I created your five senses to receive the stimulating sounds of the waves as they crash against the shore, the stimulating beauty of a starlit night, the stimulating smell of fresh mowed grass, and the stimulating tastes of delicious food.
The age you live offers a multitude of activities that will satiate your thirst to fill your five senses, and often those activities will draw you away from My beauty and the beauty of the world I created.
One of the main weapons My enemy uses to seduce you is distractiion. Do not love the things of this world. Instead, set your affections on the things above. I have peace and love to offer you as you spend time with Me. Take time to receive those gifts from Me and allow Me to fill your senses.

RAISE
I told My disciples that on the third day I would be raised from the dead. At that time, they could not comprehend what I was saying.
The same resurrection power that raised Me from the dead is able to life you spiritually today. I am the resurrection and the life and I have sent My Holy Spirit to raise you when you feel down in your spirit.
Today ask for that same resurrection power if you are feeling down and dry. My servant David lifted up His soul to Me. I want you to do this also. When you do, all heaviness will leave you.
MATTHEW 16:21; ROMANS 8:11; PSALM 86:4

AHEAD
I have heard people use this phrase, "I just want to be ahead of the game." They are saying that they want to have everything in order before an event like a vacation or a work project is completed.. To be ahead of the game, you have to review all of your plans and also imagine what the finish of those plans will look like.
I want you to be "ahead of the game" spiritually. There are no short cuts for you to understand what the future holds for you. My Word reveals what everyone's future will be. There is a designated design for everyone on this Earth. However, few know what that design is.
When you study My Word and obey My Word, you will always be ahead of the game. Today, spend time in My Word and discover that I have plans for you for good, not for evil, to give you a purpose and a hope and an expected end.

WAY
Before you had the latest technical aids to give you the exact roads to take to reach your destination, you often lost your way.
There is a road that I want you to travel daily, and you do not need directions to find that road. Every day you have the opportunity to travel this road and when you do, you will enjoy the journey.
That road is called the Faith Highway. When you climb into the vehicle called "Prayer," you can begin your journey into My throne room in heaven. This highway is paved with a substance called "Hope." You will never have a rough ride if you put all of your faith and hope in Me and My Word.
HEBREWS 11:1

RETREAT
The many retreats that you have enjoyed are times of refreshing and spiritual growth. Retreats offer you the opportunity to spend quality time with Me. Some consider this time a chance to forget the problems of the world.
In the world you will have tribulation. This is one of My promises, but I do want you to always be of good cheer because I have overcome the world.
When you return from retreats, do not forget to pray for those in the world who do not know Me. Intercede for the leaders in your church and nation and minister to those in need. I never escaped from the world. On the contrary, I faced the world with all of its problems, and I always met the needs of the people.
JOHN 16:33; 1 TIMOTHY 1-2

RECREATION
Recreation is helpful to keep you in good physical condition. Look at the word carefully:"re-creation." Most everyone enjoys recreation times, but few understand that bodily exercise profits little.
I want you daily to enjoy a different type of recreation. You are a spirit. You have a soul (mind, will, and emotions) and you live in a body. The condition of your entire well being does not just depend upon physical recreation.
Daily, I want you to lift your soul up to Me, and allow Me to minister My love to you. When you do this, I can-re-create the joy you first had when you were saved. Also feed yourself with the bread of life, My Word, and then I can re-create the thought patterns in your life so that your thoughts will exalt Me instead of the things of this world.
1 TIMOTHY 4:8; 1 THESSALONIANS 5:23

APPOINTMENTS
I know how frustrated you become when you miss an appointment. You just cannot believe that there was such a mix up in the calendar that you keep.
There is one appointment, however, that you will surely keep, and there will be no mix up on My calendar. That appointment is written in My "Book of Life". The writer of Hebrews said that it is appointed unto man, once to die and then the judgment. (Hebrews 9:27).
David, the Psalmist, wrote that "all the members of his body were written in the "Book of Life." I know your days, and I know the exact time that it is appointed for you to die. Until then keep working to further My kingdom on Earth.
