The word, "neglect," means to ignore or disregard or to treat as unimportant. There is one thing that I never want you to neglect. I do not want you to neglect your one on one time with Me. I long for you to just sit in My presence and allow Me to minister to you.
David wrote that he stilled his soul like a weaned child. So many in these troubled times are crying out to Me, but the strength you need to get through these troubled times is My joy. My joy is your strength. In My presence is fulness of joy and pleasures forever more. When a child is weaned, that child no longer cries in desperation for the next feeding.
When a child is weaned, the parents finally have time to communicate their love to the child in other ways than just feeding the child. I long to communicate My love to you every day, but you must have a time of quiet because then you are able to hear My love songs to you.
