My friend Paul talked about running the race. My prophet Isaiah wrote about walking and not fainting. The promise I gave Isaiah was that I will renew the strength of those who wait upon Me. I promised that those who wait upon Me will run and not be weary and they will walk and not faint.
I also promised that those who trust in Me will mount up like the wings of the eagle. An eagle waits for the winds to be perfect before he sets on his glide path. As the winds give his wings the undercurrent needed, he soars higher and higher without any effort.
Yes, I want you to wait upon Me so that I can renew your strength. Allow the Holy Spirit to blow His Holy wind under your feet as you walk so that even though the circumstances seem daunting, you are still gliding closer and closer to Me. Remember always that you are heaven bound.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
