I taught in the synagogues in the villages and cities and I preached the gospel of the kingdom. I also healed those who were sick and oppressed of the devil.
Those in the synagogues were familiar with the law and the prophets, but they needed to know that there was no way that they could keep the law. Their teaching was in vain because they depended upon their own works to make them righteous before My Father.
I was able to teach them the two most important commandments which are to love the LORD God with all their hearts, soul, and mind and to love one another. When you allow My Holy Spirit to give you daily the power to keep these two commandments, you will live in My righteousness, peace and joy.
