FIRST FRUITS

I was raised on the day of "First Fruits."  This is the day ordained by My Father to present the first fruits of the spring harvest.  A sheaf of the first fruits of the harvest was brought to the priest.  He then waved the sheaf before My Father on the day after the Sabbath.  Then the priest offered a lamb without blemish for a burnt offering unto My Father.

I am both the Passover lamb and the lamb without blemish that was offered as a sacrifice to celebrate the Feast of First Fruits.  No man took My life.  I laid it down willingly as the perfect sacrifice that was acceptable to My Father.  I was the first to be resurrected to never die again.  When I died, you died.  When I was raised, you were raised to newness of life.

I am the first fruit of many brethren.  At the sound of My voice all those who believe in Me shall be raised from the grave just as I was raised to never die again.  I am the resurrection and the life.  Rejoice today because you will one day have a new body that will never die.
