BROKEN HEARTS

I came to heal the broken hearts and liberate those who are bound. Healing the hearts is something that only I can do.  However, I use people in My body on Earth to assist Me as I heal hearts.

The process of healing hearts includes healing hurts and removing guilt, fears, shame and other wounds in the soul. I have chosen some in My body to be nurses in the Spirit who deliver the surgical tools I use in this surgical process.

These nurses in the Spirit listen carefully to My voice and are able to relay what they hear to those who have been willing to have their hearts healed.  Often, habits and strongholds in the flesh need to be cut away. A surgeon's knife is two edged and My spoken Word is the two edged sword that can cut away fleshly bondages and hurtful memories in the soul.  Pray for people you know who need their hearts to be healed and also pray for the nurses in the Spirit Who are called to assist Me.

OBEY

Some parents want their children to have instant obedience.  When a child does something that is not acceptable, the parents will give one warning. If the child does the same thing again, the child is punished.

I want you to praise Me today because one of My main characteristics is long suffering.  I am willing to give you a chance to repent more than one time when you disobey Me.  I am a God of justice, but I also am a God of great mercy and grace.

I want you to obey Me simply because you love Me.  I do not want you to obey Me out of fear.  My perfect love casts out all fear.  You are My precious child, and I will always hold out My arms to receive you when you return to Me with a repentant heart.

FRIENDS

The day came when I told My disciples that I would no longer call them My servants, but I would call them My friends.  After they had been tested in their obedience to keep My commandments,, they entered a new phase in their relationship with Me.

My disciples learned to communicate with Me without pretense.  Earlier when they walked with Me, they wanted to impress Me with their dedication to Me. However, the day came when they just enjoyed walking with Me day by day.

I want you to never obey Me out of duty or out of a desire to impress Me.  I want you to enjoy My presence with you daily.  I am your friend, but never forget that I created all things. That includes you. This truth should cause you to stand in awe of Me and to revere Me.

YESTERDAY

I want you to live in the present day by day.  What can you do about what has happened in the past?  You certainly cannot undo people's actions.  However, you can forgive those who have wronged and hurt you in the past.

I want every day you live to be a fresh start.   Come to Me in the morning and confess anything you need to confess and receive My cleansing.  I have already forgiven you.

Faith can only work in the present.  Call upon My Holy Spirit to lead and guide you throughout the day.  He will then be able to tell you the next thing to do.  Living in the Spirit means doing the next thing by faith.  Your day will unfold effortlessly and will be fruitful as you yield to My Spirit moment by moment.

HEBREWS 11:1

BREEZE

There is nothing more welcome on a hot summer day than a cool breeze. That small moment of relief is all you need to carry on with your activities during the day.

There is another breeze that I want you to enjoy every morning.  That is the gentle breeze that My Holy Spirit provides to refresh you when you spend time in My presence.

At Pentecost My Spirit was manifested like a mighty wind.  When you get to heaven, you will feel the gentle breeze of My Spirit with you always.  Why wait until you get to heaven?  Enjoy the fresh anointing of My Spirit that comes with that gentle breeze every morning before you begin the activities of the day.

ACTS 2

PLEASURES

The word, "pleasures," is a word that everyone loves to hear.  Even the word is pleasant to our ears.  There are many ways that people have chosen to pleasure themselves.  During the summer time,
many go on vacations to enjoy the pleasures of getting away from the routines of life.

Few people, however, understand where they can discover pleasures that last for all eternity.  I have promised that when you spend time in My presence, I offer you pleasures for evermore.

When you desire to walk in My ways, I can show you the path of life.  My right hand will hold you on that path of life, and the pleasures that you will encounter are My joy, peace, and right standing with Me.

PSALM 16:11

STORIES

The early part of My Word was passed orally from one generation to the next.  Then Moses recorded those true stories.  When I was on Earth, I told many stories.  Most of those stories were in parable form to illustrate My teaching.

I want you to become a story teller.  When you relay My Word in story form and are careful to include the content correctly, people will listen.

I also want to challenge you to write those stories in a form that can be passed from generation to generation.  Relay My mighty acts to in your own life to others, and you can begin this project today. Remember that you can overcome Satan by testifying about My blood and by your own testimony.
