I told the pharisees and scribes that I was the God of the living, not the dead. You have no reason to fear death because when you believe in Me, you will not see death. Of course, you will take your last breath, but the moment you do this, you will be in My presence.
Paul wrote "O death where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law, but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Eternal living with Me began the moment you accepted Me as your Lord and Savior. Today pray for those you know who have not yet entered the joy of My eternal presence with them.

Lord - Thank you for giving me eternal life. Not only eternal life when I die, but your eternal Holy Spirit now. You are the healer of my soul.
ReplyDeleteLord - Soften my heart toward your people who have not accepted you. Give me the right words to say. Give me courage to offer a defense of the Gospel of Christ. Give me boldness like you gave John the Baptist.
