FLOODS

So many are praying for their prodigals to return home.  Be assured that I hear those prayers of concerned parents.

The promise in My Word that will give those who have prodigals hope was spoken by Jeremiah centuries ago. Jeremiah spoke this: "For I will pour upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground.  I will pour My spirit upon your seed, and My blessing upon your offspring."

Keep praying for your prodigals, and speak this prophecy over them.  Pray that they will become thirsty for Me and for My Word.

ISAIAH 44:3 

BONDAGE

When I taught on earth, I told the Jewish believers that if they continued in My Word they would know the truth and the truth would set them free.

They answered Me and said that they had never been in bondage.  I replied, "Verily, verily, I say to you, 'Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin.'"

I added, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." Everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.  The only way out of bondage is to allow Me and the Words I speak to set you free.

JOHN 8:31-36

BITTER

The author of Hebrews warned against allowing a root of bitterness to develop in you if someone has hurt you. Allowing this will cause you to fall short of the grace of God.  

The root of bitterness in your heart can defile even those closest to you. Grace is the supernatural ability to do what cannot be done in the natural.

Whenever there are broken relationships in your life, pray for the person who is hurt.  If you were hurt, allow Me to heal your heart.  Then you can trust Me to give you My love for that person. When you do this, you are allowing My supernatural power to work in your life and you will not fall short of My grace.

HEBREWS 12:15.

 

THORNS

When I told the parable of the sower, I was talking about how the seed of the Word of God can grow and become fruitful.

The seed that fell among the thorns only produced a little fruit because the seed was choked by the thorns. Some people hear and receive My Word, but they can not bear much fruit because they are more interested in fulfilling their own pleasure than spending time in My presence and in My Word.

Spending time in My presence will give you joy and pleasures that are eternal.  Tomorrow and every day, take time just to sit in My presence and meditate on My Word.  When you do this, you will have a pleasant day.

BREAD

When I walked on earth, I said that I was the living bread that came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread that I will give is My flesh, that I will give for the life of the world.

Many did not understand what I said.  They did not know that I would be the living sacrifice that was prepared before the foundation of the earth to take away the sins of the world.

On that day when I died on the tree, My flesh was torn, and the veil that separated mankind from My Holy Father was torn also. Those who believe that I died and was resurrected will live forever.

JOHN 6:51

IMAGINATION

 I created the imagination to enable you to worship Me.  When Adam and Eve walked with Me in the garden they had divine imaginations that enabled them to have continual pictures in their minds of My beauty and the beauty I created in the garden.

The eye of the mind is the imagination.  I had to destroy the whole earth with the exception of Noah and his family because the people on earth became vain (prideful) in their imaginations.

The idols that men create now are demonic images that Satan put in their imaginations.  I exhort you to pull down all vain imaginations that Satan gives you because it is those imaginations that cause strongholds in your life.

GENESIS 6:5; 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5

HOLD

Your father always held your hand when you crossed the street.  You had great confidence in him.  You knew without a doubt that he would guide you safely across the street.

I want you to have that same confidence in My heavenly Father and in Me.  I want you always to hold fast to that confidence.

The writer of Hebrews exhorted the Jewish people he wrote to hold fast to their confidence. Hebrews 3:14: "For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end."
