WORD FROM THE LORD
Every day I spend time with the Lord in the morning and He speaks to my heart words that are encouraging, exhorting and sometimes rebuking.

At first, I felt not to share these words with others, but then I realized I am just one of His followers. There are many people who need a word daily from the Lord, but they do not have the time to seek Him. This is why I decided to share the words I received from time to time. The messages are in first person as the the Lord relayed them to my spirtual ears.

FAMILY
We have three sons and nine grandchildren. There is something new happening all the time in the Sommer family. I will post some of these events of interest.

VESSEL

I have ordained that you be a vessel to honor Me.  You are the temple that contains My Holy Spirit.  I know that you have a hard time believing that I would trust you to contain such a precious treasure, but I commanded My light to shine into your heart.

The moment you received Me as your Lord and Savior, My Spirit indwelled you. I commanded My light to shine out of darkness to shine in your heart to give you the light of the knowledge of My glory in My face.

I chose you as an earthen vessel in order that the excellency of the power within you might be of Me and not of you.  I prepared you to receive the riches of My glory through My Holy Spirit Who indwells you. I consider you a vessel of mercy, and My Spirit within you will show forth My mercy to others.

ROMANS 9:23; 2 CORINTHIANS 4:6-7
