Most people look for trademarks on products to be sure that those products are not just a copy. You want to know if something is the genuine thing. You also want to know if the people in your life are genuine. By that, you long for people in your life who will accept you for who you are without expecting more of you. You desire friendships that are based on total honesty and love. You enjoy people who you can be honest with without having the fear that you could hurt them in some way. Genuine friends are few, but when you find them you want to be with those friends because you know you do not have to prove yourself to them. You are who you are and they love you because you are who you are.
I am such a friend. I am genuine. I love you for who you are and I love just being with you as you move through your day. I understand when you get inritated when something happens to interfere with your plans to accomplish much that day. If that something is a person who you love, you are willing to make room for that person to be a part of your day even if that was not your "plan A" for the day. I love it when you make room for Me all the day long because if thrills Me to hear your praises throughout the day and your unending conversations with Me. Cultivate your friendship with Me and soon you will hear people say that you are "the real thing" which means you are genuine.

WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.
At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.
FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.
MINISTRY
