SOMMER FAMILY BLESSING

Welcome to the blog for Linda Sommer.

My Blog will cover three subjects:

WORD FROM THE LORD, FAMILY, and MINISTRY.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

MINISTRY
Tom and I have traveled the world. To find out more about our ministry you may consult our webpage -
http://www.voiceofthesword.com/.
I will keep you updated on future speaking enagements and ministry developments.

PAST

When I walked on Earth, I did not review past events.  I lived in the present moment, and this is how I want you to live.  The religious leaders in Jerusalem called Me all kinds of names and the Roman soldiers mocked Me.  Judas betrayed Me.  However, I covered all of their sins when I said to My Father, "Forgive them for they do not know what they do."

You have probably suffered much hurt from others.  Love, however, takes no thought of suffered wrong.  No one can hurt you unless you allow them to.  When you receive condemnation from My enemy or criticism and rejection from others, remember that I accept you just the way you are.  If you never changed, I would still love you.  My love for you is not based on what you do or say.  My love is based on Who you are in Me.

Dragging up past hurt means that you have not forgiven that person for what they did or said to you.  When you cannot forgive another person, you imprison yourself.  In that prison of "self." As long as you remain in that prison, your will experience more and more hurt.  Release past hurts to Me, and let the past be the past. You can have a fresh start every moment when you become intentional to choose to live in the present moment.
