CALM

I was able to calm the sea when the storm caused the waves to rage.  All I said to the sea was, "Peace be still."   I am able to calm every storm in your life. I know that there are times when you are anxious, worried, fearful, and even frustrated.  Whenever you have these feelings, simply say out loud, "In the name of Jesus, peace be still".  When you use My name out loud, demons tremble.  Then when you add the very words I spoke to the storm, they will flee. 

The words that I spoke are as powerful today as they were when I spoke them on earth.  When you release the words that I spoke on earth, angels will come to your rescue.  I am the captain of the heavenly hosts.

I know how the little things in life can cause you great frustration.  The moment this happens say out loud, "In the name of Jesus, peace be still to my emotions."  You will be surprised how quickly your emotions will calm down and how My peace will suddenly envelop you.

MARK 4:39

PRESENCE/PRESENT

I have a present to present to you daily.  That present is My presence with you.  My present to you is giftwrapped in the Holy Spirit.  If you do not open your heart to My Holy Spirit, you will not be able to enjoy all that My present contains. My presence contains joy, peace, love, and right standing with My Father, and pleasures forevermore.

I am always present with you, but often you do not recognize how near I am to you.  When you ask My Holy Spirit to invade your heart with My love, you will be able to receive the present of My presence with you. Then you will experience the fullness of My joy throughout the day.

ROMANS 5:5; PSALM 16:11

REMEDY

When you go to your doctor, you expect for him to diagnose what is wrong with you.  Then you trust him to prescribe exactly what will help cure your illness.  I am your "Great Physician."  I know you better than any doctor knows you.  When you have a concern about your health or any part of your inner being, I want you to come to Me first.  Inquire of Me.  I can give you wisdom about what to do about your health situation.  I can lead you to just the right doctor who can prescribe the correct remedy.

I also can take care of your inner being when you are not at rest because of the burdens in your life.  The best remedy for both your physical, mental, and emotional health is My Word.  My Word is like a two edged sword and it can divide your soul from your Spirit.  Surgeons' knives are two-edged because a two-edged instrument can cut through to and remove the source of the health problem without damaging other tissue.

When you are brokenhearted about something, meditate on My Word.  I will be able to do surgery on your heart.  I came to heal the brokenhearted.  The prescription that I recommend to you when you have mental, physical, or emotional problems is to meditate on My Word day and night.

HEBREWS 4:12; PSALM 1:1-3;

CONFIDENCE

It is so easy for you to be fearful of new situations and challenges.  You may fear beginning a new job or entering a marriage.  You may fear reconciling with someone that you have not faced in years. 
You may be dreading taking a new course in school.  You may have a big test or exam that you simply do not feel that you are prepared to take. 

When these situations occur, I want you to always remember that I am your confidence.  Trust Me with all of your heart and do not lean on your own understanding when you face difficult situations.
Release the situation to Me. 

Give all of your fears to Me and then say out loud, "When I am afraid, I will trust in the Lord and I will not be fearful.  Thank You, Lord, for being My confidence."  My servant David lived a life of flight and fight. Whenever he was afraid he said out loud, "What times I am afraid, I will trust in the Lord."  Fear left him and fear will also leave you when you speak these words out loud.

DECISIONS

I have seen how your mind continually spins while you think about possible solutions to your own problems and the problems of others.  Your mind will continue to be a spin until you are willing to lay all the problems before Me and then ask for My wisdom.

The major mistakes the patriarchs experienced in the early days were because they failed to inquire of Me.  Saul went to a medium instead of inquiring of Me, and that decision cost him his life.  Abraham went to his wife instead of inquiring of Me, and that caused the conflict between the Arabs and Jewish people that you have today.  When Joshua did not inquire of Me, he was deceived by the Gibeonites.

James wrote that if any man lacks wisdom, let him ask My Father for wisdom.  I know the beginning from the end.  I know what is best for you in the future.  This is why I want you to come to Me for wisdom. Inquire of Me before making any big decisions, and listen to the leading of My Spirit
throughout your day.  I love to give wisdom to My beloved and I love it when you ask Me for wisdom.

VIEW

People who want to have your opinion about something will often ask this question: "What is your view on this subject?"  Then they wait attentively to hear your advice or counsel.  No one ever asked Me this question while I walked on Earth.  I think it was because they knew what My view was.  They knew that I loved My Father and that I only said what I heard him say to Me and I only did what I saw My Father do.  I saw My Father do many things as I viewed Him with My spiritual eyes. 

I kept My eyes on My Father always, and now I want you to keep your eyes on Me.  I want you to just glance at your problems and then gaze at Me.  I know you cannot see Me with your physical eyes, but My Spirit can reveal My presence with you in a real way.

I recall how you used to sing this song when you were growing in your faith:  "Turn your eyes upon Jesus.  Look full in His wonderful face, and the things of the world will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."  Keep your eyes on Me.  View Me instead of viewing all the problems that exist in the world, and then you will always see My grace and glory operating in your life.

JOHN 10:15-38

PERSEVERANCE

I know that when you do not see the answers to your prayers, you often just want to give up praying.  I exhort you today.  Do not give up praying.  Perseverance in prayer is part of your full armor in Me.  Paul knew that many of My followers would face great persecution.  He knew that their trials would be severe.  This is why he gave them instructions to daily put on the full armor of God.

You are certainly familiar with the pieces of armor -the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, the breastplate of righteousness, the girdle of truth and the shoes shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.  So many of My beloved do not read on in this passage.  Paul wrote:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

Perseverance in prayer will enable you to victoriously face every trial.  No matter what severe circumstances you are experiencing, persevere in prayer.

EPHESIANS 6:18 

RESCUE

My name Jesus (Yeshua) means savior.  Many in this world do not think they need a savior.  They feel like they are sufficient in themselves to accomplish their own will and to daily do their own thing.  Such people are deceived.  They do not realize that without Me they can do nothing.  They are unable to even take their next breath without Me.

I came to rescue those who know that they are dying and drowning in their own sins.  I told My disciples that I did not come for those who are well.  I came for those who are sick.  Those who think they are well, however, have not understood the true condition of their own hearts.

The truth is that everyone on earth needs Me.  I am life itself.  I created life and I sustain life on earth.
I came to rescue man from self.  When sin entered the world through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, self was enthroned in every heart and the fruit of selfish living is sin and death.  Thank Me today for rescuing you from your worst enemy - your selfish, sinful being.  Because you have received Me as your Savior, I have rescued you from the self-life to life eternal in Me.  I now am your life.

MATTHEW 9:12-13; COLOSSIANS 3:3

PLANS

My plans for you are always for good, not for evil.  I plan to give you both purpose and hope in this life.  Because I died to provide the perfect sacrifice for your sins, you also can know that all of your sins, past, present, and future are forgiven.  Confession of your sins to Me is not for My behalf.  It is for your behalf so that you can call on My strength not to sin in that way again. 

I plan for you to live a life that draws daily from My peace, My joy, My love, and My righteousness.  You have to be intentional throughout the day to recognize that it is not you, but I Who works within you both to give you the will and the ability to follow the plan that I have for you.

All I require from you is a listening, obedient heart.  The way to live a blessed life is to both listen carefully to the leading of My Spirit and to obey as you are led by My Spirit.  Of course, you will have trials and tribulations because you live in a fallen world.  Draw even closer to Me during your times of trial, and I will give you the faith to overcome whatever you face in this world.

JEREMIAH 29:11; JOHN 16:33; PHILIPPIANS 2:13

INITIATE

I am the One Who initiates the things in your life.  I am the One Who helps you to accomplish My Father's will.  There are works that I created for you to do from before the foundation of the earth.  I know this is hard for you to understand, but it is true.  I am an eternal God Who has known you eternally.

Pray daily that you will be able to hear My Holy Spirit guide and direct you to accomplish all the works I have designed for you to do.  Many are called, but few choose to follow the lead of My Spirit.  Pray daily that you will not miss attending any of the divine appointments I have for you or accomplishing the definite works I desire for you to accomplish.

You can insure that you will daily do My will when you take time to hear the quiet voice of My Spirit as He leads and guides you.  Also stay in My Word.  I told My disciples exactly how they would be able to accomplish My Father's will in their lives when I exhorted them to abide in Me, abide in My Word, and abide in My love.

EPHESIANS 1:4, 2:10; JOHN 15

INFLUENCE

When I first began to be about My Father's business, I had little influence on people.  However, those in the Temple were amazed at the wisdom I displayed when I spoke to them at the age of twelve.  Then when I began doing the work My Father gave Me to do, the statement I heard about Me was  "Can anything good come from Nazareth?"

Soon, however, the word spread throughout the Galilee and Judea about the miracles and deliverances people were experiencing as I walked along the Sea of Galilee.  Together with My disciples and all those who would follow Me for generations to come, we were able to change the world.

My goal for you is that you would depend upon My Spirit to influence others.  Always remember that it is I Who both gives you the will and the way to do My Father's will while you live on earth.  It pleases Me when you desire to influence people with My good news (the gospel).  The angels rejoice when only one of those who you have influenced by sowing My Word into their lives comes to Me and receives Me as their Lord and Savior.

LUKE 2:42; JOHN 1:46; PHILIPPIANS 2:13

VISION

Without a vision people will perish.  The vision I want you to always keep before your spiritual eyes is the vision of Me.  I know you cannot physically see Me with your natural eyes, but I do give you the faith and the grace to see Me with your spiritual eyes.  My servant David wrote that he always kept my face ever before Him.  I had not yet been revealed in physical form on the earth, but he saw Me in the Spirit.

When you keep My face ever before you, the problems you are having now will melt away.  I want you to gaze at Me and only glance at your problems.  There is nothing too hard for Me.  I purchased for you complete salvation when I died and was resurrected.  I conquered death, hell, and the grave for you. 

Today ask My Holy Spirit to help you have faith eyes to see Me.  Then keep your gaze upon Me throughout the day, and you will be able to receive My peace, joy, and love.

PROVERBS 29:18; PSALM 105:4,15:15, 41:12,

JEALOUSY

My Word says that My Father is jealous over you.  This means that He wants you for Himself just like a husband wants his wife for himself and wants to share her with no other man.  My Father experienced the unfaithfulness of the Children of Israel so many times throughout history.  He longed for His children to put Him first because He knew that by putting Him first instead of having other gods, they would be able to live in continual fellowship with Him.

I cried these words out loud when I stood on the Mt. of Olives and looked at the panorama of Jerusalem: "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kills the prophets, and stones them that are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, as a hen does gather her brood under her wings, and you would not!"

I long for you to put Me first in your life.  When you trust in Me with all of your heart, I then will be able to hold you close to Me even when you experience horrific trials.  I want you to abide continually under My wings.

LUKE 13:34; ZECHARIAH 1:14; DEUTERONOMY 5:8-9

SHOULDERS

I know that sometimes you feel like you just have too much responsibility laid upon your shoulders.  The burdens of the day can even physically weigh you down to the extent that your shoulders even droop.  There are times also when you just feel low or depressed and you do not even know why.

When you have those feelings of weight on your shoulders, come and rest your head on My shoulder like an infant who lays peacefully on his parent's shoulders.  An infant is totally dependent upon his parents to supply all of his or her needs.  I said that except you become as a little child (an infant) you cannot receive the Kingdom of God.  My Kingdom is not meat and drink, but it is righteousness, peace, and joy in My Spirit.  You received My Kingdom when you accepted Me as your Lord and Savior, but there are days that you do not abide or dwell in My Kingdom. 

When you dwell in My Kingdom, you will experience peace, no condemnation, and joy.  The moment you feel anxious, under condemnation, or depressed, come to Me like a little infant and rest your head on My shoulder.  Renew your dependency upon Me by resting every care you have on Me.  Peter wrote that you humble yourself when you cast every care upon Me with the full assurance that I will take care of you.

LUKE 18:17; ROMANS 14:17;1 PETER 5:6-7

CANCEL

I canceled many things on your behalf when I died to forgive you of all of your sins - past, present, and future.  I canceled your debt to God.  You now can receive My grace.  Before the cross, your sin was a debt to God that could be canceled in no other way except that I became sin for you so that you might become the righteousness of God in Me.

I canceled the assignments that the enemy has over you to try to destroy you.  I won the victory over the devil, death, and the grave.  Now it is up to you to use the authority I have given you in My name to resist the enemy when he tries to deceive you and cause you doubt.

I canceled the bondage to your own flesh when My flesh was torn and bruised.  You no longer have to be in bondage to the lust of the flesh (seeking to satisfy your five senses in and addictive way), the lust of the eyes (greedy longings in the mind and covetousness), and the lust of the pride of life (trusting in yourself and your own resources more than you trust in Me).  Today you can give Me every vain imagination and every thought that exalts itself against Me, and I will do battle for you.
The power of sin over you has been canceled.  It is up to you now to enforce the victory that I have already won for you.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:21; 1 JOHN 2:15-17

DISTRESS/DISEASE

When you are distressed and not at ease, you open yourself up to disease.  The moment you are not at peace because you are anxious about anything in your life, pray.  My servant Paul was under great pressure and stress on many occasions, but he learned to pray about everything.  This is why he wrote: "Be anxious for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

I can infuse you with My peace when you pray about your burdens and thank Me ahead of time for hearing and answering your prayers.   

My enemy wants to take advantage of those times when you feel down.  He would like for you to distance yourself from Me, but it is during those times that you need to draw closer than ever to Me.
My servant David experienced a heavy spirit often.  However, when he began to praise Me in spite of how he felt, suddenly that heaviness was lifted from him.  When you feel down, read Psalm 100 out loud, and this will help you focus once again on Me.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7; PSALM 100 

SACRIFICES

My priests in the early days offered sweet smelling sacrifices to Me daily. When I died to not only cover your sins, but also to remove your sins, there was no more need for animal sacrifices.  However, there are still spiritual sacrifices that I love to receive from you daily.

Daily I desire for you to offer your body to Me as a living sacrifice.  When you do this, I then can help you to treat your body well during the day, and I also will be able to fill you with the fresh anointing of My Holy Spirit.

Two other spiritual sacrifices that you can offer to Me daily are the sacrifice of praise and the sacrifice of thanksgiving.  I know there are days when you just do not feel like praising Me.  It is on those days, that you can offer Me the sacrifice of praise.  When you offer the sacrifice of praise, you dress yourself in the garment of praise that always lifts the spirit of heaviness away from you.  The sacrifice of thanksgiving is so pleasing to Me.  I want you to offer all of your petitions and supplications to Me with thanksgiving.  Thanking Me ahead of time for hearing and answering your prayers demonstrates your faith in Me.

ROMANS 12:1; PHIIPPIANS 4:6-7

THIRSTY

"Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled."  When you go to parties, the conversations often centers around diet, recipes, and types of drinks.  It is the nature of man to concentrate on these daily needs.  This is why My Father instructed Me to instruct you to pray for your daily bread. 

My Father created you with a hunger and thirst for fellowship with Him.  After the Fall, however, that desire to fellowship and break bread with Me was replaced by the lust of the flesh.  The lust of the flesh is simply the desire to fill your senses (touch, taste, see, hear, and smell) in an addictive, obsessive way. 

The way to overcome this thirst and hunger to fill your senses in addictive ways is to make sure you fellowship with Me daily.  When you keep your focus on Me throughout the day, I will be able to fill your thirst and hunger.  I thirst and hunger to have fellowship with you.  When I cried out, "I thirst!," on the cross, I was thirsting to have fellowship with My Father and with you.  Today fill Me by fellowshipping with Me throughout your day.

MATTHEW 5:6; 1 JOHN 2:15-16; JOHN 19:28

FEELINGS

There are two facts about feelings that will help you in the days ahead.  First of all feelings can be very deceptive.  My enemy always works in this area of your inner man, and too often he has great success.  When you get up in the morning, you may feel like just crawling under the covers because you feel like you just cannot face the day.  When this happens, I want you to know and meditate on the second fact about feelings that I now share with you.

The second fact about feelings is that I was touched with all the feeling of your every weakness.    When I walked on earth and died on the cross for you, I experienced every feeling mankind has ever felt.  I even experienced what it feels like to be tempted, but always remember that I overcame temptation by speaking the Word of God out loud.

This is how you can overcome every negative feeling that you experience.  When you feel depressed, speak out loud these words, "I put on the garment of praise to lift the spirit of heaviness away from me."  When you feel afraid, say aloud, "What times I am afraid, I will trust in the Lord and not be afraid."  Remember what I have taught you this morning and know that you can give every negative feeling you experience to Me.  I then will be able to immerse you with My peace.

HEBREWS 4:15; ISAIAH 61:3; LUKE 4:1-13

FAMILY

I know that as you read some of the words that I spoke when I walked on Earth, you may get the impression that I was against family relations.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  The two teachings that I gave that might make you think this way were:

If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and child, and brethren and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Then there was the day when My mother and brothers came to see Me.  I stretched My hands towards My disciples and said, "Behold My mother and My brethren!  For whosoever shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

When I said these things, I was simply pointing out that in order to be My disciple, you must put Me first.  Truly My Father loves family.  He created the first family and He also lives today in a family relationship with Me, His Son, and My Holy Spirit. 

I love family.  My Father loves family, and I desire for you to put Me first and then to put your family second.  See your family as I see them.  They are precious in My sight, and I love your family gatherings.

LUKE 14:26; MATHEW 12:47-50

SHARING

When I was on earth,  My disciples shared everything in common.  This communal type of living is rare in the age that you live.  In fact, many people today do not even know their next door neighbors.  I said that you should love your neighbor as yourself.  Then the question was asked, "Who is your neighbor?"  I shared the story of the "Good Samaritan."  This story reveals how important it is to share your life and love with others.

You do not need to have everything in common with others in order to share with them.  The good Samaritan had nothing in common with the wounded man he bandaged and took to the inn.  You live in an age now when it is possible for you to share with people who live in countries on the opposite side of the world from you.

People who do not share their lives with others are missing one of life's richest blessings.  People are My treasures, and when you invest in the lives of others, you become rich.  I enjoyed sharing My life with many and now I exhort you to extend the border of your own tent. When you reach out to others and share My love with them, you will never be bored with life.

LUKE 10:29-37

Fantasy

Sometimes I know you would like to escape to a fantasy world where people are loving and kind and where traumatic and tragic things do not happen to them.  I shared with believers, however, that in this world you will have tribulation.  Then I exhorted them to be of good cheer because I have overcome the world. 

You live in this world, but you are not of this world.  When you received Me as your Lord and Savior, you entered My world - the world of My presence.  You entered My Kingdom where you can receive My peace, love, right standing with My Father, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Be intentional to recognize My presence with you throughout today and every day.  I promised to never leave you or forsake you.  The awareness of My presence with you moment by moment will give you both the strength My joy provides and My peace that passes even your understanding.

ROMANS 14:17; PSALM 16:11; PHILIPPIANS 4:7

Procrastination

Procrastination is a fruit of your fleshly life.  When you walk in My Spirit and are led by My Spirit, you will not procrastinate.  Procrastination occurs when you keep putting off doing something that you simply do not want to do. 

I know that there are many tasks that you face both at work and at home that are not pleasant.  Give those tasks to Me and ask My Holy Spirit to help you accomplish them.  Commit your works to Me and My Spirit will establish your thoughts.  He will prioritize your day to accomplish My will.

I unfold My will for you step by step.  Simply train yourself to ask Me to show you and help you to do the next thing.  It is good to have a "To Do List."  However, give that list to Me and My Spirit will then be able to give you both the encouragement and the power to accomplish those tasks that are necessary for the day.  Never feel like a failure if you do not check off everything on your daily "To Do List."  Instead, give thanks to Me for helping you to do what needed to be done to accomplish My will, not your will that day.

PROVERBS 16:3

CURRENT

I know your desire to keep current on the news.  That is why you listen and watch the news programs daily.  It is important that you know what is going on the world today.  However, it is more important that you keep current on the good news.  A good way to do this is to read My friend Paul's letters to the churches.  My friends Peter, James, Matthew, Luke and Mark were eye witnesses who observed My life on earth.  Reading those accounts they recorded will increase your faith and refresh you on My good news.

I have chosen you to declare My good news in these last days. Keep your faith fresh by reading My Word daily.  Remember that faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word.  Listen carefully to the quiet voice of My Holy Spirit as He leads you into all truth and brings to your remembrance all I ever said.  Encourage others to keep current in their walk of faith.

ROMANS 10:17;  JOHN 14:26

SEEN

When Thomas had to touch Me before he could believe that I was resurrected, I told him that blessed are those who believe and have not seen.  You are one of those blessed people.  You have never seen Me, but you do believe in Me.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.  My servant Paul exhorted believers to look at the things that are not seen rather than the things that are seen because the things that are not seen are eternal.  The things that you can see with your natural eyes daily are temporal.

My exhortation to you today is to gaze at Me and only glance at your problems.  My Holy Spirit will help you to imagine My face looking at you.  King David said that My face was ever before him.  He could see Me in the Spirit and so can you.  The problems you may face today are temporary.  Ask yourself this question, "What will these problems matter 10,000 years from now?"  When you ask yourself this question and you intentionally gaze at My face in the Spirit, your problems will melt away in the light of My glory.

JOHN 20:29; 2 CORINTHIANS 4:18; PSALM 41:12
