There are two things that I always want you to put behind you. When Satan tempted Me to worship Him, I said, "Get behind Me, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only shall you serve. When ever Satan tempts you, I want you to declare these same words to Satan: "Get behind Me Satan."
Paul, My apostle, always was pressing forward to fulfill the high call that I had given him. He wrote: "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind, and reaching forth to those things that are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14)."
Walking in the Spirit is always a progressive walk. There is no going back. Faith can only operate in the present time. Daily combat Satan by telling him to get behind you when you are tempted, and move ahead and worship Me. Forget the past daily, and operate in the present with faith.
