WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

STRANGE

Peter exhorted believers to not think it  strange when you experience fiery trials.  I am testing My body of believers on Earth so that they will be able to endure the times ahead.  No one likes to think about being tested, but this is a part of life.

Throughout your lifetime, I will allow your faith to be tested.  When your faith is tested, I promise to always carry you through the fire, and I will not allow you to be burned.

I want you to rejoice when these fiery trials come because you then become a partaker of My sufferings.  When My glory is  revealed to you, you will be glad with exceeding joy.  Keep that thought ever before you when trials come your way.  

1 PETER 4:12-13
