"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints (Psalm 116:15)." This verse from Psalms is often quoted at funerals and memorial services with the explanation that I needed that person in heaven.
I have no need for one of My beloved to be with Me in heaven since I am with My beloved moment by moment during their life time on Earth. Your appointed days of life are written in your "Book of Life." However, you can shorten your life when you fail to take care of your temple (the body I gave you).
The Hebrew word for "precious" in this verse means "costly." It is costly to Me when one of My beloved leaves Earth because another bright light on Earth is no longer present. I am the "Light of the World," and My light shines daily through you. I need you to keep shining brightly on Earth because the world you live in grows darker day by day.
