The waves of adversity are pounding against your country at this time, In fact, I see the turmoil all over the world. Nothing goes past My sight.
When troubling times come, it is easy to be disheartened and to begin to doubt that I am in control. Let Me assure you that I am in control. The writer of Hebrews compares hope as an anchor for the soul. Sometimes you feel you are going to be submerged by these waves of adversity, but I want you to throw out your anchor of hope.
The hope I am speaking of is not wishful thinking. The hope I want you to have is hope in Me. I am your hope. Meditate on this verse today: "Christ in you, the hope of glory ( COLOSSIANS 1:27)." Let this verse sink like an anchor in your mind, emotions, and will, and My peace will invade your soul.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
