WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

RECKON

Some people have a unique response to an invitation when it is given to them.  The response is: "Well, I reckon I will be able to go."  That response could mean maybe or maybe not.

I have an invitation for you today and it was an invitation given by My Holy Spirit to Paul.  I want your response to this invitation to not be a maybe or maybe not.  I want your response to this invitation daily to be "Yes, with Your help I will."

The invitation is found in Paul's letter that he penned while he was in prison in Rome.  He wrote these words: "Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord."  I want you daily to pray this prayer to me: "Lord Jesus, help me by the power of Your Spirit to reckon myself dead to sin and alive to You."

ROMANS 6:11
