I know how you always look forward to fresh starts. I remember how you were so excited to get new clothes for Christmas. You wanted to make sure you were fresh and clean before you put those new clothes on your body. You even washed your hair.
I give you a fresh start each day that you live. I never want you to look back at your past mistakes and sins. However, I do love for you to review the past times in your life when you have seen My plan worked out in your life and when you have allowed Me to fine tune you to be an instrument of My love, joy, and peace.
As you enter this new year, treasure each day as a fresh start - a time when you can give yourself fully to Me to be My instrument that displays My glory. This year let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify My Father in heaven. Have a blessed New Year and enjoy all of your fresh starts this year.

Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
MINISTRY
