SOMMER FAMILY BLESSING

Welcome to the blog for Linda Sommer.

My Blog will cover three subjects:

WORD FROM THE LORD, FAMILY, and MINISTRY.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

MINISTRY
Tom and I have traveled the world. To find out more about our ministry you may consult our webpage -
http://www.voiceofthesword.com/.
I will keep you updated on future speaking enagements and ministry developments.

SHAME

When Adam and Eve sinned, they saw their nakedness and they were afraid and hid themselves from My Father because they were ashamed. Just before they hung Me on the tree, I was stripped naked. I became naked so that you will never have to be afraid and flee from Me in shame. I bore your shame when I was crucified.

Your enemy, the devil, uses fear and shame to pull you down. Once you have received and believed what I did for you when I bore the sins of the whole world, you are set free from shame. Do not allow the devil to put the thoughts of shame in your mind. I have freely forgiven whatever you did in the past even though the memories of those things do come to your mind from time to time.

When those thoughts of regret for your past are resurrected in your mind, remember that I died and was resurrected to give you newness of life. You are new in Me and you are hid in Me. When you receive this truth in your heart, you will never have to feel shame again. You are My beloved and I am My Father's beloved. You are totally and freely accepted in the Beloved.
