CALM

I was able to calm the sea when the storm caused the waves to rage.  All I said to the sea was, "Peace be still."   I am able to calm every storm in your life. I know that there are times when you are anxious, worried, fearful, and even frustrated.  Whenever you have these feelings, simply say out loud, "In the name of Jesus, peace be still".  When you use My name out loud, demons tremble.  Then when you add the very words I spoke to the storm, they will flee. 

The words that I spoke are as powerful today as they were when I spoke them on earth.  When you release the words that I spoke on earth, angels will come to your rescue.  I am the captain of the heavenly hosts.

I know how the little things in life can cause you great frustration.  The moment this happens say out loud, "In the name of Jesus, peace be still to my emotions."  You will be surprised how quickly your emotions will calm down and how My peace will suddenly envelop you.

PRESENCE/PRESENT

I have a present to present to you daily.  That present is My presence with you.  My present to you is giftwrapped in the Holy Spirit.  If you do not open your heart to My Holy Spirit, you will not be able to enjoy all that My present contains. My presence contains joy, peace, love, and right standing with My Father, and pleasures forevermore.

I am always present with you, but often you do not recognize how near I am to you.  When you ask My Holy Spirit to invade your heart with My love, you will be able to receive the present of My presence with you. Then you will experience the fullness of My joy throughout the day.

ROMANS 5:5; PSALM 16:11

REMEDY

When you go to your doctor, you expect for him to diagnose what is wrong with you.  Then you trust him to prescribe exactly what will help cure your illness.  I am your "Great Physician."  I know you better than any doctor knows you.  When you have a concern about your health or any part of your inner being, I want you to come to Me first.  Inquire of Me.  I can give you wisdom about what to do about your health situation.  I can lead you to just the right doctor who can prescribe the correct remedy.

I also can take care of your inner being when you are not at rest because of the burdens in your life.  The best remedy for both your physical, mental, and emotional health is My Word.  My Word is like a two edged sword and it can divide your soul from your Spirit.  Surgeons' knives are two-edged because a two-edged instrument can cut through to and remove the source of the health problem without damaging other tissue.

When you are brokenhearted about something, meditate on My Word.  I will be able to do surgery on your heart.  I came to heal the brokenhearted.  The prescription that I recommend to you when you have mental, physical, or emotional problems is to meditate on My Word day and night.

CONFIDENCE

It is so easy for you to be fearful of new situations and challenges.  You may fear beginning a new job or entering a marriage.  You may fear reconciling with someone that you have not faced in years. 
You may be dreading taking a new course in school.  You may have a big test or exam that you simply do not feel that you are prepared to take. 

When these situations occur, I want you to always remember that I am your confidence.  Trust Me with all of your heart and do not lean on your own understanding when you face difficult situations.
Release the situation to Me. 

Give all of your fears to Me and then say out loud, "When I am afraid, I will trust in the Lord and I will not be fearful.  Thank You, Lord, for being My confidence."  My servant David lived a life of flight and fight. Whenever he was afraid he said out loud, "What times I am afraid, I will trust in the Lord."  Fear left him and fear will also leave you when you speak these words out loud.

DECISIONS

I have seen how your mind continually spins while you think about possible solutions to your own problems and the problems of others.  Your mind will continue to be a spin until you are willing to lay all the problems before Me and then ask for My wisdom.

The major mistakes the patriarchs experienced in the early days were because they failed to inquire of Me.  Saul went to a medium instead of inquiring of Me, and that decision cost him his life.  Abraham went to his wife instead of inquiring of Me, and that caused the conflict between the Arabs and Jewish people that you have today.  When Joshua did not inquire of Me, he was deceived by the Gibeonites.

James wrote that if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask My Father for wisdom.  I know the beginning from the end.  I know what is best for you in the future.  This is why I want you to come to Me for wisdom. Inquire of Me before making any big decisions, and listen to the leading of My Spirit
throughout your day.  I love to give wisdom to My beloved and I love it when you ask Me for wisdom.

VIEW

People who want to have your opinion about something will often ask this question: "What is your view on this subject?"  Then they wait attentively to hear your advice or counsel.  No one ever asked Me this question while I walked on Earth.  I think it was because they knew what My view was.  They knew that I loved My Father and that I only said what I heard him say to Me and I only did what I saw My Father do.  I saw My Father do many things as I viewed Him with My spiritual eyes. 

I kept My eyes on My Father always, and now I want you to keep your eyes on Me.  I want you to just glance at your problems and then gaze at Me.  I know you cannot see Me with your physical eyes, but My Spirit can reveal My presence with you in a real way.

I recall how you used to sing this song when you were growing in your faith:  "Turn your eyes upon Jesus.  Look full in His wonderful face, and the things of the world will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."  Keep your eyes on Me.  View Me instead of viewing all the problems that exist in the world, and then you will always see My grace and glory operating in your life.

JOHN 10:15-38

PERSEVERANCE

I know that when you do not see the answers to your prayers, you often just want to give up praying.  I exhort you today.  Do not give up praying.  Perseverance in prayer is part of your full armor in Me.  Paul knew that many of My followers would face great persecution.  He knew that their trials would be severe.  This is why he gave them instructions to daily put on the full armor of God.

You are certainly familiar with the pieces of armor -the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, the breastplate of righteousness, the girdle of truth and the shoes shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.  So many of My beloved do not read on in this passage.  Paul wrote:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Perseverance in prayer will enable you to victoriously face every trial.  No matter what severe circumstances you are experiencing, persevere in prayer.
