COUNT-DOWNS

Excited children sometimes begin the count-down until Christmas way before the advent season begins.  When I was a child, we had a count-down in my home.  The count-down started 50 days before Pentecost.  We counted the days from the Feast of  First Fruits until Pentecost.

So many all over the world are counting down the days before there will be some relief from the virus crisis.  People are hoping that soon this crisis will be over, but no one really even knows if this crisis will ever end.

Rather than counting down the days with the hope of a final end to this crisis, I want you to count upward instead of counting down.  I want you to use each day as an opportunity to draw closer to Me. When you keep your focus on Me rather than the circumstances, each day will not be wasted. In My presence is fullness of joy and in My right hand are pleasures forever more.
