CONSIDER

Use the time that I have given you as you shelter in place to consider not only My purpose in allowing this virus crisis, but also your purpose during this time.

Your words and actions are recorded in your Book of Life. You have one or more assignments that I want you to accomplish each day.  As you take time to inquire of My Holy Spirit, He will guide you to accomplish those assignments.

I know you pray every day," Lord, help me to be on the same page that you are on today in my Book of Life."  This is a good prayer.  Open your spiritual ears daily to hear My instructions.  This is exactly what I did when I was on Earth.  My Father gave Me assignments daily and then He gave Me the power to accomplish them.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:24

CONTEND

The spiritual warfare will increase as the days draw near to My second coming.  I want you to always be sure to place My blood over all your loved ones and yourself and also to use the keys to the kingdom that I have given you.

The keys to the kingdom are binding and loosing.  I play a huge part in this warfare.  As you know, I defeated Satan on the cross, but you still have to deal with him and his demons because you live in a fallen world that was given over to Satan in the garden.  Satan is the God of this world.

I want you to release the battles to Me as you intercede in warfare with the confidence that I will contend with those who contend with you.  However, you are also to resist the devil and his demons by binding and loosing.  The words you speak on Earth will set My angels in motion to help you.

MATTHEW 16:19:18:18;  ISAIAH 49:25; 2 CHRONICLES 20

ATTENTION

There were two instructions I gave to My disciples to prepare them for the time that I would no longer be physically with them.  I told them to watch and pray.  I wanted them to watch out for the devil because he would never quit trying to draw their attention away from their calling to go into all the world and preach My good news after I went to My Father.. 

Distraction is one of the major tools of my enemy.  Now that you are still sheltered in your homes, the distractions of life are fewer than before.  Do not waste this time.

Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you. I have given you ample time to pray and to enjoy My presence.  I am trying to get your attention now that you do not have so many things to tend to.

MARK 14:38

PRESSURE

It is common to do things in haste when you are under pressure.  You can see this clearly in My Word.  When Abraham was under pressure to have a child, Sarah gave Hagar, an Egyptian, to have his child, and Ishmael was born.  Thus the Arab/Israel conflict began and still exists today.

This is only one example of how an act in haste when a person is under pressure to go ahead of Me can end in results that will affect generations.  One of the major tactics of My enemy is to put pressure on people so that they will not ask Me for wisdom.  Instead, they go ahead with their own plans.

Pilate was pressured by the people to crucify Me.  Pray for those in governing positions during this virus crisis to not give into pressure in order to please the people.  Pray that they will seek My wisdom as they consider opening their states, counties, and cities once again to the public.

GENESIS 16:2; MATTHEW 27:24

SEEK

I have promised that if you seek first the kingdom of God, then all these things shall be added unto you.  The things I spoke of were material things like food, shelter, clothing.  You are in a season where many of you are doubting what your future will hold.

This virus crisis you are experiencing has caused many to lose their jobs and the question many are asking is, "Will I still have my old job when this crisis is over?" 

Things become very important in life when you are without a way to purchase them.  I want you to seek Me and My kingdom first and then the things that are truly necessary in your life will be supplied.  I am Jehovah- Jireh, your "Provider."  My kingdom is not meat and drink.  It is righteousness, peace, and joy in My Spirit. When you have those three things, you will be fulfilled even when other things are in short supply.

MATTHEW 6:28-34

OPEN

I know that you are looking forward to the day when all of the businesses, stores, churches, schools, and other places will be open so that you can go to these places without fear.

During this time when you were sheltered in your home, I gave you an open door to spend more time with Me than you usually do.  I provided an open door for you to cultivate more intimacy with Me and also more dependency upon Me.

When you are able to open your door and go to the places that you used to go, I trust you will still open your heart to Me, and allow Me to speak to you and direct your path.  My Holy Spirit never forces the door to your heart to stay open to hear Him lead, guide, and teach you.  The choice will be  yours to keep the door to your heart open.

REVELATION 3:20

SET

When a runner is at the Starting Line, the coach says, "Ready, Get Set, Go."  You and all believers at this time are at the "Get Set Stage."  The time will come when you will go to see Me face to face.  Until that time, I am helping you get set for your departure from the starting line to the Finish Line.

I am setting My body of believers on Earth in just the position they need to be for My return.  I did not cause this virus crisis, but I am using it to perfect My body on Earth. I am perfecting their prayer life, their dependency upon Me, and all their concerns.

Remember when Mary chose to sit at My feet and listen to My Word. I told Martha that she was "careful and troubled about many things, but one thing is needful: and Mary chose the good part that will not be taken away from her." I have given you time to sit at My feet and that is your "Get Set Time."

LUKE 10:39-42

ALLOW

The question I often hear is, "If God is such a loving God, then why does He allow suffering?" I want to share that My Father is a loving, merciful God, and I came to Earth to reveal His true character to all those who would believe.

As you read about My life in the pages of the gospel writers, you will see that I had all power to heal everyone.  However, I did not heal everyone.  I only healed those who God had willed that I heal.  I prayed every morning before dawn and sometimes spent all night in prayer to receive instructions from My Father.  I only did what My Father told Me to do and I only said what My Father told Me to say.  My meat was to do My Father's will.

My Father has chosen prayer as the vehicle to access His power on Earth.  This is why it is so important that you diligently pray during this virus crisis.  I purchased you complete access to My throne room when I shed My blood to forgive you of all of your sins. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY with faith and you will see miracles.

MARK 1:35; JOHN 4:4

NAME

The day will come when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that I am Lord.  Pray for those who do not know Me to accept My offer of salvation before that day.  Until that time, I want you to use My name whenever you pray.

I told My disciples that earlier in My teaching ministry they had asked nothing in My name, but I exhorted them to begin to use My name when they prayed. I told them that whatever they asked the Father in My name that He would give it to them so that My Father would be glorified.

As you are praying for this virus crisis to come to an end, I want you to ask the Father in My name.  When you do this, My Father will be glorified as He grants your request.  My Word promises that just as surely as I live, all the Earth will be filled with My glory.  This day will be hastened as you diligently pray.

JOHN 14:13-14, 16:24;

SOLID

Faith is a solid substance.  When Israel crossed the Red Sea, they walked on solid, dry ground while the Red Seas was a wall of water on both sides of them. When Joshua crossed over the Jordan River, he sent the priests first. It was a season when the Jordan was at its highest level.  As the priests took each step, they were able to walk on solid, dry ground.

When Jesus saw the distress of the disciples in the storm, as He took each step the water became solid. You are in a season with this virus crisis that you need to take steps of faith as you intercede for your nation and the world.

The Highway to Heaven is called "Faith."  The substance that that highway is paved with is the Word of God with all of its promises.  During this crisis, I want you to declare My promises out loud.  Each promise declared is a step closer to Me, and I am the solid rock that you can stand on right now.

HEBREWS 11:1

EXTREME

As you read My Word, you will see how sometimes My Father activated extreme methods to draw His people, Israel, back to Him.  Those methods had to be extreme in order for His people to wake up and see their own sin.

The season you are in with this virus crisis is a wake up call to My body on Earth.  My Father did not cause it, but He did allow it to make all those in the world and especially in My body on Earth wake to realization that they have many idols.

You may think you do not have idols.  However, what you think about the most is your idol.  This extreme crisis is to allow you time to get rid of your idolatry and put Me first.  I will heal your land.  This is My promise if you will turn away from your idols and worship Me alone.

PSALM 96:5; 106:36; ISAIAH 2:8

HOME

Hopefully, during this virus crisis you can still say, "Home Sweet Home,"  It has been a long season of sheltering in place.  My Word exhorts believers to both give thanks for everything and in everything.

You can be thankful during this season that you have a home.  There are many who do not.  Many are out on the streets with little shelter. When I walked on Earth, I spent much time camping out with few supplies.  Pray for the homeless during this season.

You can also give thanks for a loving family.  You are probably closer to your family than ever before.  I trust you are closer to Me than ever before.  You have time now with your family, and you are in touch with family members that are sheltered in other places.  There are many who are all alone.  Pray that those who are all alone will feel My presence and My loving touch on them.

EPHESIANS 5:20; 1 THESSALONIANS 5:18

REVERSE/REHEARSE

The word, "Rehearse," means to "tell in detail; to narrate or describe in detail in sequence and at length."  The day will come when your life on Earth will be rehearsed.  Every idle word you have spoken while on Earth is recorded.

This will happen when you are judged for reward.  Your life will flash before you, and that knowledge may cause you to be ashamed.  However, the good news is that there is no shame in heaven. 

I reversed all you did and said on Earth from a curse to a blessing.  Yes, I became a curse for you so that you are no longer cursed.  You are accepted as My beloved.  When all is revealed about your life, I will be embracing you with My love and saying as each scene comes before you, "I have forgiven you."

GALATIANS 3:13; EPHESIANS 1:6

RESIST

My Word says to resist the devil and he will flee from you.  The first step has to always be taken before you resist the devil.  That step is to submit to Me by humbling yourself, confessing your sins to Me, and casting all your cares upon Me.  I am the One Who does battle for you, and when you submit yourself to Me, I can operate through you as  you use your weapons of warfare.

Your weapons of warfare are not carnal. They are supernatural.  The weapons of your warfare are My name, My blood, My full armor, My Word declared out loud, and all kinds of prayer.  As you draw near to Me, I will reveal to you what weapon to use to resist My enemy.

During this time of sheltering in your homes, I want you to use your time to draw close to Me.  I want you to resist the temptation to waste this time that I have given you to be with Me.  In My presence is fullness of joy, and My joy will strengthen you to continue to be faithful to abide in Me, abide in My Word, and abide in My love.

JAMES 4:6-10

HOSPITALS

Pray for all of your hospital workers who are risking their lives as they care for the sick.  When I walked on Earth, I healed whoever I encountered during the day.  I was not able to heal the multitudes, but I was able to feed them.

I spent much time before sunrise to talk with My heavenly Father.  He had special assignments for Me during each day.  I listened for His voice and I only did the things He told Me to do, and I only said the things that He wanted Me to say.

Pray for your hospital workers to seek My wisdom and direction during each day they spend caring for the ill during this virus crisis.  Pray that they will hear the still quiet voice of My Holy Spirit Who leading and directing them.  I want you also to fine tune your ability to hear My voice as you read My Word and seek the direction of My Spirit. I have many assignments for you also.

MARK 1:35

POWERLESS

Whenever you feel powerless to change circumstances. remember that prayer is the strength of the powerless.  Prayer changes things.

You have something in common today with every nation, and it is not just the virus crisis. What your nation has in common with all other nations is people who are crying out to Me in prayer.

The confidence that you can have in the power of prayer is that if you pray anything according to My will, I will not only hear your prayer, but I will grant your request.  I came to Earth to give life, not death.  When you pray for Me to heal your nation, I hear your prayer and I will grant your request.

1 JOHN 5:14-15

UMBRELLAS

I want all who believe in Me to close their umbrellas.  There has to be a latter rain in order for the last harvest to take place.  The only thing that stands in the way of this latter rain is the umbrella of pride that so many of My beloved have opened.

Pride seeks its own way and wants to do things that will pleasure them and elevate them instead of magnifying Me. Pride causes covetousness and greed.  Pride causes rebellion.  Take down your umbrella of pride now.

I am crying out to My Holy nation, My royal priesthood, to take down their umbrellas and then raise your hands and cry out to Me.  Raised hands symbolize surrender and trust.  Surrender yourself and the members of your bodies today to be used as instruments of My love, joy, and peace. Trust Me to fill you afresh with a powerful anointing from My Spirit and you will be used in this last great harvest.

LIFT

I promised that if I be lifted  up that I will draw all men unto Me.  I was lifted up on that day when I surrendered to the will of My Father and was crucified.  The soldiers that nailed Me to the tree had no idea that they were fulfilling a prophecy from long ago.

The drawing power I have by My Holy Spirit is that I became sin so that the whole world would have the opportunity to be forgiven of their sins and receive My righteousness that opens the door to have right standing with My Holy Father.

Every day that you live, you have the opportunity to lift Me up before men.  You can do this by praying for others, giving to and forgiving others with My love, and sharing the gospel with others.  There are hungry souls who are waiting to hear this good news.  Even though you cannot be with others with the exception of your own families during your sheltering in place, you can reach out to others by phone or by prayer. Lift Me up before others today.

JOHN 12:32; 3:14-1,8:28

WALK

Many of My teachings were given as I walked around the Sea of Galilee.  As I walked, I also taught the disciples like the time I came upon the fig tree that had no fruit.  I was walking in the vineyards when I shared the truth that I am the vine and those who believe in Me are the branches.

Even though you have the orders to shelter in your homes, I want you to take walks with Me outside.  As we walk together, be open to hear My voice. Talk with Me and give Me all of your concerns. I want to perfect everything that is a concern to you.

You may even want to establish these walks with Me after the virus crisis has passed.  Remember I revealed myself to the couple who were on the road after My resurrection. Observing the beauty of creation as you walk will enable you to draw closer to Me.

ENDURANCE

I know you are thinking that you cannot endure one more minute of this virus crisis.  Let Me remind you of what My brother James wrote:  "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers trials; knowing this that the trying of you faith works patience, but let patience have its perfect work so that you may be perfect and entire wanting nothing (James 1:2-4)"
 
This crisis is about perfecting the faith of My body on Earth (every believer who confesses Me as their Lord and their Savior), so that they will be ready for the last great harvest before I come.

Every trial you experience is a test of your faith.  I want My church (My body of believers) to have their faith perfected and completed before I come again.  I want you to allow patience (endurance) to have its perfect and complete work in you. You let patience have its perfect work in you by remaining in joy throughout this crisis.  I know you can do this as you abide in Me, My Word, and My love.  I have faith in you.

STIMULUS

Your government recently released a stimulus package to spur the economy during this virus crisis. This will give business owners, manufacturers, and even families the incentive to keep moving ahead even though the interruption to the economy has really slowed it down.

I want you to use this time when you have to be sheltered in your homes to seek My face.  You have a stimulus package of My promises to spur you on in your faith.  When you declare these promises, your faith will be stimulated.

Here is a promise that you can meditate on today and in the morning.  I am able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you ask or think according to the power that works within you.
I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.  These two promises will stimulate not only your faith, but also your trust in Me.

EPHESIANS 4:20; 2 TIMOTHY 1:7

FAVOR

Sometimes when you may lack confidence in your job or in a job interview, I want you to remember this promise.  "Favor surrounds the righteous as a shield."

You have been made righteous because you received Me as your Lord, and Savior and I have cleansed you of all of your sins.  You now have right standing with My Father because of My perfect sacrifice for you. When My Father sees you, He sees you through rose-colored glasses that are stained with My blood.

Know always that I am your confidence and that there is nothing to hard for Me.  I also hold the keys of David and can both open doors and shut them.  As you yield yourself to My Spirit, I will speak through you to others, and you will have favor both with man and with Me.

PSALM 5:12

REPRESENT

I want you to carefully look at the word I gave you this morning.  "Re/present" has a meaning that I want to share with you.  The word, "present" is in this word.  I want you to represent Me during this crisis time.

I have given you the greatest present anyone could ever receive.  I died on the cross to forgive you of  your sins and to give you eternal life.  This is such great news.  I want you to represent Me as you share this great present with others.

Those who do not have an intimate relationship with Me are in fear right now.  I want you to share how the present you received from Me many years ago has changed your life and delivered you from fear.  Gift those you think need to come to know Me with this wonderful present that will also change their lives.

JOHN 3:16-17; 2 CORINTHIANS 5:20

DECLINE

I know that you and many others are praying for a decline in the number of cases and the number of deaths due to the worldwide virus you are experiencing.

As you lift your prayers to Me, I intercede to My Father on your behalf.  Be confident that I have heard your prayers because it is not My will that people die before their time.  Your book of life records both the date of  your birth and the date of your death.

I do now hold the keys to death and hell.  Your intercession at this time will avail much because I have promised that if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and heal their land.

2 CHRONICLES 7:14

REJOICE

My beloved Paul gave many reasons why he was rejoicing even while he was bound and in prison.  I know that some of you feel like you are in prison since you have to stay in your homes during this pandemic.  It might be uplifting to review reasons why Paul was able to rejoice even in hard circumstances.

Here are just a few: He rejoiced that the gospel was being preached and that I would be magnified in his body whether he lived or died. He rejoiced in the hope that he would see the church in Philippi. You also can rejoice knowing that you once again will be able to fellowship face to face with your church and that through technology you can even fellowship while you are in your home.

He rejoiced that one day he would be able to fellowship with Me face to face, but for now he rejoiced that he could worship Me in the Spirit and know My presence with him. He rejoiced in their care for him. Joy comes as we care for others.  Reach out in some way to someone and share that you care.

PHILIPPIANS 1-4

REINSTATE

Many people are hoping that the conditions they were living in before the pandemic will be reinstated. Realistically, this will not be the case.  Many will be out of jobs, and life simply will not ever be the same again.

I want you to pray effective prayers during these days that those who are called by My name will become dependent upon My Holy Spirit to lead and guide them moment by moment.  There will be a great need for My body on Earth to esteem others higher than themselves and to truly love others as I love them.

The mark of true believers is their love for others.  My prayer is that My body will depend upon My Spirit to show them how they can reach out to others during and after this pandemic is over.
