I made all things new in your life when you received Me as your Lord and Savior. I gave you a fresh start. However, you do need to be renewed daily. I remember how pleased you were when you reupholstered your furniture. Those pieces of furniture looked like brand new when they were finished because the old material was stripped away and replaced with new material both inside and out.
Every day I give you a fresh start. Do not dwell on yesterday. Even though you are a new creature in Me and the old has passed away and all has become new, you daily need to renew your mind in My Word. The entrance of My Word will give you the light you need to be fruitful in My kingdom day by day.
As you meditate on My Word, I will be able to reveal those things in you flesh that need My special touch. Surrender every part of your being to Me today and every day. Allow Me to refresh you with My Holy Spirit and renew your mind with My Word. When you are faithful to do this, you will be pleased with the results and I will be glorified in your life.

CONVERSATION
I love it when we have conversations together. So often My beloved only have a one way conversation with Me. They do not ask Me questions and wait for an answer. I have so much that I want to reveal to you, but many of My truths will remain hidden from you if you do not ask My Holy Spirit to give you understanding.
My servant David asked Me to help him understand My testimonies and to see the wondrous things from My Word. This is a good prayer to pray everyday before you begin to read My Word.
As you read My Word, recognize that My Spirit can be the narrator of My Word. He can give you a visual of the scenes that occurred when I did so many miracles on Earth. My Spirit can also show you the exact promise that fits your circumstances for you to claim and speak out loud. Today converse with Me often and call upon Me. I then will answer you and show you great and mighty things from My Word that you have not known.

PERSONAL
When you grow in your faith, you will increase in your knowledge of Me. The only way for you to grow in faith is to read and heed My Word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by My Word. Receiving My Word into your heart as the Holy Spirit teaches you will reveal My character to you. The more you know My character, the more you will know Me personally.
A personal, intimate relationship with Me will help you never to take things personally. When you know how much I love you and you are secure in My love, what others say about you will not matter. You will be delivered from the fear of man. You will know with great assurance that I am for you, and it will not matter who may be against you.
I am your defense. You never have to defend yourself to others. You will never take things personally when you reckon yourself daily dead to sin and alive to Me. When your flesh is crucified, hurt and accusations will not pull you down.

DREAMS
I want you to have dreams that are edifying. I also want My beloved to have sweet sleep. Watching your eye gate and your ear gate during the day will go a long way to giving you a platform for good dreams. My enemy is a bully and if he cannot affect your thinking during a day's time, he will try to attack you in the night. He loves to operate in the dark hours.
Those dark hours can be very precious to you, because I dwell in the midst of darkness. Before you go to bed every night, put My blood over your subconscious and ask Me to give you sweet dreams.
I often give My messages in dreams to My beloved. Ask Me to speak to you in your sleeping hours. When your mind is at rest, I can speak to you. Read a psalm before you enter your rest, and you will see how your sleeping hours can be blessed times with Me.

DELIGHT
I know how delighted you are when you have all your children and grandchildren together under one roof. You delighted in them when they were much younger, but the way you delighted in them has changed since several of your grandchildren are entering adulthood.
When your children were young, you delighted in their joyful playing and singing. You loved to see them share together peacefully and laugh unceasingly. Now you delight in their discussions about life. You see the wisdom they have gained over the years, and you stand in awe of their knowledge.
The change in the way you delight in your children and grandchildren is exactly the change that has happened to the way I delight in you since you now have matured. I delight in the way you have grown in My wisdom and it thrills Me to see you diligently gain knowledge of Me through My Word. Always remember that I rejoice and delight over you day by day. UNDERSTANDING
Ask for a fresh anointing from My Holy Spirit daily. The anointing is the release of My very Spirit within you.. So many of My beloved seek the anointing, and they have no further place to look than within themselves.
When you ask for a fresh anointing, you are asking for the following to be released from your earthly vessel: wisdom and understanding, council and might, knowledge and the fear of the Lord. These attributes are all contained in the Holy Spirit. When I walked on Earth as a human, yet divine, I was able to do My Father's will because I received a fresh infilling of this anointing daily.
I declared what the anointing of the Holy Spirit enabled Me to do when I read the following words from Isaiah, the prophet:: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." It is only the anointing of My Spirit that will allow Me to daily minister to others through you Understanding is the part of My anointing that will help you to love others as I love them. Difficult relationships will be healed when you receive the anointing of the spirit of Understanding. The anointing of the Holy Spirit made Me quick to understand.

MIRACLES
I encourage you to watch for miracles everyday. The first miracle that you will experience is the sunrise. Throughout the day you will see the miracle of My care for birds and beasts. You will see the miracle of My care to water the Earth and to cause trees and plants to grow. The greatest miracle is how I care for you and others.

WAITING
When you give your requests to Me, there is usually a waiting period of time before you receive the answer, Present your requests always with thanksgiving because you know and trust Me to answer your requests when they match up with My will.
How can you know if your requests are according to My will? The only way to know this is to abide in My Word. My Word reveals My will to you. Also as you make your requests, ask My Holy Spirit to pray through you My will.
Praying in the Spirit is a way to insure that whatever you miss praying for concerning any matter will be presented to My Father according to the will of My Father. I have given you My Holy Spirit to assist you in prayer. Call upon Him as you pray and also call upon Him during those waiting times that you experience before your answer is manifested on Earth.

ANXIETY
"Don't worry, be happy!" Even though this saying is a worldly one, there is a great spiritual truth to this. Paul wrote, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Me."
I do not ever want you to worry. I stand ready always to make intercession for you about everything that is a concern to you. I can perfect those things that are concerning you. My burden is light, so it is no problem for Me to carry your burdens. I will be able to shine My light upon those difficult situations and give you wisdom as you go through them.
Know with assurance that I am holding your hand through every trial. Receive from My Holy Spirit the comfort you need at this time. Rest every care upon Me because I do love and care for you. Solomon wrote that anxiety in the heart of a man causes depression, but a good word will make his heart glad. Allow Me to gladden your heart today with My Words of encouragement.

REGULATIONS
I know that sometimes you weary of so many regulations, but this is the world's way. I do not give regulations. The Pharisees and Sadducees in My day were famous for all of their regulations. They put heavy burdens on people to fulfill those regulations. if they did not fulfill them, they would not be accepted in their religious ceremonies.
I did not do away with the law. I came to fulfill the law, and I delivered those who believe in me from the curses of the law when I became a curse. "Cursed is anyone who hangs on a tree."
Thank Me today that I require no regulations for you to be My disciple. Instead, all I ask of you is that you abide in Me, abide in My love, and abide in My Word. When you dwell in My presence daily, I will fulfill My will in your life.

IMPATIENCE
Only My Spirit can help you grow in patience. Longsuffering is a fruit of My Spirit that develops as you encounter different trials. Longsuffering or patience also develops when you are forbearing with other people who are difficult.
During your lifetime, you will encounter many difficult people. When those difficult people do not agree with your plans, it is your responsibility to respond to them with gentleness and kindness instead of reacting to them. It is the root of pride that causes you to become angry and upset with those who do not want to institute your plans.
The way to pull down the stronghold of pride is simply to humble yourself and esteem the difficult person who does not agree with you higher than yourself. Then submit all of your plans to Me, and allow Me to speak to your heart what is My plan. Do not assume that your plan is always My plan.
It takes time alone with Me for Me to present My plans to you. I spent much time with My Father in prayer before I was able to determine what His plans were for Me.

RECOVERY
One of the most difficult parts of having an operation is the recovery process that follows. The recovery time seems unending, but there will be an end. The hope is always that you will have learned something helpful during the recovery period and also that you will not have to have that same surgery again.
Physical surgery and spiritual surgery are very much alike. I am the "Great Physician" Who uses My Word as a skilled two-edged surgeon's knife to do heart surgery on you. The heart is the inner man part of you that includes your spirit and soul.
The writer of Hebrew wrote: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (HEBREWS 4:12)."
Submit yourself to Me today and allow Me to do the heart surgery on you. Study My Word and you will be able to discern those strongholds in your life that need to be pulled down. If you are in the recovery process after spiritual surgery, do not be discouraged if you see some of the same mental and emotional patterns arising again. Give that part of the recovery to Me, and let Me finish the good work that I have begun in you.

REVIEW
One of the secrets to encouraging yourself in Me is to review all the times that I have strengthened, encouraged, and helped you in the past. My friend David, the psalmist, knew this secret. As you read the psalms that he wrote, you will see how he reviewed the times that I saw him through some difficult trials.
You may not have kept a journal of how I have answered your prayers in the past, but I would like for you to do this. Just incorporate this writing along with your daily journaling. Now is a good time to start this since you are entering a new year.
Before you record your prayers, ask My Holy Spirit to put on your heart an individual or a concern for each day. This way you will not keep repeating the same prayers daily. I want you to develop being led by My Spirit as you pray each morning. I have given you My "Helper," Who always is delighted when you call on His help when you pray. Keep a record of what you prayed and when the answer is manifested record this also.

ONCE
I do not want you ever to be discouraged when you fail to display the fruits of My Spirit in a difficult trial or relationship. .
It is natural to condemn yourself whenever you operate in the flesh instead of My Spirit. Your hope would be to only go around the mountain of difficult trials and relationships only once, but that usually does not happen. Remember that I always give make up tests to give you another chance to succeed.
The fruits of My Spirit develop. They do not happen over night. Ask My Holy Spirit to help you in the process of developing the fruits of My Spirit. His job is to conform you to My image, and He is delighted whenever you ask for His help.

LETTING GO
I know how you would love to be able to fix everyone who you perceive need fixing. However, you must remember that your attempts to fix will always fail. My Holy Spirit is the fixer. You may have wise counsel to share with those who you think need fixing, but only My Holy Spirit can cause a person to follow your counsel.
My Holy Spirit is the counselor. Pray for those who think need fixing that they will hear clearly from My Holy Spirit. Do spiritual warfare for them and intercede for them. That is your part. My part is to give them the wisdom that comes from above. Pray that those you are wanting to change will have ears to hear what My Spirit is saying to them day by day.
Give those people to Me. Stop judging them, and also stop meditating on what you will say to them and what counsel you will give them. Instead, release and let them go. Pray that they will come to Me and share their concerns, and then I will be able to perfect all those things that concern them.

TRIPS
I have always heard your say, "Half the fun of a trip is planning the trip." You are on an eternal journey, and all has been planned for you. The delight you will experience in life is when you receive and walk in those plans that I have for you.
I have designed works for you to accomplish while you are on Earth. Those works were planned from the foundation of the Earth. When you recognize this true fact, your journey on Earth will be joyful.
Today ask My Spirit to help you not fall short of any good work that I have planned for you. Ask Him to put you in the right place at the right time. At the end of the day, you will be amazed at what I have accomplished through your earthly vessel.

HEALING
There is no sickness in heaven. The sickness that you experience on Earth is the result of Adam and Eve's disobedience. You live in a world that is corrupt because of sin.
When you pray the prayer that I instructed My disciples to pray, you are praying that My Kingdom will come on Earth as it is in heaven. You are praying for the manifestation of My healing power on Earth.
I am the same today, yesterday and forever. When you pray for others to be healed, know that it is My will to heal. The gospels prove this fact that I healed all those who came to Me. Knowing the incidences of healings that are reported in My Word will help build your faith for healing right now as you pray for yourself and others. When you read those special verses out loud, you will be declaring My Word into the atmosphere, and those demonic spirits that would love to give you a dark day, will flee immediately. Satan is the "Prince and Power of the Air." My Word becomes the sword of the Spirit when you release My Word into the air. Your physical body and your soul and spirit will be inspired and encouraged as you declare My Word out loud.

I said that I am the door to the sheepfold. I stand in the gap for My beloved to protect them from the wolves who wear sheep's clothing in an attempt to get into the sheepfold. .
Keep praying for open doors for jobs and open doors to hearts. Rest assured also that I never slumber nor sleep, and that I always stand in the gap interceding for you and all My sheep who hear and obey My voice.

MERCY
I said that if you want to obtain mercy, you need to show mercy. Often when people are depressed because of the circumstances they are experiencing, the last thing they want to do is show mercy to another person. They desperately need someone to show them mercy, but they settle for a "Pity Party" instead.When someone has a "Pity Party," they are settling for counterfeit mercy instead to coming to My Holy Spirit to find comfort.
To get out of that tail spin of depression, such people need to reach out and show mercy to another person. However, they need to do this with caution and seek the counsel of My Holy Spirit before they reach out. Some people who you show mercy to will take advantage of you.
Pray today that you will inquire of Me before you reach out to others in a merciful way. Do not be confused by your emotional need to fix another person or make a quick decision to help them because you just feel sorry for them. Remember always that My Spirit is the comforter, not you.

To get out of that tail spin of depression, such people need to reach out and show mercy to another person. However, they need to do this with caution and seek the counsel of My Holy Spirit before they reach out. Some people who you show mercy to will take advantage of you.
