The word "impact" means to force tightly together. Sometimes this word is used to describe a collision. I gave you this word this morning because My Spirit desires for your soul and spirit to be firmly together under His control.
My Spirit will never force His way on you, but He desires for you to surrender every part of your being to Him every morning. The psalmist David lifted up His soul daily to Me. Even though I had not come in the flesh, He knew Me in the Spirit.
David's down times happened when He did not surrender himself (body, soul, and spirit) to Me. However, he knew how to encourage himself in Me. He rehearsed My works in His life, and this brought him into a place of praising and worshiping Me. Suddenly, his soul and spirit were aligned, firmly and tightly together. It is only when you go your own way and forget to surrender to the power of My Spirit that My enemy can oppress and depress you.
EPHESIANS 2:19-21

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
MINISTRY
