I know you sometimes wish that you could predict future events. You feel like if you knew what lay ahead of you, then you could prepare for your future. I purposely do not reveal your future to you because I want you to operate in the present time.
Faith is now. Hope is in the future. Faith can only function in the present moment. Faith is based on the substance hoped for and the evidence not seen. The substance that you can place all of your hopes in is My Word. As you study My Word, you will not be ignorant of future events that are prophesied in My Word.
I desire for you to not think way down the road. Instead I want you to walk the road that I have placed under your feet in the present moment. Walking in the Spirit involves two very important things: the ability to hear My voice and the heart to obey what I have said. Instead of thinking about future events, simply ask My Holy Spirit to lead you to do the next thing. He will be faithful to do this. Enjoy My presence with you in the moment and leave future events in My hands.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
MINISTRY
