The first question anyone usually asks when they consider taking a new job is: "What are the requirements?" The job you have daily is to glorify Me in everything you do and say. In order to do this, there are certain requirements.
The requirements for fulfilling your job to glorify Me are to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Me. The other four requirements are simple: Love Me with all of your heart and soul; hear My voice, keep My commandments, and allow Me to work through you to both give you the will and the way to do My Father's good pleasure.
Think about these requirements and depend upon Me to fulfill all of these requirements through you today.

INTERVENTION
Some people do not believe that I intervene in the affairs of people. However, I always intervene when My beloved pray. You are living in a day when there are so many distractions that even those who believe in Me do not daily pray.
Prayer is simply talking with Me. Sometimes you may feel that I am not listening or answering your prayers, but I hear every word as you make your petitions known to Me. I know that you feel like you pray for the same things every day. This does not trouble Me at all. Many of My beloved do not even greet Me in the morning.
Always know that your prayers are important to Me. I have chosen to intervene the most in a believer's life who loves Me and who takes time to pray. I love to hear your voice every morning, and I never get tired of hearing your petitions.

REFLECTION
Time spent reflecting on your past is time well spent. Even though faith can only work in the "now," one way to build up your faith is to reflect on the times that you have stood on My promises in faith and have seen Me fulfill My promises.
All of My promises are "yes" and "amen"when you put your full trust in Me. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word. I exhort you to speak out loud some of the promises that I have fulfilled in your life, and then your faith will be built up enough to claim My promises in the future.
I know you have heard of the value of keeping a prayer journal. However, of equal value is keeping a promise journal. You can begin today by writing down just a promise or two that I have fulfilled in your life today. It gives Me great joy when you reflect on what I have done in your life.

REVIEW
The way to effectively study is to constantly review your notes. I have called you to study to show yourself approved of My Father, a worker of God who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. As you study My Word, review, review, and review. When you do this, you will discover the hidden treasures found in My Word.
My Word is presented layer upon layer. I know how many times you have read My Word, but there is always more to learn. When you are with Me in eternity, you will still be learning.
My Father created you with an insatiable hunger to learn. Listen today for the new revelations I will give you as you review My Word.

DISCOURAGEMENT
When My enemy developed the tool of discouragement, he saw that this was good and he rested for a season. Discouragement is a dark cloud that often envelopes My beloved, and keeps them from shining as lights in the midst of this dark world.
Fight discouragement with My help when this wicked tool of the enemy invades your peace. Put your focus on Me the moment you feel discouraged. Recognize the fact that discouragement is a feeling. It is not a fact.
My servant David leaned to encourage himself in Me. When he felt discouraged he poured out his complaint to Me, and then he rehearsed all the victories I had given him. This is also what you can do when discouragement comes your way.

REFUSE
Consider the word "refuse." When you refuse something, you take no action. The word "refuse" can also mean waste or garbage. My friend Paul wrote that he considered all of his accomplishments as "refuse." The only thing important to him was to know Christ."
When our major desire is to know Christ, then we will be able to refuse all the "refuse" or garbage that this world offers.
Today refuse to become entangled with the affairs of this world and instead, seek His righteousness and His presence. Your day will then be filled with joy, love, and peace.

BEGINNING
In the beginning I created the heavens and the earth. The day is coming when there will be a new beginning. There will be a new heaven and a new Earth. Most everyone likes new beginnings.
I give you a new beginning every day. My mercies are new every morning. I want you to forget the past and press on to what I have in store for you today. Memories are precious, but the adventures I give you in a new day are exciting.
