WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

TOTAL

You can rejoice because I do not grade you on how well you are doing as you face different trials of your faith.  I do not keep score. I do not total all the times you have failed a test of your faith.  

I only allow your faith to be tested when I know that those tests will cause you to mature in your walk with Me. Trials will only strengthen your faith when you turn to Me (the living Word) and to My written Word.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.  Everyone has trials, but many never grow in their faith in those trials because they fail to depend upon Me, My Holy Spirit, and My Word to help them.  If you fail a test of faith, I will give you a make up test.  The next time your faith is tested, quickly abide in Me, abide in My Word and abide in My love. When you do this, you will always pass the tests I allow.
