in My words today.

MATTHEW 24

INSIGHT

When I walked on Earth, My Father filled Me with His Holy Spirit when I was baptized in the Jordan. It was then that I began my ministry, but first I was led by the Spirit to be tempted of the devil for forty days.

I know you wander why the Holy Spirit led me into this wilderness experience.  I was tempted in every point just as you are tempted today so that you can now be victorious over temptation,  I was without sin, however..  The devil knew that My assignment was to enjoy My Father's creation, worship My Father, and glorify My Father by making His true character known to mankind.

The devil tempted me to enjoy My Father's creation by satisfying My flesh with physical food, rather than relying on the daily bread of My Father's Word. Then he tempted me to bow down and worship him with the promise that he would give me the kingdoms of this Earth.  Lastly, he tempted Me to jump off the pinnacle of the Temple. I refused to take this short cut to glory. I came against every temptation by speaking the Word out loud, and you can do the same.

RELAY

My servant Paul exhorted believers to run the race of life with the goal to win the prize.  All of us are in the race as believers and the prize will be given to us at the end of the race when we meet Jesus face to face.

The race we are in right now is a team effort.  It is a relay race in which the baton is passed from one runner to another.  When one runner has run a measured distance then the baton is passed to another runner.  The strength of each runner is vital.

Every runner is trained to run the length he is given well.  Jesus' words to Peter is an exhortation for all in the body of Christ.  He said that He prayed that Peter's faith not fail him, and it did not.  We join together in this relay race petitioning our Lord with faith that as a team together through prayers filled with faith, we all will claim the prize.

1 CORINTHIANS 9:25; LUKE 22-32

CONNECT

When you cannot connect with loved ones who do not live close to you, it is human nature to worry.  Usually you have all kinds of worry scenarios that run through your mind.  When a disconnect occurs, pray instead of worrying.

I am able to see your loved ones and care for your loved ones as you release them to Me.  My Holy Spirit will give you My peace that passes all understanding as you pray to reconnect with your loved ones.

Your connection with Me will never be interrupted.  I am the breath you breathe.  I am your life.  I am life itself.  Even on days when you do not communicate with Me, I am present with you.  In My presence is fullness of joy.  Today receive joy as you meditate on My nearness to you.

PSALM 16:11

REAPOND

It is so important to respond to others instead of reacting to others.  When I walked on Earth, I knew men's hearts.  This enabled Me to respond to others in an appropriate way.  I did react to those religious Jews who came against Me.

My reaction to those who were against Me depended on what I saw in their hearts.  I saw that the Pharisees and Scribes were under the influence of My enemy, so I came against them.

You do not have the advantage of knowing the hearts of others.  However, when you abide in My Word, I am able to give you good discernment.  It is usually better to respond rather than react to those who come against you because I exhorted My disciples to bless those who persecuted them and to pray for those who despitefully used them.

MATTHEW 5:44

HANDS

I measured the waters in the hollow of My hand, and  I measured the heaven with the span of My hand. When you release all of your days, your life, and the life of  your loved ones into My hands, I want you to meditate on how big My hands are.

I can handle all of your cares when you release all into My hands.  I also can give you a powerful anointing of My Holy Spirit in your hands.

Today I want you to reach out and touch others with your hands.  Use your hands tenderly to wipe the sweat off the brow of others and use your hands to comfort and hug others.  My power will flow thru your touch, and many will receive My love as you transmit My love through your touch.

ISAIAH 40:12

ORDER

I am a God of order.  Whenever there is confusion in your life, it is time to commit your works, your way, and your thoughts to Me.  My Holy Spirit will then be able to help you sort out your priorities.

So many of My beloved start the day without spending time with Me.  Just a few minutes with Me in the morning will help you think more clearly throughout the day.

I sent My "Helper," the Holy Spirit to help you moment by moment.  He knows what you will face in a day's time, so He is able to prepare you by simply telling you the next thing to do.  I love you, and it is My joy to see you walking in My Spirit moment by moment.

PROVERBS 16:3; PSALM 37:5;JOHN 14:18

STEPS

Your steps are ordered by Me when you delight yourself in Me in spite of your circumstances in the natural. When you delight yourself in Me, your focus is completely on Me, and your affection is on the things above and not on this earth.

I have promised to lead you in steps of righteousness for My name's sake.  Those who observe you through a trial will see My joy and My peace and above all My love reflected in what you do and say.
I will be glorified as you go the path of righteousness that I have prepared for you.

I know all of your tomorrows, and nothing takes Me by surprise.  This is why you can hope in My mercy.  Keep hoping in My Mercy, and My grace ( the ability to do what is impossible in the natural), will flow through you.

PSALM 37:23; COLOSSIANS 3:2; PSALM 33:22

MERCY

I often hear the Southern expression, "Lord, have mercy."  I have also heard people who are desperate beg Me for mercy.

The truth is that no one has to beg Me for mercy.  I am a merciful God.  My mercies endure forever, and great is My faithfulness to every generation.

Yes, there were times when My servant David cried out to Me for mercy, but that was before I came.  I am full of mercy and truth.  Today, I want you to bathe yourself in the sunlight of My mercy.  Give thanks to Me because I continually shine My mercy upon you.

PSALM 31:9; 85:10-13; 136:26

IMAGINE

I am able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in you.  It is My Spirit Who works within you to give you My power, love, and a sound mind even when fearful things happen.

I was in the room when your husband was Code Blue.  He could not breathe, but the power that worked within him was the breath of My Spirit and that power delivered him..

I have heard the prayers of all the saints who have stormed heaven for Tom's health, and I have answered.  Continue releasing the battle to Me, and soon all who are watching will see and understand the power of prayer..
