WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

STAY

Sailors throughout history have shouted this phrase, "STAY THE COURSE!" They also use the phrase, "STEADY AS YOU GO."  Traveling through life is like traveling in a boat across the sea.  Often there are storms along the way.  It is at those times that you need to remember those two phrases.

When the storms of life cause disappointment, discouragement, and even doubt to assail your soul, I want to remind you to "STAY THE COURSE."  The course is My path of righteousness that I have designed for you to travel throughout your life.

You will also hear Me say, "STEADY AS YOU GO."  Storms in life may temporarily shake your confidence and faith in Me, but if you have been steady daily to abide in Me, My Word, and My love, you will not lose faith.  Remember these words as you go through the horrific storm in your nation now.
