When you hear the word, "endurance," I know that your mind immediately pictures a runner who keeps running until he finishes the race. You especially admire those runners who encounter all kinds of obstacles along the way, but who do not give up even though they might be the last to cross the finish line.
It takes great patience to finish a physical race. It takes training and time. The same is true about the spiritual race I have set before you. You will face obstacles along the way, but always remember that I am waiting to greet you at the finish line. It is not important to Me that you run faster than others in this spiritual race. What is important to Me is that you endure to the end. Some in this life will have to endure more than others, but I want everyone who believes in Me to receive the crown that I have for those who endure to the end.
