You were created with a divine imagination. When Adam and Eve disobeyed My Father, their imaginations were vulnerable to the attacks of My enemy. Vain imaginations and longing thoughts for the things of this world took their focus off of heavenly and eternal things.
You live in a day when it is so easy for you to turn your focus away from Me. Images come to you through many vehicles such as the TV and the computer. Be on the alert to pull down the vain imaginations that the enemy wants you to receive daily. Guard the gates to your mind - the ear gate, the eye gate, and the mouth gate.
Place the helmet of salvation over your mind daily and declare out loud that you do have My mind. Renew your mind daily as you study My Word. The onslought of the enemy is increasing as the day draws near to My return. More than ever you must use your weapons of warfare to pull down every stronghold. Give your thoughts and imaginations to Me and I will cleanse your mind. Stay your mind upon Me and I then will be able to keep you in perfect peace.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
