The word, "froward," means stubborn or willful. To move forward in your closeness to Me, you must surrender your will to me. Sometimes you do want to go your own way and do your own works instead of submitting your will and your way to Me.
When you go your own way instead of My way, My enemy can take great advantage of you. You have opened a door to him and he will try to seduce you with his worldly temptations. You need to remember that you are in the world, but you are not of this world.
You are in My kingdom which is filled with My righteousness that keeps you on the right path and My peace that gives your mind rest. My kingdom also will supply you with My joy that gives you strength. Offer your body daily to Me as a living sacrifice to do My will and walk in My way.
