SOMMER FAMILY BLESSING

Welcome to the blog for Linda Sommer.

My Blog will cover three subjects:

WORD FROM THE LORD, FAMILY, and MINISTRY.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

MINISTRY
Tom and I have traveled the world. To find out more about our ministry you may consult our webpage -

I will keep you updated on future speaking enagements and ministry developments.

HEARING

My enemy will try most everything to distract you from hearing My voice.  Hearing My voice and obeying My instructions are the two things necessary to produce a blessed life.  My enemy is a blessing robber.  He wants you to get in a worry wad about your circumstances, your health, and your relationships.  When you are anxious and worried about these matters, you will not be able to hear My voice as I give you wisdom and instruction.

Take those worrisome thoughts captive and give them to Me.  It is natural that you be concerned about these matters, but I never want you to be anxious about them.  Pray about these matters with thanksgiving and release these concerns to Me.  I will perfect everything that is a concern to you.

Today the moment you begin to worry, release what you are worried about to Me.  Know that I have gone before you; that I am beside you; and that I am your rearguard.  You are hid with Me in My Father's heart, so what are you worried about?

PHILIPPIANS 4;6-7; PSALM 138:8
